[00:14:16] At Turning Point USA, we say that
[00:14:18] chapters change the world.
[00:14:35] We are Americans and we are going to
[00:14:38] win.

[00:14:50] Rumble, which you and I really care
[00:14:51] about, is ascending. I think there's
[00:14:54] some chatter already in Silicon Valley
[00:14:55] of what are we going to do about these
[00:14:56] Rumble guys?
[00:14:58] >> Charlie was one of the few that really
[00:15:00] did it for for the purpose of forwarding
[00:15:04] free speech. the actual idea of like
[00:15:06] doing something great for America.
[00:15:12] >> The Charlie Kirk show is not going
[00:15:14] anywhere. My husband's voice will live
[00:15:17] on.
[00:15:18] We will never be silenced.
[00:15:22] [Applause]
[00:15:32] [Applause]
[00:15:37] Do you want to change the country?
[00:15:38] >> We are turning for USA's national field
[00:15:40] program
[00:15:41] >> and we're hiring.
[00:15:42] >> Are you looking for a challenging
[00:15:43] career?
[00:15:44] >> Something you can grow with in an
[00:15:45] everanging world.
[00:15:47] >> Look, this isn't just a job, it's a
[00:15:49] journey of development with the
[00:15:50] mentorship to guide you through.
[00:15:52] >> Join an organization where your warrior
[00:15:54] spirit isn't just welcome, it's
[00:15:56] essential.
[00:15:56] >> The one thing we can promise you is that
[00:15:58] this is a career that will never get
[00:15:59] boring. Just ask our biggest fans. So,
[00:16:02] what does the field program do?
[00:16:03] >> We are recruiting the next generation of
[00:16:05] American conservative leaders.
[00:16:07] >> We give high school and college students
[00:16:09] the necessary resources to start
[00:16:11] successful chapters.
[00:16:12] >> We are the boots in the ground doing the
[00:16:14] hard work no one else will attempt.
[00:16:16] >> Whether that's deep in the south or all
[00:16:18] the way in California.
[00:16:19] >> We plan to host thousands of chapter
[00:16:21] events across the nation.
[00:16:23] >> Many of our staff in leadership
[00:16:24] positions were former chapter leaders
[00:16:26] and alumni of Turning Point USA. We
[00:16:28] mentor passionate young conservatives
[00:16:30] who love their country.
[00:16:32] >> Join us
[00:16:32] >> late to bed, early to rise,
[00:16:34] >> work like hell, and organize.
[00:16:43] >> We're we're active in about 15 campuses
[00:16:45] and we're growing very very quickly. And
[00:16:47] keep in mind, this is not just a flash
[00:16:48] in the pan movement. Uh we're going to
[00:16:50] become an institution to give them the
[00:16:52] power and the confidence to stand up and
[00:16:54] let their voice be heard.
[00:16:55] >> When I first started this, I was 18. No
[00:16:58] idea what I was doing, no connections,
[00:17:00] no money, unlimited energy, enthusiasm,
[00:17:03] and I actually thought this was
[00:17:04] possible, which was kind of crazy if you
[00:17:07] think about it. Only in America would an
[00:17:09] 18-year-old with no idea what he was
[00:17:12] doing, literally no idea, be able to
[00:17:13] walk the halls of the Republican
[00:17:15] National Convention give out business
[00:17:17] cards to every human being that I made
[00:17:19] on a little topographical printer say
[00:17:21] our we are losing our country. Young
[00:17:24] people are the answer. We need to do
[00:17:25] more on college campuses.
[00:17:28] I want our Turning Point USA students to
[00:17:30] receive a round of applause. These are
[00:17:32] the freedom fighters of America. This is
[00:17:34] the greatest generational realignment
[00:17:37] since Woodstock. What they're doing is
[00:17:39] one of the hardest things to do in the
[00:17:41] United States of America. They are
[00:17:42] deciding to be less popular on campus.
[00:17:45] They are deciding to actually speak out
[00:17:48] with a high social cost. They're
[00:17:50] deciding even though it might jeopardize
[00:17:52] their job, their career or their
[00:17:54] reputation to put their country over
[00:17:56] themselves.
[00:17:57] >> I used to be a Bernie Sanders supporter.
[00:18:00] It was one of your video that really
[00:18:02] woke me up and then you're an
[00:18:04] inspiration. Awesome. Thank you.
[00:18:06] >> You are why I do what I do.
[00:18:08] >> So, which way you leaning? I get ahead.
[00:18:11] >> That's a good answer.
[00:18:13] >> Be welcoming. Even if people have
[00:18:15] different viewpoints, be open. You guys
[00:18:17] on the front lines, starting Turning
[00:18:18] Point USA high school chapters, starting
[00:18:20] Turning Point USA chapters. You are on
[00:18:22] the front lines of saving this country.
[00:18:24] And you look around, our numbers are
[00:18:26] increasing. We are happier. We are
[00:18:28] joyful. We love the nation. College
[00:18:30] campuses should be a marketplace of
[00:18:32] ideas where you can have debate and
[00:18:34] dialogue and discussion where you can
[00:18:35] hear something that is different than
[00:18:37] the point of view that you're entering
[00:18:38] with.
[00:18:39] >> Every day you get to fight for what is
[00:18:40] good and what is true and beautiful. You
[00:18:42] are doing something that is bigger than
[00:18:44] you.
[00:18:47] Turning point will live longer than me.
[00:18:48] That's my mission.
[00:19:08] >> Hi folks, you may be hearing a lot about
[00:19:10] why refi these days.
