[00:00:22] reject malice Franklin Roosevelt who [00:00:26] inspired us to reject [00:00:28] fear I rever this office but I love my [00:00:32] country more it's been the honor of my [00:00:35] life to serve as your [00:00:37] president but in the defense of [00:00:39] democracy which is at stake I think is [00:00:42] more important than any [00:00:43] title I draw strength and I find joy in [00:00:47] working for the American people but this [00:00:49] sacred [00:00:50] task of perfecting our Union is not [00:00:54] about me it's about you your families [00:00:58] your futures it's about we the [00:01:01] people we can never forget that and I [00:01:05] never [00:01:06] have I've made it clear that I believe [00:01:09] America is at an inflection point one of [00:01:12] those rare moments in history when the [00:01:14] decisions we make now will determine our [00:01:17] fate of our nation and the world for [00:01:20] decades to [00:01:21] come America's going to have to choose [00:01:24] between moving forward or backward [00:01:27] between hope and Hate between unity and [00:01:31] division we have to decide do we still [00:01:34] believe in honesty decency [00:01:37] respect freedom justice and [00:01:40] democracy in this [00:01:42] moment we can see those we disagree with [00:01:45] not as enemies but as as fellow [00:01:48] Americans can we do that does character [00:01:51] and public life still [00:01:53] matter I believe I know the answer to [00:01:55] these questions because I know you the [00:01:58] American people and I know this we are a [00:02:02] great nation because we are good [00:02:05] people when you elected me to this [00:02:08] office I promise to always level with [00:02:11] you to tell you the [00:02:14] truth and the truth the sacred cause of [00:02:18] this country is larger than any one of [00:02:20] us and those of us who chry that cause [00:02:24] cherish it so much a cause of American [00:02:26] democracy itself must unite to [00:02:30] protected you know in recent weeks it's [00:02:33] become clear to me that I need to unite [00:02:36] my party in this critical Endeavor I [00:02:39] believe my record as president my [00:02:43] leadership in the world my vision for [00:02:45] America's [00:02:46] future all merited a second term but [00:02:50] nothing nothing can come in the way of [00:02:53] saving our [00:02:55] democracy that includes personal [00:02:58] ambition so I've decided to the best way [00:03:00] forward is the pass the torch to a new [00:03:04] generation that's the best way to unite [00:03:06] our [00:03:07] nation you know there is a time and a [00:03:09] place for long years of experience in [00:03:12] public life there's also a time and a [00:03:15] place for new voices fresh I'm going to keep working to [00:05:11] end the war in Gaza bring home all the [00:05:13] hostages and bring peace and security to [00:05:16] the Middle East and end this [00:05:18] war we're also working around the clock [00:05:20] to bring home Americans being unjustly [00:05:22] detained all around the [00:05:25] world you know we've come so far since [00:05:29] minor [00:05:30] uration on that day I told you as I [00:05:33] stood in that winter we stood in a [00:05:35] winter of peril and a winter of [00:05:39] possibilities parent [00:05:42] possibilities we're in the grip of the [00:05:44] we were in the grip of the worst [00:05:45] pandemic in the century the worst [00:05:48] economic crisis since the Great [00:05:50] Depression the worst attack on our [00:05:52] democracy since the Civil [00:05:55] War we came together as [00:05:57] Americans we got through it [00:06:00] we emerge stronger more prosperous and [00:06:02] more secure today we have the strongest [00:06:05] economy in the world creating nearly 16 [00:06:07] million new jobs at record wages are up [00:06:11] inflation continues to come down the [00:06:13] racial wealth Gap is the lowest has been [00:06:15] in 20 years we're literally rebuilding [00:06:18] our entire nation Urban Suburban Rural [00:06:20] and tribal communities manufacturing has [00:06:23] come back to America we're leading the [00:06:25] world again in chips and Science and [00:06:27] innovation [00:06:29] we finally beat big Farm after all these [00:06:32] years to lower the cost of prescription [00:06:34] drugs for seniors and I'm going to keep [00:06:36] fighting to make sure we lower the cost [00:06:38] for everyone not just [00:06:40] seniors more people have health care [00:06:42] today in America than ever [00:06:44] before and I sign one of the most [00:06:46] significant laws helping millions of [00:06:48] veterans and their families who are [00:06:50] exposed to toxic [00:06:53] materials we've never fully lived up to [00:08:12] it to this sacred idea but we've never [00:08:15] walked away from it either and I do not [00:08:18] believe the American people will walk [00:08:19] away from America is [00:10:21] here Kings and dictators do not rule the [00:10:25] people [00:10:26] do history is in your hands [00:10:29] the power is in your hands the idea of [00:10:32] America lies in your [00:10:34] hands we just have to keep Faith keep [00:10:37] the faith and remember who we are we're [00:10:40] the United States of