[00:00:03] attractive
[00:00:07] fighting Miami traffic to be here on a
[00:00:10] Friday and boy do we have a special
[00:00:12] treat in store for you look the fight
[00:00:15] against socialism and Marxism
[00:00:18] knows no borders I'll tell you what and
[00:00:21] we were experiencing it here in America
[00:00:23] and we're seeing it really take over the
[00:00:27] Western World and there are not enough
[00:00:29] Fighters that understand the threat of
[00:00:31] Marxism understand what it's trying to
[00:00:33] do which is to take away our private
[00:00:36] property to destroy our constitution to
[00:00:39] take away our regular norms and our way
[00:00:42] of life and in the last couple of years
[00:00:44] we have witnessed a populist movement
[00:00:47] that has really happened all across the
[00:00:50] world and in Brazil it's been one of the
[00:00:53] most amazing things to see and also
[00:00:55] frustrating in the last couple months
[00:00:57] and I'm sure you agree and I think there
[00:01:00] is there's so much more to the story
[00:01:03] than the media will ever acknowledge or
[00:01:05] admit especially of all the good that
[00:01:08] Brazil did the last couple of years
[00:01:10] whether it be lowering crime allowing
[00:01:14] people to own firearms at unleashing the
[00:01:17] economy and now a lot of that is put in
[00:01:20] Jeopardy at Turning Point USA we're
[00:01:22] honored to be able to host this event
[00:01:23] because we believe the fight for a
[00:01:26] strong Nation the fight for liberty and
[00:01:28] freedom is something that all people
[00:01:30] need to be invested in and when we have
[00:01:32] Fighters that are willing to lean in and
[00:01:35] say Marxism is evil and it is a threat
[00:01:38] to humanity we need to support those
[00:01:41] leaders when they are doing the right
[00:01:43] thing and that is exactly why we are
[00:01:44] here today so watch this video and then
[00:01:47] we're going to get right to it

[00:02:25] we will work to lower the tax burden
[00:02:28] streamlined rules and make life easier
[00:02:31] for those who wish to produce and do
[00:02:33] business as entrepreneurs invest and
[00:02:36] create jobs
[00:02:39] honking and waving resilience
[00:02:41] pro-military stance has made him a
[00:02:43] champion of Law and Order it made it
[00:02:45] easier for civilians to own firearms we
[00:02:48] understand that once people get armed
[00:02:50] the crooks the thieves will think twice
[00:02:52] before they break into other people's
[00:02:53] property Brazil does have a great deal
[00:02:55] to offer the U.S and the same is true
[00:02:57] the other way around we have decided to
[00:02:58] restore the CEO Forum between Brazil and
[00:03:01] the us we also intend to attach priority
[00:03:03] to relaunching an energy Forum Brazilian
[00:03:06] stocks sharply higher today SEMA yeah a
[00:03:08] positive Market reaction Carl to
[00:03:10] president year bolsonaro's stronger than
[00:03:12] expected showing he is the leader who is
[00:03:14] promising reforms and efforts to curb
[00:03:16] Energy prices while also calling into
[00:03:18] question the country's electorate system
[00:03:20] Brazil and the United States stand side
[00:03:23] by side in their efforts to ensure their
[00:03:25] Liberties and respect to traditional
[00:03:27] family lifestyle files just about our
[00:03:30] creator against the gender ideology or
[00:03:32] the politically correct attitudes and
[00:03:34] against fake news
[00:03:40] ladies and gentlemen get on your feet
[00:03:42] and join me in welcoming president
[00:03:44] bolsonaro
[00:03:45] [Applause]
[00:03:51] [Music]
[00:03:53] [Applause]
[00:03:54] [Music]
[00:03:59] [Applause]

[00:04:23] I love you
[00:04:25] [Applause]
[00:04:29] yeah
[00:04:30] it's a great satisfaction to see
[00:04:34] thank you so much for the opportunity
[00:04:41] and for the way that I've been treated
[00:04:44] by Brazilians and Americans here in this
[00:04:46] great country
[00:04:50] I have always been a girl
[00:04:53] of the American people and it's
[00:04:55] Liberties
[00:04:58] the love for the flag
[00:05:04] and I believe that throughout these four
[00:05:07] years when I was president of this
[00:05:10] is
[00:05:13] been able to wake up many things in
[00:05:17] Brazil among them patriotism
[00:05:24] private property
[00:05:28] the right to self-defense
[00:05:37] and to show people that there's
[00:05:39] something more important than our lives
[00:05:41] which is
[00:05:43] our
[00:05:46] which is our freedom
[00:05:49] by the way
[00:05:50] yeah
[00:05:52] uh
[00:05:56] I'm 67 years old
[00:06:00] I served the Brazilian Army for 15 years
[00:06:05] I also have a degree in physical
[00:06:07] education Province
[00:06:10] for 28 years I was a congressman
[00:06:18] and in the end of 2014 I decided to run
[00:06:22] for president in 2018.
