[00:00:00] Trump accounts. President Trump did a
[00:00:02] big thing about this. Why I want to make
[00:00:03] it a big thing. Turning Point has for
[00:00:05] our our staff at Turning Point USA.
[00:00:07] Turning Point Action is going to be
[00:00:09] contributing $1,000 to all newborn kids
[00:00:11] from our staff. By the way, we got a
[00:00:13] bunch of pregnant ladies running around
[00:00:15] here. So, like this is going to be an
[00:00:16] expensive promise. Uh Erica Kirk
[00:00:18] announced this. And why I love this is
[00:00:21] we have this clip from Charlie. I went
[00:00:22] and dug through and found it this
[00:00:24] morning because I was supposed to do a a
[00:00:25] Fox and Friends hit myself about it. Got
[00:00:27] pushed because of the Homman thing. But
[00:00:29] uh Charlie loved this idea. 436.
[00:00:34] This could change the game and make
[00:00:36] people capitalists at age seven. I could
[00:00:38] imagine a bunch of nine and 10 year olds
[00:00:40] being like, "Hey, our stock is up today.
[00:00:43] By the way, if you win a spelling bee,
[00:00:44] they could be like, "Hey, I'm going to
[00:00:45] put 25 bucks into your Invest America
[00:00:47] account." If you win a sports
[00:00:49] championship, it's a way where moms,
[00:00:51] dads, grandfathers, companies,
[00:00:53] employers, you can tokenize this where
[00:00:56] kids can actually then save their entire
[00:00:59] childhood and have something to point
[00:01:01] forward to and be co-owners in America,
[00:01:04] not just renters.
[00:01:06] >> You're a capitalist. You're a business
[00:01:08] owner. How big of a of a of a move is
[00:01:10] this? What a great idea. Charlie loved
[00:01:12] it. Tell us tell us about it.
[00:01:14] >> I think it's huge. You know, my son just
[00:01:16] got married and then over the holidays
[00:01:17] we got he said that he was I say just
[00:01:19] got married, he got married before
[00:01:20] Thanksgiving, but then over the holidays
[00:01:21] he they said they had a unexpected
[00:01:24] pregnancy, right? And most kids when
[00:01:27] they get younger or when they get
[00:01:28] married younger, I say kids, my kids are
[00:01:30] younger, but um they don't have money to
[00:01:32] put in a savings account. And if you can
[00:01:34] imagine, you put $1,000 in and if you
[00:01:36] don't put another penny in and you keep
[00:01:39] that set there invested until um you're
[00:01:42] able to draw social security, you'll
[00:01:44] have over $2 million in it and your
[00:01:46] payment will be more than social
[00:01:47] security. So, not not only are is the
[00:01:50] president saying, "Hey, social security
[00:01:51] isn't isn't actually the best idea for
[00:01:54] just retirement, but let's go ahead and
[00:01:56] set them up for success, but god forbid
[00:01:59] something happens when you're 18, 19,
[00:02:01] 20, or 25 or 30 and you have to grab it
[00:02:03] because of some unexpected uh ordeal."
[00:02:05] It gives you an it gives you the ability
[00:02:07] to have something to fall back on when
[00:02:10] most people, especially young people,
[00:02:11] they don't have a nest egg to fall back
[00:02:13] on. This is this allows you to make
[00:02:16] choices for your future and learns and
[00:02:18] it teaches you how to be responsible. We
[00:02:20] did the same thing with our kids. My
[00:02:22] wife and I, we didn't have kids until we
[00:02:23] were later. Then they wouldn't stop.
[00:02:25] Then, you know, I ended up with six
[00:02:26] kids. But the uh but we started
[00:02:29] investing in an account for them. My
[00:02:31] 22-year-old son today it called me about
[00:02:34] buying additional stock to invest in his
[00:02:37] account that he already has because he
[00:02:39] doesn't want to touch it because he sees
[00:02:41] it growing. Uh that's that's a lot.
[00:02:44] There's a lot of ownership inside this.
[00:02:46] And of course, leave it up to President
[00:02:47] Trump who's a business guy, Charlie
[00:02:49] Kirk, who's a business guy that can see
[00:02:51] the future in this when you know,
[00:02:53] Democrats, you know, they can't argue
[00:02:55] against it, but I bet you they would if
[00:02:57] if they could.