[00:19:11] >> Student loans are now sitting at 1.8 8
[00:19:15] trillion.
[00:19:16] >> You need to talk to Y Refi and they
[00:19:18] don't care what your credit score is.
[00:19:20] >> My partner and I created this company
[00:19:21] with the intention of taking it to help
[00:19:23] borrowers get out of debt.
[00:19:24] >> Why Refi is the only company in the
[00:19:26] country that does what we do.
[00:19:27] >> I think very highly Y refi. We're all in
[00:19:29] with them.
[00:19:29] >> We invited God into our homes. We invite
[00:19:31] him into our company. We want to make it
[00:19:33] an incentive for you to want to work
[00:19:34] with Yi.
[00:19:35] >> We give these folks the dignity to pay
[00:19:38] back their debt.
[00:19:40] Please welcome the chief investment
[00:19:42] officer and managing partner of Y Refi,
[00:19:45] Lane Shoberger.
[00:19:49] [Music]
[00:19:53] Hello there.
[00:19:56] Wow, what a great crowd. I can feel the
[00:19:58] energy. I can feel the excitement and
[00:20:00] the momentum. Say again.
[00:20:06] >> Hey, welcome here to this amazing event.
[00:20:09] Uh, you know, we're we're really proud
[00:20:11] to sponsor this amazing tour for Turning
[00:20:14] Point. What an opportunity. So, I'd like
[00:20:16] to say thank you to the Turning Point
[00:20:18] folks for allowing us that opportunity.
[00:20:21] My name is Lane Shamberger. I'm the
[00:20:22] chief investment officer and founding
[00:20:23] partner at Y Refi. And, you know, our
[00:20:26] mission is very simple. To help people
[00:20:29] get out of probably one of the most
[00:20:31] crushing financial situations they may
[00:20:34] ever experience, student loan debt. As
[00:20:37] you heard on this video, student loan
[00:20:39] debt is $1.8
[00:20:41] trillion dollar. It affects 45 million
[00:20:44] Americans.
[00:20:46] I'm sure there's some of you out there
[00:20:47] that have some student loan debt. So,
[00:20:50] I'd like to just talk about that for a
[00:20:52] quick second. Our mission is simple. We
[00:20:53] came up with a way to help you get out
[00:20:55] of your student loan debt quickly,
[00:20:57] affordably, and a manageable solution
[00:21:00] with dignity. Okay? No more predatory
[00:21:03] lending. Got to get rid of that. Tired
[00:21:05] of it.
[00:21:08] So, I I invite you to take a moment and
[00:21:11] visit us at yrefi.com. Check it out if
[00:21:13] you're if you're a borrower. But I want
[00:21:15] to just address something really quick.
[00:21:16] You know, as a young person, you have
[00:21:18] dreams. You have goals, right? You're
[00:21:20] here trying to make yourself a better
[00:21:22] person. Uh get the education and those
[00:21:25] dreams. And if you're not dreaming, you
[00:21:26] need to start dreaming. Okay? Dream big.
[00:21:28] I want you to dream big. But those
[00:21:30] dreams, they come with a price tag
[00:21:32] sometimes. And those price tags can be
[00:21:34] very hefty and they can follow you for
[00:21:35] decades. Our job is to help you get out
[00:21:38] of that debt because I want to just
[00:21:40] leave you at this. You don't we don't
[00:21:42] define you by your student loan debt.
[00:21:45] You are not defined by that. You are not
[00:21:48] just a number. You are a human being and
[00:21:50] you have goals. And we we hear those
[00:21:52] stories all the time at Y refi. They
[00:21:54] call in and people talk to us and the
[00:21:57] you know student loan debt ruins
[00:21:58] families. It ruins futures. It ruins
[00:22:00] your freedom. So, we want to get you out
[00:22:02] of debt quick. That's what we do at Y
[00:22:04] Refi. Okay. Now, to those capitalists
[00:22:07] out there, the folks that are looking
[00:22:09] for a way to help, we raise all of our
[00:22:12] capital by working with indiv
[00:22:14] individuals. We don't do anything with
[00:22:16] with uh institutions. So, if you're an
[00:22:18] accredited investor and you're looking
[00:22:20] to do well by doing good, which is our
[00:22:22] motto, it's what we do. Okay? Give us a
[00:22:25] look at investyrei.com.
[00:22:28] That's invest the letter yfy.com.
[00:22:32] It'll give you an opportunity to to jump
[00:22:34] on the bandwagon and help us with our
[00:22:36] mission. Now, I'm going to end on a
[00:22:39] couple of things. First, I'd like to say
[00:22:42] I had a I had the privilege of of having
[00:22:45] a very good friend by the name of
[00:22:46] Charlie Kirk who took
[00:22:50] [Applause]
[00:22:56] Thank you. very special human being as
[00:22:58] you all know and and he saw something in
[00:23:01] Wy Rei and it was big and it was because
[00:23:03] of his willingness to get behind us and
[00:23:06] support us. It gave us that drive to get
[00:23:08] up and continue to do what we do every
[00:23:10] single day. So, I'd just like to say
[00:23:14] thank you again to Charlie for for
[00:23:15] looking out for Yi for for believing in
[00:23:17] who we are and what we do uh and
[00:23:20] allowing us this opportunity.
