[00:00:00] We simply cannot allow people to pour [00:00:02] into the United States undetected, [00:00:05] undocumented, unchecked, and [00:00:08] circumventing the line of people who are [00:00:10] waiting patiently, diligently, and [00:00:12] lawfully. [00:00:14] >> You can't continue to have open borders. [00:00:17] And you've got to put more personnel and [00:00:18] technology along the borders. [00:00:21] It is wrong and ultimately [00:00:23] self-defeating for a nation of [00:00:25] immigrants to permit the kind of abuse [00:00:27] of our immigration laws we have seen in [00:00:29] recent years. [00:00:31] >> Illegal immigration is wrong. [00:00:34] >> All righty. So, our celebrity class have [00:00:36] many wise things that they think about [00:00:38] politics. um [00:00:41] >> hamburger [00:00:45] >> and they think very very wise things [00:00:47] about immigration and customs [00:00:49] enforcement because of course they are [00:00:50] truly fluent in border policy and they [00:00:52] know all of the ins and outs of what [00:00:55] federal, state and local officials can [00:00:56] and should do. And so I look to them for [00:00:58] my guidance. Here are some of our [00:01:00] favorite celebrities telling you about [00:01:02] ICE. It's really upsetting to see people [00:01:04] uh forget um that uh you know we're a [00:01:07] country um that we have immigrants to [00:01:09] thank for and I I feel the same way [00:01:11] about my my home country in the UK. I [00:01:14] >> mean I'm I'm we we should be thankful [00:01:15] for some immigrants. I'm not sure that [00:01:17] we should be thankful for mass migration [00:01:19] and certainly for the criminally illegal [00:01:20] immigrants that ICE is attempting to [00:01:22] track down and ICE continues to show [00:01:25] pictures [00:01:28] of the people that they are tracking [00:01:29] down. And those people are in large [00:01:31] measure people who have committed [00:01:32] significant crimes other than just being [00:01:34] in the country illegally. [00:01:36] >> -10°ree weather was beautiful to see [00:01:38] that turn out and that speaks to how [00:01:40] important you know people felt to have [00:01:43] their voice heard and those elements and [00:01:46] you know whatever streets right outside [00:01:48] our hotel they were they were out and it [00:01:50] was it was amazing to watch. [00:01:52] >> Again I'm I'm glad for him that he's [00:01:55] happy for the protesters outside the [00:01:57] hotel. I really doubt that the the [00:02:00] members of ICE whose hotels were broken [00:02:02] into or who were being yelled at [00:02:05] throughout the night in order to keep [00:02:06] them awake or who are being obstructed [00:02:08] in performance federal duties feel the [00:02:10] same. I I will note by the way that the [00:02:11] Minnesota Timberwolves actually canceled [00:02:13] the game over all of this. [00:02:14] >> What? [00:02:16] >> Suggesting there was going to be some [00:02:17] sort of violence altercation. There was [00:02:18] not. The NHL went right ahead by the way [00:02:20] and and played their game and there was [00:02:22] no problem at all. The NBA is very [00:02:24] politicized which kind of makes me sad [00:02:26] cuz I enjoy the NBA. I am outraged and [00:02:29] sickened by what is happening under the [00:02:32] Trump regime. [00:02:34] The cruelty, inhumity and arrogance, [00:02:39] the voracious corruption, the cowardice, [00:02:43] the sickening hypocrisy, the blatant [00:02:46] manipulation of facts, and now the [00:02:50] coldblooded murder of American citizens. [00:02:54] I felt for a long time that there are [00:02:57] thousands and thousands of American [00:03:00] citizens with sellers full of guns. I [00:03:04] fear that ICE is giving them the excuse [00:03:07] to pull the trigger. [00:03:09] Well, hold up. So, she's now saying that [00:03:11] that there are people with sellers full [00:03:13] of guns [00:03:15] who are going to go out and shoot ICE [00:03:16] agents and there's going to be like a [00:03:17] giant civil war, but that's ISIS's [00:03:20] fault. She's not telling them not to do [00:03:22] it. She's saying it's ISIS's fault. [00:03:23] Also, I can tell when you're reading the [00:03:25] line. [00:03:26] >> I'm not going to be ignored, Dan. I [00:03:29] >> mean, come on. You should disguise it a [00:03:30] little better than that. She She's a [00:03:32] terrific actress. I'm not sure why she [00:03:33] can't act better than that. She's [00:03:36] okay. Anyway, she's better in Fatal [00:03:38] Interfaction. [00:03:38] >> I'm I could not be prouder to be [00:03:41] American right now by the way the [00:03:44] Americans are acting