[00:06:27] in my campaign I spent less than one
[00:06:30] million dollars
[00:06:31] [Applause]
[00:06:37] approximately 4 million
[00:06:44] and there was a passage from the Bible
[00:06:47] which was our campaign flag
[00:06:52] you will know the truth and the truth
[00:06:55] shall set you free
[00:06:57] Infinity
[00:06:59] I scared
[00:07:02] I faced the left during the campaign and
[00:07:06] an attempt to murder me foreign
[00:07:17] we were victorious and we achieved
[00:07:20] something that nobody thought it was
[00:07:21] possible we selected our cabinet based
[00:07:25] on Merit and not political appointments
[00:07:29] economically
[00:07:33] Brazil was facing an ethical moral and
[00:07:36] economic crisis
[00:07:46] even in 2019 the first year that I
[00:07:50] served I was able to do many things for
[00:07:52] our liberties most especially the law
[00:07:55] for economic freedom
[00:07:59] is
[00:08:01] you imagine
[00:08:03] few years ago it would take four years
[00:08:05] to be able to open a company in Brazil
[00:08:07] on average
[00:08:12] in the end of my government the average
[00:08:15] was 23 hours in 23 hours you're able to
[00:08:18] open your company start your company
[00:08:21] [Applause]
[00:08:34] Brazilians
[00:08:38] Brazil is one of the most digitalized
[00:08:41] countries in the world
[00:08:45] um
[00:08:53] and even with the great crisis of the
[00:08:55] pandemic we finished the year of 2020
[00:08:59] even when it comes to the creation of
[00:09:02] new jobs
[00:09:04] special
[00:09:14] and we were able during the pandemic to
[00:09:17] provide for all and most importantly
[00:09:19] freedom for those who chose not to get
[00:09:23] the vaccine
[00:09:24] [Music]
[00:09:33] respite
[00:09:40] is
[00:09:42] and we respected medical autonomy so
[00:09:46] that doctors had the freedom to exercise
[00:09:50] their practice the medical practice
[00:09:51] freely
[00:09:53] foreign
[00:10:06] but externally as well but we did what
[00:10:09] we believe is right Freedom above all
[00:10:13] [Applause]
[00:10:18] um
[00:10:27] the whole world suffered with the
[00:10:30] pandemic not only with respect to loved
[00:10:33] ones who left us but also in the
[00:10:36] economic sense
[00:10:38] foreign
[00:10:49] of the population especially due to the
[00:10:52] to Governors who made people stay home
[00:10:56] yes
[00:11:05] this matter has been has already been
[00:11:08] resolved however we
[00:11:10] um still expect
[00:11:12] collateral damage that might come from
[00:11:15] from those closures
[00:11:28] we through our program called auxilium
[00:11:30] emergency Audi emergency measures that
[00:11:33] we provided for one third of the
[00:11:34] population we were able to give 70
[00:11:36] million hash to help the people in that
[00:11:39] time of need
[00:11:40] eventually
[00:11:43] um
[00:11:49] the beginning of 2022 the entire world
[00:11:52] started to see the consequences of a
[00:11:54] global conflict between Ukraine and
[00:11:57] Russia
[00:11:59] um
[00:12:08] the entire world suffered with this but
[00:12:11] I went to Russia and I negotiated the
[00:12:14] continue the continuous uh flow of
[00:12:17] fertilizers that are extremely important
[00:12:20] for the Brazilian economy Garland tumors
[00:12:23] are not as sequence is
[00:12:30] we guarantee the security of our
[00:12:35] nutrition in Brazil and of the people
[00:12:38] throughout the world
[00:12:50] even though the price the fuel prices
[00:12:53] increased in the entire world we were
[00:12:55] able to maintain the price per liter of
[00:12:58] gasoline in Brazil lower than one dollar
[00:13:07] the unemployment rate in Brazil and I
[00:13:10] left my term when I finished my term was
[00:13:13] way lower than when I took office in
[00:13:16] 2019.