America and there's [00:10:42] simply nothing nothing beyond our [00:10:45] capacity when we do it together so let's [00:10:48] act together preserve our [00:10:51] democracy God bless you all may God [00:10:54] protect our troops thank you [00:11:01] well there was the president of the [00:11:03] United States we think speaking kind of [00:11:07] about why he dropped out of the [00:11:08] presidential race there were no answers [00:11:10] there there are no answers at all [00:11:12] leading up to the speech the big [00:11:14] question was going to be why the [00:11:15] president of the United States was going [00:11:16] to explain why he was dropping out was [00:11:18] he doing so for health reasons it was [00:11:20] perfectly evident from that speech that [00:11:21] the president is failing that he is [00:11:23] fading that is perfectly obvious to [00:11:25] everyone he could not make it through [00:11:28] that 11-minute televised speech right [00:11:31] there he could not make it through with [00:11:32] a teleprompter in front of him he [00:11:34] stumbled over his words he appeared that [00:11:37] he was beginning to fall asleep it is [00:11:39] perfectly obvious to everyone who is [00:11:41] watching that the reason why Joe Biden [00:11:42] dropped out of the race and that is that [00:11:44] he is in declining mental health that he [00:11:47] is in fact in the throws of some form of [00:11:50] senility that he is in the sunset period [00:11:53] of his life that is clear to everyone [00:11:55] who is watching that and yet he couldn't [00:11:57] say that and the reason that he couldn't [00:11:58] say that is because that would betray [00:12:01] the reality which is that he's been [00:12:02] lying about it for years that the media [00:12:04] have been lying about it for years that [00:12:06] K Harris his vice president has been [00:12:08] lying about it for years and so we're [00:12:09] all supposed to sit here in wrapped in [00:12:12] mystery as to why exactly he dropped out [00:12:16] did he do it because of Health we were [00:12:18] told by his own press secretary earlier [00:12:20] today he didn't do it because of health [00:12:21] so why else did he do it well presumably [00:12:24] because he was losing presumably because [00:12:27] he was losing it is that simple it's [00:12:31] that simple now the fact is that the [00:12:34] president of the United States tried to [00:12:36] make the case that this election is [00:12:38] simply too important for him to be in it [00:12:40] he laid out a giant case as to why he's [00:12:42] the greatest president that we've ever [00:12:44] seen that he's accomplished so much and [00:12:46] he has so much more to accomplish and [00:12:48] yet he was writing at 32% in the [00:12:50] approval ratings and he was getting [00:12:51] skunked by President Trump in the polls [00:12:53] and that's the real reason he dropped [00:12:55] out and so the message that he put forth [00:12:58] tonight the message that he put forth is [00:13:00] that this election was too important for [00:13:02] him to be in [00:13:04] it somehow he was not willing to allow [00:13:07] the people to speak on his presidency [00:13:09] instead he was raw early and he was [00:13:12] going to do so because he was unpopular [00:13:14] so again this leaves a bunch of [00:13:15] questions unanswered why was he so [00:13:17] unpopular it wasn't merely because of [00:13:19] his senility it was obviously because of [00:13:20] his policies why exactly is he giving [00:13:23] way to a vice president who's going to [00:13:25] mirror all of those policies and why [00:13:28] does he keep saying that this is all [00:13:29] about preservation of democracy why does [00:13:32] he keep say saying that I mean the fact [00:13:33] of the matter is that if Joe Biden [00:13:35] wanted the American public to give a [00:13:37] referendum on him and his presidency he [00:13:39] could have just stayed in the race he [00:13:41] could have and he did not he did not [00:13:44] stay in the race instead he dropped he [00:13:47] said the offensive democracy which is [00:13:49] its stake is more important than any [00:13:51] title that it's bigger than his [00:13:53] ego and yet again his defense of [00:13:57] democracy amounted to in this speech an [00:13:59] explanation that he was going to rewrite [00:14:01] the rules of the Supreme Court that he [00:14:04] was going to make clear that the current [00:14:07] status of our institutions is no good he [00:14:10] suggested that America is at an [00:14:12] inflection point where the fate of our [00:14:13] nation and the world is at stake and [00:14:14] that we'll have to choose between moving [00:14:16] forward or backward between hope and [00:14:17] hate between unity and Division and that [00:14:20] if in fact presumably kamla Harris were [00:14:22] rejected it would be rejection of [00:14:24] honesty decency respect freedom justice [00:14:26] and democracy those are the words that [00:14:27] he used honesty and Comm Harris is not [00:14:30] an honest person decency she's certainly [00:14:32] not a decent person respect respect for [00:14:34] what Freedom she's certainly not in [00:14:36] favor of freedom from government Justice [00:14:39] and by Justice