[00:23:24] I'm going to end with saying uh I I had
[00:23:27] the privilege yesterday a few days ago
[00:23:29] of going to the the White House and
[00:23:30] watching the presentation of the Medal
[00:23:32] of Freedom. What an what an amazing
[00:23:40] I I don't even know what to say about
[00:23:41] that. After afterwards, I had the
[00:23:44] privilege of visiting with Erica for a
[00:23:45] few minutes and she showed me the medal
[00:23:47] and on the back is the cross that they
[00:23:49] engraved and she shared that that's not
[00:23:51] something that they do that they did it
[00:23:52] for Charlie because he believed in God
[00:23:54] and Jesus and and he is home and and I
[00:23:57] want to just say thank you very much to
[00:23:59] him and Turning Point and everybody
[00:24:01] again because this is a real real
[00:24:02] pleasure. So, I'm going to end with
[00:24:05] this. God bless America. God bless you.
[00:24:13] God bless yi Oklahoma State. Enjoy the
[00:24:17] show tonight everybody. Thank you.
[00:24:19] [Applause]
[00:24:25] >> Ladies and gentlemen, please rise for
[00:24:27] the national anthem and join me in
[00:24:29] welcoming Alexis Wilkins to the stage.
[00:24:42] Hi everyone. Please feel free to sing
[00:24:44] along.
[00:24:46] I have the longest sustained cough from
[00:24:48] whatever is going around.
[00:24:51] Y'all know y'all are in college.
[00:24:57] Oh,
[00:24:58] say can you see
[00:25:04] by the dawn early
[00:25:10] what so proudly
[00:25:13] we held
[00:25:16] at the twilight
[00:25:19] last gleaming
[00:25:22] whose broad stripes and Bright stars
[00:25:28] through the perilous
[00:25:32] fight
[00:25:34] or the ri
[00:25:37] hearts we watched
[00:25:40] were so gallare
[00:25:45] [Music]
[00:25:53] the bombs bursting.
[00:25:56] in air
[00:25:59] gave proof through the night
[00:26:04] that our flag was still there.
[00:26:10] Oh, say does that star spankled
[00:26:16] B
[00:26:19] wave
[00:26:23] or the land
[00:26:26] of the free
[00:26:36] and the home
[00:26:39] of the
[00:26:43] brave.
[00:26:50] Thank y'all.
[00:26:55] Y'all sound great. Now, we've been doing
[00:26:57] something kind of fun at these uh at
[00:26:59] these stops here along the way. And I'm
[00:27:02] going to sing this next song if that's
[00:27:03] all right with y'all. If y'all sing
[00:27:05] along. Is that cool?
[00:27:07] >> All right. I know that you know it. So,
[00:27:09] don't worry. This is not a test.
[00:27:12] It's a little bit of a test, but I know
[00:27:13] that you know it.
[00:27:16] If tomorrow all the things were gone,
[00:27:20] I'd work for all my life and I had to
[00:27:24] start again with just my children and my
[00:27:28] wife. I thank my lucky stars
[00:27:32] to be living here today.
[00:27:36] Stands for freedom. And they can't take
[00:27:40] that away.
[00:27:45] And I'm proud to be an American where at
[00:27:49] least I know I'm free. And I won't
[00:27:53] forget the man who died, who gave that
[00:27:57] right to me. And I gladly stand up next.
[00:28:08] I love this land.
[00:28:11] God bless the USA.
[00:28:16] From the lakes of Minnesota
[00:28:19] to the hills of Tennessee,
[00:28:22] across the plains of Texas, from sea to
[00:28:26] shining sea, from Detroit down to
[00:28:31] Houston and New York to LA.
[00:28:35] There's pride in every American heart.
[00:28:38] And it's time we stand and say
[00:28:44] that I'm proud to be an Americ
[00:28:54] [Music]
[00:28:57] [Applause]
[00:29:07] [Music]
[00:29:10] bless the USA.
[00:29:14] [Music]
[00:29:21] Thank y'all so much for singing with me.
[00:29:23] God bless y'all. God bless America. God
[00:29:25] bless Charlie Kirk. Thank you so much.
[00:29:28] [Applause]
[00:29:39] >> Please welcome Governor Kevin Stit.
[00:29:43] [Music]
[00:29:51] [Music]
[00:29:59] [Applause]
[00:30:01] Oh man, it's great to be in Norman,
[00:30:04] Oklahoma tonight.
[00:30:09] >> Are you guys excited to hear from
[00:30:11] Russell Bran and Savannah Chrysley?
[00:30:14] [Applause]
[00:30:17] and I'm super pumped to be with all you
[00:30:19] guys. Thank you for giving me a few
[00:30:21] minutes to start this very important
[00:30:24] evening.
[00:30:25] First off, we hear a lot about how
[00:30:29] liberal or woke college campuses are.
[00:30:32] That may be true, but we're going to
[00:30:35] change that starting tonight.
[00:30:37] [Applause]
[00:30:44] What a great opportunity to celebrate
[00:30:47] the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk
[00:30:52] and
[00:30:54] [Applause]
[00:30:56] and engage in this idea that is so
[00:31:00] foundational to our country. It's called
[00:31:04] free speech.
[00:31:05] [Music]
[00:31:08] This this event was supposed to be in
[00:31:11] the fieldhouse, but it sold out. Sold
[00:31:13] out so quickly that they moved it right
[00:31:15] here to Lloyd Noble.
[00:31:19] You You guys You guys are amazing
[00:31:23] filling this up. And I know America is
[00:31:27] going to be all right. Just look around.
[00:31:31] Look around this room for just a second
[00:31:33] and it's filled with students who are
[00:31:35] committed to godly conservative
[00:31:39] principles.