[00:13:18] um
[00:13:31] there were three years starting last
[00:13:33] year three consecutive years of negative
[00:13:35] inflation in Brazil and for the first
[00:13:38] time last year our inflation rate was
[00:13:40] lower than that of the United States
[00:13:44] foreign
[00:14:07] and even though we did that we still the
[00:14:11] government still
[00:14:12] um
[00:14:13] collected records of of income
[00:14:18] foreign
[00:14:25] [Applause]
[00:14:37] [Applause]
[00:14:42] campaign I attracted massive crowds
[00:14:46] through the five regions of Brazil
[00:14:50] foreign
[00:14:54] [Applause]
[00:15:02] God Nation family and freedom
[00:15:10] in Frank Thomas
[00:15:23] we Face the entire system and we
[00:15:25] finished our term without any
[00:15:27] accusations of corruption
[00:15:31] tortoise
[00:15:38] [Applause]
[00:15:55] it is not easy to be the president of
[00:15:59] Brazil when you are on the right side of
[00:16:02] things
[00:16:03] images
[00:16:11] I shall say that my popularity in 2022
[00:16:16] was double of what it was before
[00:16:22] French
[00:16:25] but we must look forward Brazil is a
[00:16:28] great nation
[00:16:31] no one has what we have
[00:16:34] biodiversity
[00:16:39] land for agriculture
[00:16:42] agua potavio
[00:16:44] drinkable water he kills me in the rice
[00:16:47] mineral riches
[00:16:50] a great climate
[00:16:53] the layers and authorized natural
[00:16:55] beauties
[00:16:57] and a fantastic people
[00:17:02] yeah
[00:17:07] we will not give up on Brazil
[00:17:10] [Applause]
[00:17:17] [Music]
[00:17:19] Ians
[00:17:21] I recharge my batteries in moments like
[00:17:24] this
[00:17:25] [Applause]
[00:17:36] every day
[00:17:40] foreign
[00:17:49] you see what is happening in our country
[00:17:53] is
[00:18:01] [Applause]
[00:18:03] I have I have only one thing to say
[00:18:05] compare my cabinet with the cabinet that
[00:18:09] is in place right now
[00:18:10] foreign
[00:18:18] and I must also say that I will share My
[00:18:22] Success with my cabinets and my family
[00:18:24] [Applause]
[00:18:31] the first lady my wife all those balls
[00:18:34] with balls
[00:18:35] fantastic foreign
[00:18:38] [Applause]
[00:18:47] foreign
[00:19:01] poor people in the good moments and the
[00:19:03] bad moments and I must also say that for
[00:19:06] a child to become literate it would take
[00:19:10] on average two to three years
[00:19:18] the literacy time took now takes one
[00:19:22] quarter of that time six months
[00:19:37] we also created something that might
[00:19:39] seem not to be important but that gave
[00:19:41] the economy a great boost which is our
[00:19:44] picks similar to Zell here in America
[00:19:55] without taxation today we circulate over
[00:20:00] 200 billion dollars per month
[00:20:04] foreign
[00:20:08] [Music]
[00:20:13] poor people that had to live informally
[00:20:17] and work informally now they have their
[00:20:20] financial Independence
[00:20:30] and there are many simple things such as
[00:20:33] this one that helped people not only
[00:20:35] your everyday life of the of the people
[00:20:37] but also for our economy foreign
[00:20:53] that if we were able to stay in power
[00:20:56] four more years
[00:20:57] the numbers of our economy our GDP world
[00:21:01] GDP and face of the world GDP we would
[00:21:04] grow tremendously
[00:21:06] Fair is
[00:21:10] a
[00:21:11] give Brazil government
[00:21:17] I'm faithful
[00:21:19] I believe in Brazil
[00:21:21] and I know that Brazil will not end
[00:21:23] because of the current government
[00:21:31] is here
[00:21:36] sometimes I would ask God what did I do
[00:21:38] to deserve such a sacrifice
[00:21:43] foreign but then I changed
[00:21:50] I would say God thank you very much for
[00:21:52] this opportunity
[00:22:00] no thanks
[00:22:03] there's no greatest satisfaction than
[00:22:06] having accomplished our mission
[00:22:09] is
[00:22:19] Brazil
[00:22:22] he
[00:22:24] is
[00:22:27] it saddens me that some people that I
[00:22:30] see and I meet here in this country that
[00:22:32] wants to go back to Brazil unfortunately
[00:22:34] that return might be delayed
[00:22:42] many others are very thankful to America
[00:22:46] for the opportunity to stay here
[00:22:57] but as well as we might feel here we
[00:23:00] always worry about our friends and
[00:23:03] family that stayed in Brazil
[00:23:05] says
[00:23:11] I understand
[00:23:22] I understand the difficulties that you
[00:23:25] had to adapt here with all due respect