KLA Harris means tribal [00:14:42] social justice or democracy she's [00:14:44] certainly not in favor of the idea that [00:14:46] here the people rule as opposed to say [00:14:48] government bureaucrats and agencies but [00:14:51] again the case that Joe Biden has been [00:14:52] making did not change one iota in this [00:14:55] withdrawal speech we know nothing about [00:14:58] why he withdrew if you were an alien you [00:14:59] traveled down to earth and this is the [00:15:01] first speech you saw from President [00:15:02] Biden you would have no idea what in the [00:15:04] hell he is talking about he just kept [00:15:06] coming back to this platitude over and [00:15:08] over and over and over that effectively [00:15:11] speaking democracy was at stake that [00:15:13] democracy would be overthrown and yet he [00:15:15] did nothing to actually explain why that [00:15:17] was the case or why that necessitated [00:15:19] him dropping out the only reference he [00:15:22] made to why he dropped out was he said [00:15:25] that it was clear to him he needed to [00:15:26] unite his party in this critical [00:15:27] Endeavor so he blamed other people in [00:15:28] his party he basically says in the [00:15:30] speech he was stabbed in the back by his [00:15:31] own party and the only way to get his [00:15:33] party together in order to run against [00:15:35] Donald Trump was for him to step out of [00:15:37] the picture he says that his record as [00:15:39] president and leadership in the world [00:15:41] all merited a second term that's a [00:15:42] direct quote from him that his record as [00:15:44] president and his leadership in the [00:15:46] world merited a second term but he said [00:15:48] nothing could come in the way of [00:15:50] democracy and that included personal [00:15:52] ambition so instead he decided he was [00:15:54] going to pass the torch to a new [00:15:56] generation as the best way to unite the [00:15:57] nation he said it was time for new [00:16:00] voices fresher voices younger voices [00:16:02] that time in place is now question why [00:16:03] wasn't that time in place three years [00:16:05] ago hell why wasn't the time in place [00:16:07] four years ago when he was running for [00:16:08] president and it was clear that he was [00:16:09] in a declining State [00:16:13] why the biggest remaining question from [00:16:15] this speech because again Joe Biden is [00:16:17] now a thing of the past he's a relic of [00:16:18] the past it doesn't matter he is no [00:16:19] longer of any import whatsoever because [00:16:22] Joe Biden has been cast out the [00:16:24] Democratic party has cast him out but he [00:16:27] is remaining president so here is my [00:16:28] question after watching Joe Biden speak [00:16:31] do you think that that man has the [00:16:34] capacity to be the president of the [00:16:35] United States right now today if you do [00:16:39] how he could not get through a sentence [00:16:42] from a televised speech that was [00:16:43] supposed to be the Apex of his [00:16:46] career he said over the next six months [00:16:48] I'll be focused on doing my job as [00:16:50] president and then he just gave a Litany [00:16:52] of wrote Nonsense about how he's going [00:16:54] to solve climate change and he was going [00:16:56] to stop the war in Ukraine and he's [00:16:57] going to solve all the problems in the [00:16:58] Gaza and all of the rest but does that [00:17:01] seem like the kind of man who's capable [00:17:02] of holding it together for another 6 [00:17:04] months and if not where is Vice [00:17:07] President Kamala Harris who has the [00:17:08] signal ability to OU him from the office [00:17:10] by invoking the 25th Amendment today [00:17:13] that's how the 25th Amendment Works [00:17:15] section four of the 25th amendment [00:17:17] allows her along with the majority of [00:17:18] the cabinet to say he is no longer fit [00:17:20] to hold the presidency and should become [00:17:22] the president today but she's not doing [00:17:23] that instead she's allowing him to [00:17:25] continue to run the show or Jill to run [00:17:28] the show or who ever to run the show [00:17:30] because that man is not in charge that [00:17:33] man is not in charge now again he did [00:17:36] give a bit of an endorsement to kamla [00:17:38] Harris he said in just a few months the [00:17:40] American people will choose the course [00:17:41] of America's future and he called kamla [00:17:43] Harris experienced tough capable he said [00:17:46] she was a leader of the country but in [00:17:48] the end the biggest thing that he said [00:17:50] over and over is that this was a [00:17:51] republic and it would turn into some [00:17:53] sort of dictatorship if Donald Trump was [00:17:54] elected he finished by saying let's act [00:17:57] together to preserve our democracy [00:17:59] that's maybe the biggest lie of all that [00:18:00] if you votee for Kamala Harris somehow [00:18:02] democracy has been preserved and if you [00:18:03] vote for opponent democracy has been [00:18:05] overthrown and it's precisely that lie [00:18:08] that leads people to think that it is a [00:18:10] good idea to take a shot at your [00:18:12] rival you want to know why there is an [00:18:14]