[00:31:40] [Applause]
[00:31:47] And I'm telling you, Charlie would be so
[00:31:49] proud of the Turning Point chapter right
[00:31:52] here at the University of Oklahoma.
[00:32:04] There we go.
[00:32:06] [Music]
[00:32:08] >> He he would have celebrated his 32nd
[00:32:12] birthday just a few few days ago.
[00:32:16] During his time on earth, he created a
[00:32:19] legacy that honored God.
[00:32:22] And one of the last things that he said
[00:32:25] that he wanted to be remembered by was
[00:32:28] for his courage and for his faith.
[00:32:32] And Charlie knew his faith couldn't
[00:32:34] thrive in isolation.
[00:32:36] He knew that we weren't meant to do life
[00:32:39] alone.
[00:32:41] He was all about building community.
[00:32:44] And I like to say, let's let's do life
[00:32:46] together. It's so much more fun to do
[00:32:48] life with our friends.
[00:32:51] I want you to high-five your neighbor,
[00:32:53] the person to your left and the person
[00:32:54] to your right,
[00:32:59] and
[00:33:00] think about think about the people in
[00:33:03] your life that are around you, your
[00:33:06] roommates, your friends, your family.
[00:33:10] I want to ask you a question. Are they
[00:33:12] drawing you closer to the Lord? Are they
[00:33:15] making you bolder in your faith?
[00:33:18] And I love the story of Shadrach,
[00:33:21] Meshach, and Abedneo.
[00:33:23] These were three young Jewish men living
[00:33:26] under the Babylonian king
[00:33:28] Nebuchadnezzar.
[00:33:30] The king issued a decree that when the
[00:33:33] music played, everyone in the kingdom
[00:33:36] had to bow down and worship an idol.
[00:33:40] I was reading this passage and it struck
[00:33:42] me.
[00:33:44] How did they react when that music
[00:33:46] started to play? How would you react?
[00:33:51] If I was Shadrach, I I might have looked
[00:33:53] to my left or looked to my right or
[00:33:56] looked at my friend Mach or Abindigo and
[00:33:59] and wanted to know what they were going
[00:34:00] to do.
[00:34:02] We all knew the right thing to do. We
[00:34:04] all knew that it was wrong to bow to an
[00:34:06] idol.
[00:34:09] But it's so easy to go with the flow
[00:34:11] when you're standing by yourself. It's
[00:34:14] easy just to justify, I guess, inaction.
[00:34:19] But when those three young men looked at
[00:34:21] each other and they all nodded and they
[00:34:24] made the choice to do the right thing,
[00:34:28] to honor God, to not bow to this world,
[00:34:32] to be bold in their actions,
[00:34:35] the consequences were severe.
[00:34:40] The consequences were severe for Charlie
[00:34:43] Kirk.
[00:34:45] But let me tell you something.
[00:34:48] If you're living just for this world,
[00:34:50] you're missing what God has intended for
[00:34:53] you.
[00:34:56] [Applause]
[00:35:03] Mark 16:26 says, "What good will it do
[00:35:07] for someone to gain the whole world yet
[00:35:10] forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone
[00:35:13] give in exchange for their soul?"
[00:35:15] God blesses your obedience.
[00:35:18] The reason you need to do life in
[00:35:20] community is because it's easier to have
[00:35:23] a buddy in battle with you.
[00:35:25] Ecclesiastics 4:12 tells us, "Though one
[00:35:29] may be overpowered,
[00:35:32] two can defend themselves
[00:35:34] and a cord of three stand strands is not
[00:35:37] quickly broken."
[00:35:39] I want you to fight isolation in your
[00:35:43] generation.
[00:35:44] Find friends who are running after God
[00:35:47] and living their lives to glorify him. I
[00:35:50] want you to encourage each other to
[00:35:52] choose.
[00:35:54] Choose boldness to choose righteousness.
[00:35:59] All of you in this room are deciding
[00:36:01] what you want your future to be.
[00:36:04] What are your dreams?
[00:36:07] What are the desires that God has placed
[00:36:09] on your heart?
[00:36:11] This reminds me of a story of 12 young
[00:36:14] men that were sp sent out to spy on the
[00:36:17] promised land.
[00:36:19] These were the Navy Seals of their
[00:36:22] generation.
[00:36:24] The elite of elite, the creme de la
[00:36:26] creme. They were the absolute studs of
[00:36:29] their generation.
[00:36:31] All 12 of them. There was no difference
[00:36:33] in them physically. They were all studs.
[00:36:36] 10 of them came back with group think.
[00:36:40] They focused on the negative. They came
[00:36:42] back and said, "They're stronger than we
[00:36:45] are. The land devours those living in
[00:36:48] it. We look like grasshoppers in their
[00:36:51] sight.
[00:36:53] But two of them, Caleb and Joshua,
[00:36:57] they chose to trust the Lord. They chose
[00:37:00] boldness. Caleb came back and said, "We
[00:37:04] should go take it right now. We can do
[00:37:06] it."
[00:37:08] Let me tell you a story about my own
[00:37:10] life. When I was your age, I was in
[00:37:12] college. Hadn't even graduated yet. My
[00:37:15] mentor encouraged me to write my
[00:37:16] lifetime goals down. He said, "Just
[00:37:18] dream big. whatever comes out of your
[00:37:20] heart, try to write down 50 lifetime
[00:37:22] goals. So, I started writing them down
[00:37:25] and then out of my heart, it just came
[00:37:26] out. I'm like, well, I grew up in
[00:37:28] Oklahoma and man, I think it'd be cool.