[00:23:28] to all the countries in the world
[00:23:29] there's no country like Brazil
[00:23:33] foreign
[00:23:39] [Applause]
[00:23:43] and and to finish and open to the next
[00:23:47] questions I know that God is Brazilian
[00:23:54] s
[00:23:57] thank you very much to all of you and
[00:24:00] now I'm gonna answer some questions
[00:24:02] thank you very much
[00:24:07] give it up for the President right here
[00:24:15] I think they're bringing out some shares
[00:24:17] and we have some questions here so uh
[00:24:19] just give us a minute here and we'll get
[00:24:21] set up and uh so first
[00:24:26] so first Mr President tell us about the
[00:24:28] rise of socialism in South America and
[00:24:32] why you think this is a global struggle
[00:24:34] president
[00:24:45] NASA Demus
[00:24:48] Que esqueda
[00:24:50] buska iguala
[00:24:53] is
[00:24:57] we know that the left looks for Equity
[00:24:59] to make everybody equal the whole
[00:25:01] population but to make them equal in
[00:25:03] poverty is
[00:25:11] I don't blame the leftist voters because
[00:25:15] Unfortunately they were indoctrinated in
[00:25:18] the schools to believe what they believe
[00:25:27] but each one of us must work to show
[00:25:30] these people that they are on the wrong
[00:25:32] path is
[00:25:39] Venezuela and unfortunately we have
[00:25:41] examples to show in Brazil we can tell
[00:25:44] the people about our neighbor and our
[00:25:47] dear Venezuela
[00:25:55] a country with the greatest reserves of
[00:25:58] oil in the world but where the people
[00:26:00] are living in absolute poverty level
[00:26:09] foreign
[00:26:21] and we notice that all of our neighbors
[00:26:23] in Latin America who choose the path of
[00:26:25] the left that the path of misery and
[00:26:28] poverty is the same for all of them
[00:26:35] Venezuela
[00:26:39] foreign
[00:26:44] This Global
[00:26:46] this problem is global and we have
[00:26:49] talked even to leaders in this country
[00:26:51] about the Venezuelan situation and we
[00:26:52] don't want for Brazil to follow in this
[00:26:55] path
[00:27:00] ology
[00:27:06] only in a city in the Brazilian state of
[00:27:09] horaima 700 Venezuelans per day come
[00:27:14] into our country trying to escape
[00:27:16] poverty and violence
[00:27:19] foreign
[00:27:28] 35 pounds less than they weighed when
[00:27:33] that they wait a few years back
[00:27:44] the situation saddens us and we know how
[00:27:48] difficult it will be for Venezuela to go
[00:27:50] back to a normal situation
[00:28:00] we are saddened that an exponent of
[00:28:03] Brazilian politics cooperated so that
[00:28:06] Venezuela contributed so that Venezuela
[00:28:09] reached this situation
[00:28:19] Liberty is like a great love we must
[00:28:22] care for it every day
[00:28:30] foreign
[00:28:32] personally curious why is it that
[00:28:36] despite the negative track record of
[00:28:38] socialism in Venezuela these ideas still
[00:28:41] continue to have some form of popularity
[00:28:43] is
[00:28:56] unfortunately yes you still see this oh
[00:28:58] this course was fusses
[00:29:06] easy speeches unfortunately attract a
[00:29:09] lot of people Promises of paradise here
[00:29:12] on Earth
[00:29:15] because
[00:29:18] [Applause]
[00:29:21] steak and beer that was the promise of
[00:29:24] the left in Brazil
[00:29:25] uh
[00:29:27] loss for example Festival
[00:29:36] our unemployment our employment rates
[00:29:39] are better now than in 2018 when I took
[00:29:42] office
[00:29:44] we took water to our Northeast region
[00:29:48] today
[00:29:55] with fiscal responsibility we tripled
[00:29:58] the value of our
[00:30:02] welfare program to help the poor people
[00:30:08] some states in Brazil had full
[00:30:11] employment
[00:30:15] our agricultural business was working
[00:30:18] extremely well
[00:30:31] you had no information about MST
[00:30:33] invading private land property during my
[00:30:36] time in office
[00:30:43] the number of violent deaths decreased
[00:30:46] from 60 000 to 40 000 per year
[00:30:51] foreign
[00:31:00] to build
[00:31:03] win win
[00:31:06] energy windmills in the coast of the
[00:31:09] Northeast wind power
[00:31:11] in the quarter in the coast of the
[00:31:13] Northeast
[00:31:18] to generate energy which is equivalent
[00:31:21] to 50 of our itaipu which is our nuclear
[00:31:25] energy base
[00:31:27] foreign
[00:31:47] 20 000 kilometers of railroads in Brazil
[00:31:51] everything paid by the the private
[00:31:53] companies
[00:31:55] foreign
[00:32:01] foreign