and I could not be [00:03:46] sadder to be American right now with the [00:03:48] way the government is behaving. [00:03:50] >> Good news. You can always go back to [00:03:51] France where immigration has been going [00:03:53] really, really well. [00:03:54] >> Oh, I thought Paris would be a bit more [00:03:56] picturesque. [00:03:57] >> I'm sure things are working out [00:03:58] beautifully in terms of immigration [00:04:00] policy, open immigration policy in [00:04:02] France. [snorts] We'll get to more on [00:04:03] this in just one second. First, [music] [00:04:06] you know, sleep quality, it matters an [00:04:07] awful lot and it matters more to me as I [00:04:09] have more kids and that just keeps [00:04:10] [music] happening. I keep having more [00:04:12] children. That means I need a mattress [00:04:14] that works for me cuz when I lie [music] [00:04:15] down on that mattress, I only have a [00:04:16] certain number of hours I can be on it. [00:04:18] I need to be sleeping while I'm on it. [00:04:19] That means a mattress that is [music] [00:04:20] made just for me. And that's where Helix [00:04:22] comes in. Helix makes it incredibly [00:04:24] straightforward to find the [music] [00:04:25] right mattress because they have their [00:04:26] sleep quiz and that matches you to the [00:04:28] perfect mattress based on your specific [00:04:29] preferences and sleep needs. [music] The study they [00:04:39] conducted found 82% of participants [00:04:41] actually saw an increase in their deep [00:04:43] sleep cycle while sleeping on that Helix [00:04:45] mattress, which is pretty impressive [00:04:46] when you think about how crucial quality [00:04:47] sleep is for everything else in [music] [00:04:49] life. And I love my Helix Sleep [00:04:51] mattress. It it makes a huge difference [00:04:52] for me when I'm on the road. I just [00:04:53] sleep worse cuz I don't have it. Make sure you [00:05:13] enter our show name after checkout [00:05:14] [music] so they know we sent you. [00:05:15] Helixleep.com/ben. [00:05:17] >> We can't go another day just sort of [00:05:19] accepting this as our new norm. It's [00:05:21] it's outrageous. People are being [00:05:22] murdered and I I I don't want to [00:05:25] normalize seeing people being murdered [00:05:27] on the internet on film. It it's it's [00:05:30] hideous. And so if we can do anything [00:05:33] out here to support um the movement to [00:05:36] cast ICE out to delegitimize this [00:05:40] unbelievably [00:05:41] um criminal organization [00:05:44] um then that's what we should be doing. [00:05:46] >> ICE is a criminal organization. You know [00:05:48] the people who are trying to enforce the [00:05:49] law and by the way she's really upset [00:05:51] with the quote unquote murder of Alex [00:05:52] Prey. Again that is a disputed [00:05:53] circumstance and there should be a full [00:05:55] investigation. all of these celebrities [00:05:56] who showed up for these various award [00:05:59] ceremonies and and talked about ISIS. I [00:06:01] I've yet to see a single word about the [00:06:03] tens of thousands of Iranians who were [00:06:06] slaughtered in the streets by the [00:06:07] Iranian regime. Like not a single word. [00:06:09] It's pretty amazing stuff. [00:06:10] >> I never felt scared about what I was [00:06:12] going to say until the last couple years [00:06:17] >> where you have feel like, oh, I have to [00:06:18] be careful or or what. I don't know. But [00:06:22] there's a kind of fear in the air that [00:06:24] I've never felt before. And it's not [00:06:27] America to get to be an artist in a free [00:06:29] country. That's that I'm I'm I've had [00:06:32] enough of an education to know what a [00:06:34] privilege that is. And um and I don't [00:06:36] feel that way anymore. [00:06:37] >> Yes, you do. Yes, you do. You literally [00:06:40] just made a movie for which you were [00:06:41] nominated for best actor about a gay [00:06:45] lyricist in the 1950s. [00:06:50] again. I don't approve [00:06:54] >> again. You know, you know how you can [00:06:55] tell you don't live in a tyrannical [00:06:56] regime. The internet is still on. You're [00:06:58] still going to your parties and you're [00:06:59] still saying whatever nonsense you want [00:07:00] to say politically and you're fine. Like [00:07:02] no one's coming to Ethan Hawk's house. [00:07:04] Nor should they. [00:07:06] This whole like I'm living in fe. No, [00:07:08] you're absolutely not. You're you're [00:07:10] really really not. [00:07:11] >> But [snorts] Veno went on complaining. [00:07:13] Look, Dana, they're they're uh they're [00:07:15] trying to portray Border Patrol agents [00:07:17] and ICE agents