[00:37:31] And I wrote down become governor of
[00:37:33] Oklahoma.
[00:37:40] >> There there's more to that story. I I
[00:37:44] was sitting there thinking, there's no
[00:37:46] way my parents weren't rich. We weren't
[00:37:48] political. I didn't know anybody that
[00:37:51] was in politics. It just seemed too big.
[00:37:54] So, here's what I did. I erased it and I
[00:37:57] wrote, "Have dinner with the governor.
[00:38:02] Now, I get to have breakfast, lunch, and
[00:38:04] dinner with the governor."
[00:38:07] 20 years later, that dream came back
[00:38:10] alive in my heart.
[00:38:12] I was so scared. And I had these voices
[00:38:15] in my head saying, "You can't do that.
[00:38:17] Why do you think you can become
[00:38:19] governor?"
[00:38:20] And I want to challenge you today.
[00:38:23] If God puts a dream in your heart,
[00:38:27] there's always going to be people
[00:38:28] that'll tell you you can't do it. But
[00:38:30] I'm here to tell you, when God's for
[00:38:33] you, who can be against you?
[00:38:36] [Applause]
[00:38:44] So, I want you to challenge you. I want
[00:38:47] you to go after bold things. You're only
[00:38:50] limited by your imagination.
[00:38:54] Let me put a bow on this story.
[00:38:57] Nobody remembers the 10 weak-minded
[00:39:00] people. We don't even know their names.
[00:39:04] They didn't stand for anything.
[00:39:07] But we remember Caleb and Joshua.
[00:39:10] We remember Charlie Kirk
[00:39:12] because he stood for something.
[00:39:23] We remember President Trump for his
[00:39:26] boldness and fighting.
[00:39:35] President Trump just did an unbelievable
[00:39:37] peace deal in Israel and brought the
[00:39:43] brought the hostages home.
[00:39:45] [Applause]
[00:39:47] Let me tell you something. You're not
[00:39:49] going to wake up at 30 and all of a
[00:39:51] sudden say, "All right, it's time for me
[00:39:53] to be bold." Doesn't happen that way.
[00:39:57] Today at 18, 19, 20, how however old you
[00:40:00] are, you have to choose what battles
[00:40:03] you're willing to fight for, what issues
[00:40:06] you're willing to fight for.
[00:40:09] When you walk into my office, the
[00:40:11] governor's office, right there on the
[00:40:12] left on the wall, when you walk in is
[00:40:15] the scripture Joshua 24:15,
[00:40:18] and it says, "As for me, in my house, we
[00:40:21] will serve the Lord.
[00:40:24] [Music]
[00:40:25] [Applause]
[00:40:32] The rest of that story, 40 years later,
[00:40:34] all 10 of the no-name guys had died. But
[00:40:38] Caleb and Joshua, Joshua became the
[00:40:41] leader that took him to the promised
[00:40:42] land. Caleb arrived in the promised land
[00:40:46] at 85 years old. And he asked Joshua, he
[00:40:50] told his buddy Joshua, he said, "Give me
[00:40:53] the mountain with the giants."
[00:40:56] Because he knew God was with him. That's
[00:40:58] how he said it. Joshua 14:12, he says,
[00:41:00] "Now give me this hill country that the
[00:41:02] Lord promised me that day. You yourself
[00:41:06] heard then that the giants were there
[00:41:08] and their cities were large and
[00:41:09] fortified, but the Lord helping me, I
[00:41:13] will drive them out just as he said."
[00:41:16] Caleb had the heart of a conqueror when
[00:41:18] he was 20, when he was 40, and when he
[00:41:21] was 85. He knew that God wasn't going to
[00:41:25] let him down. I know God will never let
[00:41:27] you down.
[00:41:30] [Applause]
[00:41:36] And in closing,
[00:41:38] remember it's easier to fight your
[00:41:40] battles with a buddy, with a community.
[00:41:43] Surround yourself with like-minded
[00:41:46] people who will face the challenges of
[00:41:48] life with you.
[00:41:51] And nobody remembers the guy who stands
[00:41:53] down. So be the one who steps out boldly
[00:41:56] and stands up for what's right just as
[00:41:59] Charlie did and just as Erica is doing
[00:42:02] today.
[00:42:04] We all have that same choice as Meshach,
[00:42:07] Shadrach, and Abedneo and Joshua and
[00:42:10] Caleb did. You can change the trajectory
[00:42:14] of this university, of our nation, if
[00:42:18] you reject passivity
[00:42:20] and you choose boldness.
[00:42:22] It's what Charlie would have wanted you
[00:42:24] to do.
[00:42:27] Keep fighting for your God-given
[00:42:29] freedoms.
[00:42:30] That's what makes our dreams possible.
[00:42:33] It's time to step out in boldness. It's
[00:42:36] time to chase your dreams. And I want to
[00:42:38] tell you this, no dream is out of reach.
[00:42:41] And no dream is dead until you give up.
[00:42:46] [Applause]
[00:42:54] Will you join me in prayer?