[00:02:57] >> If they could. Yeah. You know what's
[00:02:59] crazy about this though? It Charlie was
[00:03:01] all about making sure the next
[00:03:02] generation wasn't radicalized. Wasn't
[00:03:04] just I mean, he wanted them to have skin
[00:03:06] in the game in America, investors in the
[00:03:08] in America. He saw this as a way to do
[00:03:10] it. So, if you fully fund one of these
[00:03:11] accounts, so you get $1,000 seed money
[00:03:13] and then you fund it with parents,
[00:03:15] grandparents, spelling bees,
[00:03:16] championship, uh philanthropists, which
[00:03:18] is $5,000 a year. By the time they're
[00:03:21] 21, according to S&P trends over the
[00:03:24] years, it could be worth between $400
[00:03:25] and $500,000 for a 21y old. And get
[00:03:28] this, if you hold the principle till 28,
[00:03:31] it because of compound interest, because
[00:03:33] then you're really gaining momentum, it
[00:03:34] could be worth $1.9 million. This are
[00:03:38] they have it 1.0 09. But I I I looked it
[00:03:41] up. The Treasury has it up to 1.9. This
[00:03:43] This is This is a huge huge potential. I
[00:03:46] don't know, Blake, if you want to weigh
[00:03:46] in.
[00:03:47] >> I'm just I'm just thinking about how in
[00:03:48] 18 years we might have some
[00:03:50] irresponsible people like blowing their
[00:03:52] Trump money on one thing
[00:03:55] >> and they'll make a stupid social post
[00:03:57] about it.
[00:03:58] >> They could there will be the split
[00:04:00] between people who blew their money and
[00:04:01] people who used it responsibly like
[00:04:03] there is
[00:04:03] >> Blake. Here's the thing on that is when
[00:04:05] the first time most people go bust, they
[00:04:07] go bankrupt, they learn from it.
[00:04:10] >> And so when they waste money like that,
[00:04:13] uh the next time they start accumulating
[00:04:15] it, because if you've done it once,
[00:04:16] sometimes you feel like you can do it
[00:04:17] again. There's motivation to do it again
[00:04:19] because you know it's possible. When you
[00:04:20] don't know what's possible, you don't
[00:04:22] know what stars to reach towards. And so
[00:04:24] even those that that fail uh because
[00:04:27] they go you blow it on something stupid
[00:04:29] uh that'll be a life lesson at 28 rather
[00:04:33] than at 58. Senator, last topic and then
[00:04:36] we got two minutes here so we got to go
[00:04:38] quick. 461 Bruce Springsteen comes out
[00:04:41] with a new song and I just I'm so
[00:04:43] infuriated by it. 461
[00:04:48] [music]
[00:04:48] >> stands
[00:04:56] [music]
[00:04:58] of those who died on the streets of
[00:05:01] Minneapolis.
[00:05:04] >> All right. So, he says he's going to
[00:05:05] they've been roaming and killing and
[00:05:07] they're going to remember the names of
[00:05:09] Renee Good and Alex Prey, the people who
[00:05:11] died. And I and it just occurs to me,
[00:05:14] what about where's the song for Joselyn
[00:05:16] Nungri? Where's the where's the song for
[00:05:18] Rachel Moore? Where's the song for Lake
[00:05:20] and Riley? The selective outrage just
[00:05:23] absolutely infuriates me and I'm so
[00:05:25] ticked off about it because it's just
[00:05:27] pure propaganda.
[00:05:29] >> I didn't know Bruce was still relevant.
[00:05:31] >> He's not.
[00:05:32] >> So I I don't really care. I mean, he the
[00:05:34] guy is so ridiculous. He doesn't
[00:05:36] represent any values that the that that
[00:05:39] America bleeds in today. Uh and so he to
[00:05:42] me I never never liked his songs
[00:05:44] anyways. He's just every even more
[00:05:46] irrelevant to me now.
[00:05:47] >> Blake's a huge fan.
[00:05:48] >> I'm a big hate. No, I'm a big hater. Uh
[00:05:50] no, it's just it's it shows the they
[00:05:53] very much have they all just really wish
[00:05:56] it was still 1962. They all want to be
[00:05:59] writing protest anthems to overthrow Jim
[00:06:01] Crow. And the truth is we got rid of
[00:06:04] that a half century ago. Thank goodness.
[00:06:06] >> Would you call it civil rights?
[00:06:07] >> It's like envy.
[00:06:09] >> It's civil rights envy. Yeah. It's like
[00:06:10] they we got rid of that more than half a
[00:06:12] century ago. Thank goodness. And they've
[00:06:14] just been trying to recapture it ever
[00:06:15] since. And it comes at the cost of just
[00:06:17] labeling America an evil country, which
[00:06:19] it's clearly not.
[00:06:20] >> And our brave men and women in ICE, man.
[00:06:23] I I just they that is such a tough job.
[00:06:26] Screw this guy. Honestly, absolute
[00:06:28] garbage human.
[00:06:29] >> I So I just
[00:06:31] >> I mean, you're upset that ICE is doing
[00:06:33] the job.
[00:06:35] I mean, they're literally doing their
[00:06:36] job. They're enforcing federal law, and
[00:06:37] you're upset by that. I don't I don't
[00:06:39] understand it.