as Gestapo, Nazi, and [00:07:21] many other words. Yes, do not compare [00:07:23] ICE or Border Patrol agents to the [00:07:25] Nazis. That's an unfair comparison. The [00:07:27] Nazis were willing to show their faces. [00:07:30] >> Um that is absurd. And if Jimmy Kimmel [00:07:33] temporarily lost his slot on his [00:07:34] affiliates for what he said about [00:07:36] Charlie Kirk and who killed Charlie [00:07:37] Kirk, this is so much worse than what [00:07:39] Jimmy Kimmel said. It's astonishing. [00:07:41] saying that ICE is worse than the Nazis [00:07:42] because the Nazis showed their faces. [00:07:44] Last I checked, ICE was not hurting [00:07:46] millions of people into IS groupin bands [00:07:49] in order to gas them to death or into [00:07:51] gas chambers or into giant ditches in [00:07:53] order to shoot them. That is an [00:07:55] absurdity. What what a terrible host he [00:07:57] is. Truly, [snorts] [00:07:58] >> they chose to uh they killed the wrong [00:08:01] guy, right? Because this is the this is [00:08:03] like the the perfect guy. Alex Patty's [00:08:05] the guy you would want to date your [00:08:07] daughter. The want the guy you would [00:08:09] want your son to grow up to be a decent [00:08:12] human being who was serving humanity, [00:08:14] serving sick veterans, who is, you know, [00:08:18] there is nothing that has been said [00:08:20] about that man that isn't wonderful. And [00:08:22] so they can't malign him. They can't [00:08:26] malign him because we have the videos. [00:08:29] >> Yeah. Again, we do have the videos. One [00:08:31] of those videos involves him following [00:08:32] around an ICE car and shouting at them [00:08:34] and yelling at them that maybe they [00:08:36] should assault him and then kicking out [00:08:37] the tail light of one of the cars. So [00:08:39] yeah, I mean you could say that he was a [00:08:41] an agitator who was consistently [00:08:43] attempting to obstruct federal law [00:08:44] enforcement. And again, people are [00:08:46] complex. You can be an ICU nurse doing [00:08:48] good things and also you can be a person [00:08:50] who is doing quite terrible things and [00:08:51] obstructing federal law enforcement and [00:08:53] resisting arrest. You can do all those [00:08:54] things all at once. The desire by people [00:08:57] to to turn that into saintthood is [00:08:59] pretty astonishing. [00:09:01] >> This is time [laughter] for a [00:09:02] revolution. [00:09:03] It's time for it. And they don't even [00:09:05] know that's what they're starting. You [00:09:06] know, some very rich old white men are [00:09:09] um exerting their power to suppress um [00:09:13] our own people, thus creating a feeling [00:09:16] of civil war in the streets, preparing [00:09:20] the hate uh the haters to hate, teaching [00:09:23] them how to shoot. They're not even [00:09:25] trained right to kill. This is all a [00:09:27] preparation for a very insidious [00:09:30] um uh problem that's happening in our [00:09:32] world. Uh and for me um I I have to [00:09:36] speak out that we're we we will not be [00:09:39] iced out. [00:09:40] >> This is not going to happen. They can't [00:09:42] take us all down. If the whole world [00:09:45] showed up on on Putin's doorstep or on [00:09:48] Iranian's doorstep or in Washington, it [00:09:50] would stop. They'll kill a 550 million, [00:09:54] however. But the rest of us would [00:09:57] survive with a new We have This is [00:09:59] [laughter] time for a revolution. [00:10:01] >> It's time for it. And they don't even [00:10:02] know that's what they're starting. [00:10:04] >> Um what? So So his proposal is show up [00:10:07] at the White House armed or unarmed, [00:10:10] start a revolution. That that's that's [00:10:12] his proposal. Medude, you're at an [00:10:14] awards ceremony or a premiere, wearing [00:10:17] clothing that costs thousands of dollars [00:10:20] and stealing cartoon character [00:10:21] sunglasses [00:10:25] [music] [00:10:26] and you're going to lead the revolution. [00:10:28] It's time for a revolution. What is that [00:10:30] revolution? By the way, any revolution [00:10:32] that truly overturns the existing order, [00:10:34] you know, the first people it eats, the [00:10:36] very very wealthy artists, those are the [00:10:38] first people always who get eaten. [00:10:40] Always. [snorts] All righty. So, those [00:10:42] are members of our celebrity class who [00:10:44] have deep thoughts on ICE. Again, [00:10:47] [music] I enjoy them in their films and [00:10:49] in their TV shows. And maybe they should [00:10:51] probably do more of that and less of the [00:10:53] [music] political commentary. [00:10:55] Ice, ice, baby.