[00:43:01] Dear heavenly father,
[00:43:03] we come before you in the Lloyd Noble
[00:43:06] Center at the University of Oklahoma
[00:43:09] with hearts in unison that we want a
[00:43:12] move of God in OU
[00:43:16] in Norman Oklahoma in the state of
[00:43:18] Oklahoma and the United States of
[00:43:20] America. We ask you to come do a work in
[00:43:24] each and every heart here. Help us, Lord
[00:43:27] God, as we strive to do your will. Give
[00:43:30] us boldness to face the enemy. Lord,
[00:43:33] give us discernment with all the
[00:43:36] decisions that we have to make as all
[00:43:37] these young people are choosing the
[00:43:39] careers that you have for them. Just
[00:43:41] help them be led by your spirit. And we
[00:43:45] ask you to give us an eternal
[00:43:46] perspective. And we know that we don't
[00:43:48] live for this world, but we live for
[00:43:52] eternity. and we just thank you for what
[00:43:54] you're doing in the state of Oklahoma,
[00:43:56] in the lives of all these young people
[00:43:58] in this room. And we ask this all in the
[00:44:01] name of Jesus. Amen.
[00:44:11] >> I am really excited for the rest of this
[00:44:13] evening. You guys have some great
[00:44:16] speakers. Thank y'all so much for being
[00:44:18] here tonight. And I'll leave you with
[00:44:20] this. So proud to be an American, but I
[00:44:24] thank God every day I'm an Oklahoma. God
[00:44:26] bless you.
[00:44:34] >> Please welcome to the stage University
[00:44:36] of Oklahoma TPUSA Chapter President
[00:44:40] Caleb Magna.
[00:44:59] Boomer.
[00:45:02] >> We're still better than Texas.
[00:45:08] So, I wanted to start off by saying
[00:45:11] Charlie Kirk was set to speak on our
[00:45:12] campus today, but I am so incredibly
[00:45:15] honored to host the Turning Point USA
[00:45:17] tour at the University of Oklahoma.
[00:45:26] I want to thank you guys all for coming
[00:45:28] here tonight. Our chapter at the
[00:45:30] University of Oklahoma has been blown
[00:45:32] away by the response the community has
[00:45:34] shown. Whether that is good or bad,
[00:45:38] we've we've seen it all. So many people
[00:45:41] have been so kind and amazing. We'd like
[00:45:44] to take a moment to thank our security
[00:45:46] and law enforcement.
[00:45:50] [Applause]
[00:46:00] not only for their amazing help today,
[00:46:02] but for keeping us safe, but also for
[00:46:04] their diligence and hard work every day
[00:46:07] putting their lives on the line for us.
[00:46:11] [Applause]
[00:46:17] And I could not continue without
[00:46:18] thanking
[00:46:20] a few people instrumental in our
[00:46:22] chapter. All of our amazing chapter
[00:46:24] members, give yourself a round of
[00:46:26] applause.
[00:46:27] [Applause]
[00:46:32] Y'all have been there for us week in
[00:46:34] week out. Y'all have been so supportive.
[00:46:37] Turning Point USA staff incredibly
[00:46:39] especially
[00:46:41] willing to uh work with us, support us
[00:46:44] in our ambitious goals. And most of all,
[00:46:45] thank you to the Turning Point USA for
[00:46:47] supporting our chapter and giving us the
[00:46:49] resources and training to pull off an
[00:46:51] event this size.
[00:46:55] [Applause]
[00:47:01] >> Thank you, Gary.
[00:47:03] Our Prof our our faculty advisor is just
[00:47:06] amazing. I mean, it's just it's just
[00:47:07] we're really blessed. Gary Barkstdale,
[00:47:09] give him a round of applause, you know.
[00:47:12] [Applause]
[00:47:14] Yeah, we're just so blessed to have um
[00:47:17] uh teachers, faculty that support our
[00:47:19] chapter. It's just amazing. If you're
[00:47:22] interested in starting a TPUSA chapter,
[00:47:25] please check out the TPSUSA table at
[00:47:28] this event or go to the
[00:47:29] TPSUSA.com/getinvolved.
[00:47:31] We would love to help you get plugged
[00:47:33] in. Finally, we're encouraging you to
[00:47:35] attend our biggest event of the year,
[00:47:37] America Fest, this December in Phoenix,
[00:47:39] Arizona.
[00:47:47] And it's just I mean just with that
[00:47:49] being said, please join me in honoring
[00:47:52] Charlie Kirk by holding up your rally
[00:47:54] signs. That is our that is on your chair
[00:47:58] for a photo. If you don't have a sign,
[00:48:01] yell and give us the energy for Charlie.
[00:48:07] >> Everybody stand.
[00:48:13] Charlie Kirk.
[00:48:14] [Applause]
[00:48:20] Charlie
[00:48:34] >> and in light of And in light of Charlie
[00:48:36] Kirk's birthday two days ago, I would
[00:48:39] like for us for us all to sing Charlie
[00:48:41] Kirk happy birthday, marking his 32nd
[00:48:44] birthday.
[00:48:47] Stand and please take out your camera
[00:48:49] lights.
[00:48:59] Just beautiful. Charlie would have loved
[00:49:01] to see this.
[00:49:05] Hit it.
[00:49:08] Happy birthday
[00:49:11] to you.
[00:49:13] Happy birthday
[00:49:15] to you.
[00:49:18] Happy birthday,
[00:49:20] dear.
[00:49:24] Happy birthday
[00:49:27] to you.
[00:49:30] [Applause]
[00:49:34] >> Thank you guys all so much. And to
[00:49:36] anybody who feels like they don't have a
[00:49:38] place at the University of Oklahoma
[00:49:39] because they've been ousted for being a
[00:49:41] conservative, you have a place at our
[00:49:43] chapter. Thank you.
[00:49:49] [Music]
[00:49:51] >> Please welcome Savannah Chrisley.
