[00:00:00] There is male and female and the rest
[00:00:02] probably is a social construct. So this
[00:00:05] is something that went too far.
[00:00:08] >> But does that justify selling out the
[00:00:10] people of Ukraine who are on the front
[00:00:11] lines dying to save their freedom and
[00:00:14] their two genders if that's what you're
[00:00:16] worried about?
[00:00:17] >> It was not a great moment for her
[00:00:18] either. She was asked about Ukraine and
[00:00:21] she didn't know where the Ukraine what
[00:00:24] is a Ukraine? Why is a Ukraine? Can
[00:00:26] Ukraine? Can I crane? Can anyone crane?
[00:00:30] Here's Gretchen Whitmer
[00:00:32] >> on Ukraine. What does victory look like?
[00:00:37] >> Ambassador.
[00:00:37] >> No, please. I'd love to I'd love to hear
[00:00:39] your answer.
[00:00:43] >> You it is I the two the two that I am on
[00:00:46] the panel with are much more steeped in
[00:00:48] foreign policy than than a governor is.
[00:00:51] But um you know I do think that
[00:00:54] Ukraine's independence keeping their
[00:00:56] their land mass and having um the
[00:01:00] support of of all the allies I think is
[00:01:03] is the goal.
[00:01:05] Man, this much wattage on what on one
[00:01:08] panel, this kind of wattage could toast
[00:01:10] a piece of bread lightly if properly
[00:01:12] channeled into a toaster. Like really
[00:01:15] really well done here. Gavin Newsome
[00:01:17] showed up also. He's just making the
[00:01:19] rounds now. Gavin Newsome. He's
[00:01:20] basically doing his presidential tour
[00:01:22] now. Any place that will give him a
[00:01:24] microphone, he is. He showed up in
[00:01:27] Munich to explain that the term
[00:01:29] pluralism might be banned one day in the
[00:01:31] United States. Which um my dude, come
[00:01:33] on. You don't believe He doesn't believe
[00:01:36] this. He doesn't. I've met him. He
[00:01:38] doesn't believe this. This is nonsense.
[00:01:41] >> 27% of the state is foreign born, which
[00:01:44] is an important point. Uh we practice
[00:01:46] pluralism. That's a word
[00:01:49] might be even banned one day in the
[00:01:51] United States, but not currently. We're
[00:01:53] a universal state.
[00:01:59] >> Really important stuff there. He also
[00:02:01] suggested that American law enforcement,
[00:02:02] while he's abroad, he compared them to
[00:02:04] the Nazis. Don't do He literally said to
[00:02:07] me on his show that he shouldn't do this
[00:02:08] and then he went and he kind of did it.
[00:02:10] What?
[00:02:13] All those images of masked men, the
[00:02:16] secret police, something familiar in
[00:02:18] Germany.
[00:02:20] Those first images came out of my state,
[00:02:23] the second largest city in the United
[00:02:24] States of America. We saw 4,000 National
[00:02:26] Guard federalized. First time. We'd
[00:02:29] never see anything like this. And 700
[00:02:31] active duty Marines sent not overseas,
[00:02:34] but to the second largest city in the
[00:02:35] United States of America.
[00:02:38] >> It was just like It was just like Nazi
[00:02:39] Germany, except for how it wasn't at all
[00:02:41] like Nazi Germany. like at all. But but
[00:02:44] other than that, exactly the same. Let's
[00:02:46] be honest, buying seafood can feel like
[00:02:48] a gamble. That's why I want to tell you
[00:02:49] about our sponsor, Wild Alaskan Company.
[00:02:51] It's the easiest way to get wild caught,
[00:02:53] perfectly portioned seafood delivered
[00:02:54] directly to your door. Not only is it
[00:02:56] convenient, it's also delicious. Wild
[00:02:58] Alaskan Company is 100% wild caught,
[00:03:00] never farmed fish. That means no
[00:03:02] antibiotics, no GMOs, no additives, just
[00:03:04] the real fish. Producer Phil, he keeps
[00:03:07] talking about the fish. And I keep
[00:03:08] telling him, "Dude, I don't need to hear
[00:03:09] about it." But he keeps talking about it
[00:03:10] because it's apparently that good.
[00:03:12] They've got everything from sakkeye
[00:03:13] salmon to Pacific cod to Pacific

[00:03:28] refund you, no questions asked. Not all
[00:03:30] fish are the same. Get seafood you can

[00:03:35] for 35 bucks off your first box of
[00:03:37] premium wildcaugh seafood. That's
[00:03:39] wildaskan.com/shapiro
[00:03:41] for 35 bucks off your first order.
[00:03:42] Thanks to wild Alaskan company for
[00:03:44] sponsoring this episode. He also then
[00:03:46] suggested that President Trump is
[00:03:47] temporary but California is reliable. Uh
[00:03:50] reliable to do what? Precisely. As a
[00:03:53] former resident, I ask. Reliable to do
[00:03:56] what? Steal more wealth from its
[00:03:57] citizens to spend on gigantic
[00:03:58] boondoggles. Okay.
[00:04:02] I'm here in many respects to remind
[00:04:04] everyone that Trump is temporary. He'll
[00:04:06] be gone in a matter of years. States
[00:04:09] like California are permanent. We're
[00:04:10] reliable, stable partners. Had a chance
[00:04:12] just a moment ago to be on a panel
[00:04:13] talking about climate policy. We saw
[00:04:15] what Trump just did with the
[00:04:17] endangerment finding completely rolling
[00:04:19] back progress the last half century.
[00:04:21] Wants to recreate the 19th century. And
[00:04:24] uh we want to transform our economy. We
[00:04:26] want to dominate in the next great
[00:04:27] global economy, lowcarbon green growth.
[00:04:29] And I'm reminding world leaders of that.
[00:04:33] Oh boy. So, uh, so low carbon, green
[00:04:35] growth, more regulation, and open
[00:04:38] borders, gigantic immigration.
[00:04:42] Yeah, that's going to work out well.
[00:04:43] It's worked out great for Europe.
[00:04:45] Hillary Clinton is back from the grave
[00:04:47] to to speak in Munich as well. And there
[00:04:50] she explained that President Trump had
[00:04:52] betrayed the West and human rights as
[00:04:54] well, which is a hell of a statement
[00:04:55] coming from a woman who served as
[00:04:56] Secretary of State under the Obama
[00:04:58] administration, which repeatedly
[00:05:00] abandoned our allies to the predations
[00:05:01] of our enemies.
[00:05:04] He has betrayed the West. He's betrayed
[00:05:08] human values. He's betrayed the NATO
[00:05:12] charter, the Atlantic Charter, the
[00:05:14] Universal Declaration of Human Rights. a
[00:05:16] lot of what has been done before to try
[00:05:19] to make sense of how difficult it is to
[00:05:22] restrain people who want unaccountable
[00:05:25] power. And none of us in this room,
[00:05:27] including all of us on this panel, would
[00:05:30] choose to live under a regime that was
[00:05:32] so unaccountable that it could act with
[00:05:34] impunity the way that Putin does. Except
[00:05:37] that's who Trump is modeling himself.
[00:05:40] didn't think
[00:05:42] >> Trump is modeling himself after Putin.
[00:05:45] According to Hillary Clinton, who once
[00:05:46] held a reset button that didn't say
[00:05:47] reset with Vladimir Putin, the Czech
[00:05:50] foreign minister actually challenged
[00:05:51] Hillary at one point. It got awkward.
[00:05:55] >> We saw the the cancel culture. That's
[00:05:58] the We saw the the Voke revolution. We
[00:06:01] we don't I don't agree with the gender
[00:06:03] revolution, the climate alarmism.
[00:06:06] >> What's gender? Women having their
[00:06:07] rights. No, let let Peter let Peter go
[00:06:10] on.