[00:49:55] [Applause]
[00:50:05] [Music]
[00:50:13] What a day.
[00:50:16] [Applause]
[00:50:20] >> Before I start, I just want to thank the
[00:50:23] University of Oklahoma for the warm
[00:50:25] welcome. the signs, the posters, the
[00:50:29] trash cans with my face in them. Um,
[00:50:33] they're all beautiful. So, I've never
[00:50:36] felt, honestly, I've never felt so
[00:50:38] popular and recycled at the same time.
[00:50:43] But seriously, you guys, I love that you
[00:50:47] care enough to have an opinion. That's
[00:50:50] what freedom looks like. And before I
[00:50:53] get started, this is a little
[00:50:54] bittersweet for me.
[00:50:57] I when I got the email to come on tour,
[00:51:02] I was like a little kid on Christmas
[00:51:04] morning. I had gotten to meet Charlie a
[00:51:07] few times and the interactions I had
[00:51:10] with him changed my life. He gave me a
[00:51:13] voice when no one else would.
[00:51:17] And I was like, "Oh my gosh, yes." I
[00:51:20] they're like, "We want Savannah to open
[00:51:22] for Charlie." I was like, "Wait, what?"
[00:51:24] I was freaking out and
[00:51:29] then the unthinkable happened and I I
[00:51:34] didn't know how to handle it. I didn't
[00:51:36] know how to cope with it. And I know all
[00:51:39] of you guys are kind of in that same
[00:51:41] place right now. It's hard. It's It's
[00:51:44] hard when we have so many people spewing
[00:51:47] hateful rhetoric. And I'm dealing with
[00:51:49] that right now at my little sister's
[00:51:51] school, Lipkcom Academy in Nashville.
[00:51:54] 14 boys wanted to wear a red tie to Aror
[00:51:57] Charlie. And this is a Church of Christ
[00:51:59] school and they were forced to take it
[00:52:01] off because it was a dress code
[00:52:03] violation.
[00:52:05] And that's all because there are
[00:52:08] Democrats from the top down running this
[00:52:10] school. And these kids are now suffering
[00:52:13] because they didn't get the chance to
[00:52:15] honor Charlie how he should have been
[00:52:17] honored.
[00:52:19] But I just I want to be real with you.
[00:52:22] Lately, I have been in a really low
[00:52:24] place and I feel like a lot of people
[00:52:26] are afraid to say that they're not okay.
[00:52:29] And I think it's okay to not be okay all
[00:52:32] the time.
[00:52:34] The kind of
[00:52:36] I've been in the kind of place where you
[00:52:38] start to wonder, does my voice even
[00:52:40] matter? Is what I'm doing working? Am I
[00:52:43] really making a difference? And last
[00:52:46] night, God reminded me that he still
[00:52:49] sees me and he sent me a note.
[00:52:53] This note right here was given to me at
[00:52:57] a restaurant last night in Nashville. At
[00:53:00] dinner, two strangers, Scott and Jet, I
[00:53:03] hope to meet you guys someday,
[00:53:05] handed the server a handwritten note and
[00:53:07] it said, "Thank you for standing up for
[00:53:10] your family and our beliefs. God bless.
[00:53:16] [Applause]
[00:53:21] And then they quietly paid for my meal.
[00:53:24] And if you know me, you know I love
[00:53:26] food. So that was an expensive dinner.
[00:53:29] They had no idea though how much I
[00:53:32] needed that just in that moment. Because
[00:53:35] when you're fighting for truth,
[00:53:37] sometimes it feels lonely. But that
[00:53:39] simple act reminded me God still speaks.
[00:53:43] sometimes through thunder,
[00:53:46] but also through handwritten reminders
[00:53:48] that you're seen and still called. That
[00:53:51] card reminded me that this fight is
[00:53:54] never about fame or applause. It's about
[00:53:57] faithfulness. It's about people who
[00:54:00] still believe, who still choose courage
[00:54:03] when fear is easier. There are moments
[00:54:06] when you don't know where to turn. When
[00:54:09] the money's not there. When the courage
[00:54:12] is gone. When you feel completely
[00:54:15] unseen, but
[00:54:18] what you do have is conviction. And
[00:54:20] conviction is enough for God to move
[00:54:23] mountains.
[00:54:25] And then, as if to drive that message
[00:54:28] home, I saw something else yesterday
[00:54:30] that a lot of you guys saw. I saw a
[00:54:32] photo of a dumpster full of Turning
[00:54:35] Point posters, signs with my face on
[00:54:37] them. And that's the reason my dad
[00:54:40] hopped on a plane and flew from LA to
[00:54:42] here to make sure that I wasn't alone.
[00:54:46] [Applause]
[00:54:54] These posters were tossed away like
[00:54:57] garbage. Half the students here didn't
[00:55:00] want me or Turning Point USA here. They
[00:55:04] didn't want our voice, our values, our
[00:55:06] faith, or our presence. For a second, it
[00:55:10] kind of stung because let's be real,
[00:55:13] we're human. And after what happened to
[00:55:15] Charlie, it's scary to see something
[00:55:17] like that happening. But then God
[00:55:20] whispered, "What they meant to silence
[00:55:23] you, I'll use to strengthen you.
[00:55:31] So, you can throw my face in the trash,
[00:55:35] but you can't throw away the truth. You
[00:55:38] can rip up signs, but you can't rip up
[00:55:41] conviction. You can hate my presence,
[00:55:44] but you cannot cancel purpose.