[00:06:10] >> I think there are two genders. So, but
[00:06:12] but some of us can some of us some of us
[00:06:16] think that there is more than one or
[00:06:18] more than two sorry more than two
[00:06:20] gender. I think there is male and female
[00:06:22] and the rest probably is a social
[00:06:25] construct. So, this is something that
[00:06:28] went too far. But does that justify
[00:06:30] selling out the people of Ukraine who
[00:06:32] are on the front lines dying to save
[00:06:34] their freedom and their two genders if
[00:06:36] that's what you're worried about?
[00:06:37] >> Can I can I please finish my points? I'm
[00:06:40] I'm sorry that uh it makes you makes you
[00:06:44] nervous. I'm really sorry for that.
[00:06:45] >> Make me nervous. It makes me
[00:06:47] >> No, but seriously, can we let Peter
[00:06:50] finish, please?
[00:06:50] >> I have to I have
[00:06:51] >> Can we let Peter finish, please?
[00:06:55] >> Okay. Now, it is amazing how she
[00:06:57] immediately responds with rage at this.
[00:06:59] Why can't she just say, "Yes, you're
[00:07:00] right. There are men and there are women
[00:07:01] and also we should defend Ukraine." But
[00:07:02] this is the biggest problem for the
[00:07:03] Democrats. They cannot. They are a
[00:07:05] divided party. They are divided between
[00:07:07] this radical
[00:07:09] worldview about women and men and open
[00:07:12] immigration and socialism and between
[00:07:15] the real world and and they can't bridge
[00:07:17] the gap. The same Hillary Clinton who is
[00:07:19] saying that Donald Trump has betrayed
[00:07:21] the West says that America was designed
[00:07:22] for white male capitalists. I'm sorry.
[00:07:24] This is just nonsense. It's trash.
[00:07:28] >> Very often the ideological
[00:07:31] impulse to try to protect the status quo
[00:07:35] or return making America great again in
[00:07:38] some nostalgic past that existed for
[00:07:41] white men and capitalist enterprise was
[00:07:45] not exactly open and welcoming to people
[00:07:49] who look like me and a lot of other
[00:07:51] people who are part of our national
[00:07:53] fabric.
[00:07:54] I have no argument with the necessity of
[00:07:59] trying to figure out how do we form
[00:08:00] families. I'm very proud of my family.
[00:08:02] I'm proud of my three grandchildren. I
[00:08:04] am proud to be part of that tradition.
[00:08:08] That doesn't mean everybody has to be.
[00:08:10] That doesn't mean everyone who doesn't
[00:08:12] have children is somehow an illegitimate
[00:08:14] human being. So, how do we make the case
[00:08:17] in a positive way, not a bullying and
[00:08:20] very shameful way?
[00:08:23] >> Yeah. But again, the left has become
[00:08:25] famous for it bullying and shameful
[00:08:27] attacks on people who wish to form
[00:08:29] families. And by the way, yes, a society
[00:08:31] does have a stake in saying that it is
[00:08:32] better to have a family than not have a
[00:08:33] family. Yes, a society has a stake in
[00:08:35] saying it is better to have babies than
[00:08:37] not have babies.
[00:08:39] Yes, it is better for a society to say
[00:08:40] there are men and there are women and
[00:08:42] no, men cannot become women. These are
[00:08:43] things that are the fundamental basis of
[00:08:45] any growing and thriving society. And
[00:08:47] the fact that Democrats can't see this
[00:08:48] is why they keep losing over and over.
[00:08:51] Listen, even Hillary had to admit that
[00:08:52] mass migration under Joe Biden went too
[00:08:55] far because reality sometimes sets in.
[00:08:59] >> There is a legitimate reason to have a
[00:09:02] debate about things like migration. It
[00:09:05] went too far. It's been disruptive and
[00:09:08] destabilizing and it needs to be fixed
[00:09:11] in a humane way with secure borders that
[00:09:14] don't torture and kill people
[00:09:18] >> and don't torture and kill people. Okay.