[00:55:51] God has a funny way of using what the
[00:55:54] world discards to raise up warriors.
[00:55:57] What they meant for humiliation, he
[00:56:00] turned into motivation. What they meant
[00:56:02] to bury, he used to plant. And as I
[00:56:05] looked at those signs surrounded by
[00:56:07] garbage, I smiled because I realized you
[00:56:11] can throw away my image. But you can't
[00:56:14] silence the image of God that I know I
[00:56:16] carry.
[00:56:17] [Applause]
[00:56:22] And that's what this is really about.
[00:56:25] It's not about politics, but purpose.
[00:56:28] Standing for what you believe in will
[00:56:31] always cost you something. And if
[00:56:33] someone tells you otherwise, then they
[00:56:35] haven't stood up for anything.
[00:56:38] I've decided that I would rather stand
[00:56:40] alone in truth than sit comfortably in a
[00:56:44] lie.
[00:56:46] [Applause]
[00:56:56] So to every student who hated that I
[00:56:59] came here tonight, thank you. Your
[00:57:02] rejection is my confirmation. Your
[00:57:04] opposition proves that this mission
[00:57:07] still matters. This This is America, a
[00:57:11] nation where freedom of speech still
[00:57:14] exists, where faith still stands, and
[00:57:17] where truth doesn't bow, it rises. And I
[00:57:20] couldn't help but think, if Charlie were
[00:57:23] here, he would have smiled, too, because
[00:57:27] he knew the moment they try to silence
[00:57:29] you is the moment you know that you're
[00:57:32] speaking the truth.
[00:57:35] [Applause]
[00:57:40] I can't help but think that Charlie
[00:57:43] would tell us, "Let him throw away the
[00:57:46] signs. Just don't you dare throw away
[00:57:49] your courage."
[00:57:53] Almost
[00:57:54] almost three years ago, for people that
[00:57:56] don't know my story, my world was
[00:57:59] shattered. My parents, my absolute best
[00:58:02] friends, my co-workers, my everything.
[00:58:05] My dad knows more about his daughter's
[00:58:08] relationships than he ever should.
[00:58:12] My parents, they were taken from our
[00:58:15] home and sent to prison for a combined
[00:58:17] 19 years.
[00:58:22] And unfortunately, it wasn't just a
[00:58:24] headline. It was my life. Suddenly, I
[00:58:27] became mom, dad, sister, protector,
[00:58:31] caregiver all at once. And I had to do
[00:58:34] it while cameras and critics picked me
[00:58:36] apart. I was angry. Angry at the system,
[00:58:40] angry at the people who lied. And
[00:58:42] honestly, I was angry at God.
[00:58:44] But then, as God would do it, I felt
[00:58:48] like he spoke to me again and said,
[00:58:51] "Savannah, you can't fight evil with
[00:58:53] anger. You fight it with truth, and you
[00:58:56] win it with love." That night, I learned
[00:59:00] something.
[00:59:02] And this is a hard lesson for me because
[00:59:04] for people that know me, you know, I can
[00:59:05] be a little um tough around the edges.
[00:59:09] But I learned something. I can be strong
[00:59:13] and still be soft. I can be bold and
[00:59:16] still be kind. I can be feminine and
[00:59:19] still be fearless.
[00:59:21] Because femininity isn't a weakness.
[00:59:24] It's divine design.
[00:59:28] I know. Being a woman's pretty cool,
[00:59:31] right?
[00:59:33] If only everyone knew, you know, the
[00:59:37] difference between a man and a woman.
[00:59:41] But ladies, this one's for you, cuz I
[00:59:44] had to learn this lesson. You don't have
[00:59:47] to become hard to be powerful. You can
[00:59:50] be gentle and still lead armies. You can
[00:59:54] cry and still conquer. That's what godly
[00:59:57] womanhood looks like. After one of my
[01:00:00] speeches, the sweet and loving and
[01:00:03] gracious, God-fearing Erica Kirk sent me
[01:00:06] a text. Savannah, you have a massive
[01:00:10] anointing on your life.
[01:00:12] And she has no idea what that text
[01:00:16] message did for me. Those words, they
[01:00:18] changed me. Because when you're walking
[01:00:21] through fire, you forget that you're
[01:00:23] chosen for a purpose. Erica's grace, her
[01:00:27] quiet power. That's what strength looks
[01:00:30] like. That's who Charlie believed in and
[01:00:33] that's who we should all strive to be.
[01:00:38] In the midst of our grieving, I want to
[01:00:40] remind you of a prayer and it's a prayer
[01:00:43] that I prayed very often and it's called
[01:00:47] the I don't know prayer. It's when you
[01:00:50] come before God and whisper, I don't
[01:00:52] know what's next. I don't know how to
[01:00:54] carry this and I don't know why it hurts
[01:00:57] so bad because we're all hurting really
[01:01:00] bad. And then you say, "But you do, God.
[01:01:05] I don't know, but you do." That kind of
[01:01:08] prayer still moves his heart. That kind
[01:01:11] of surrender still moves mountains.
[01:01:14] That's how I've survived the past three
[01:01:16] years with a trembling voice saying,
[01:01:19] "But you do."
[01:01:21] Faith doesn't die when a purpose. Faith
[01:01:24] doesn't die when a person dies. It lives
[01:01:28] on in every heart that still believes in
[01:01:31] truth.
[01:01:32] I listened to Glenn Beck's Turning Point
[01:01:35] USA speech and he said, "Every
[01:01:37] generation must decide whether