[00:32:07] [Applause]
[00:32:11] [Music]
[00:32:14] [Applause]
[00:32:24] [Applause]
[00:32:29] all I can say is that sounds very
[00:32:32] familiar sounds very good
[00:32:40] so I I want to just emphasize one point
[00:32:44] that you made which is you could tell a
[00:32:46] lot by the flow of people
[00:32:48] go from totalitarian societies to free
[00:32:52] societies and that is the best way to
[00:32:55] show whether or not something is working
[00:32:57] I'm sure there's some people who either
[00:32:59] personally or had parents left Cuba to
[00:33:02] come to America or New York to Florida
[00:33:04] very similar
[00:33:15] foreign
[00:33:37] delivery
[00:33:48] Berlin
[00:33:50] it's like when the Berlin Wall fell
[00:33:53] where did the people go
[00:33:56] um
[00:33:59] [Music]
[00:34:03] there were certain times when the
[00:34:06] dictator Maduro actually closed the
[00:34:08] borders not allowing for his people to
[00:34:10] come to Brazil
[00:34:12] Venezuela
[00:34:22] I never saw any member of the Workers
[00:34:25] Party fleeing to Venezuela
[00:34:30] so I wanna I wanna ask about
[00:34:34] the current president and the danger he
[00:34:37] might be for the economy you talked
[00:34:40] about this a little bit in your remarks
[00:34:42] but especially for American audience
[00:34:45] members I think this should be very
[00:34:46] instructive
[00:34:49] you know president economies
[00:35:00] foreign
[00:35:08] statistic and numbers cannot be argued
[00:35:12] um
[00:35:19] throughout 2022 we were creating an
[00:35:23] average of 200 000 new jobs per month
[00:35:28] foreign
[00:35:30] impressed
[00:35:35] in this last month with the new
[00:35:37] government coming into power we lost 400
[00:35:41] 000 jobs
[00:35:48] generally these people are the most poor
[00:35:52] difference
[00:36:01] I wish it was different but I understand
[00:36:03] that in January we're always also going
[00:36:05] to have a great loss in jobs and this is
[00:36:08] extremely negative for our country
[00:36:10] Association
[00:36:18] no jobs no steak and no beer
[00:36:22] companies
[00:36:29] but deep inside we feel sorry for these
[00:36:32] people poor people who were who were
[00:36:35] misled
[00:36:39] no vision huh
[00:36:42] foreign
[00:36:48] I'm not optimistic about the future of
[00:36:51] our economy due to the measures adopted
[00:36:53] by this new government
[00:36:59] and the economy dictates the future of a
[00:37:03] regime
[00:37:05] we talked a little bit about this
[00:37:06] previously but for everybody else I
[00:37:08] think it's helpful the American founding
[00:37:10] fathers warned against judges having too
[00:37:14] much power
[00:37:16] they were explicit about it about a what
[00:37:18] they called a super Judiciary power that
[00:37:22] a judge should not be able to have the
[00:37:23] power to investigate or prosecute
[00:37:26] that's a long lead up I'll allow you to
[00:37:29] yeah you know explain that but can we
[00:37:31] dive into that idea a little bit of
[00:37:33] Judges being above the other branches of
[00:37:36] government is
[00:37:54] foreign
[00:37:58] the legislative branch is responsible
[00:38:03] for legislating
[00:38:07] no hardest videos
[00:38:11] unfortunately many times the Judiciary
[00:38:14] branch has been legislating in Brazil
[00:38:19] um
[00:38:25] I'll give you one example which will be
[00:38:27] difficult for Americans to understand
[00:38:29] about private property
[00:38:36] is
[00:38:40] Brazil when you own land and someone
[00:38:44] invades your private property you have
[00:38:47] to go to court so that that property
[00:38:49] once again is returned to you
[00:38:56] especially in the rural areas these
[00:38:59] cases take more than 10 years
[00:39:02] foreign
[00:39:16] and now the courts have created one more
[00:39:19] step after the court has closed the case
[00:39:23] for that property to return to its legal
[00:39:27] owner
[00:39:41] so after this long judicial process that
[00:39:45] takes so many years there will be a
[00:39:48] committee indicated by the government
[00:39:50] that will decide if this property will
[00:39:53] be returned to its legitimate owner
[00:39:57] Brazil
[00:40:06] for example we have also many cases now
[00:40:09] incidences where the judicial branch
[00:40:11] will decide about abortion in Brazil
[00:40:18] we hope that this doesn't happen but we
[00:40:21] can only hope
[00:40:25] of the 11 justices in the Supreme Court
[00:40:28] two were appointed by me foreign
[00:40:38] obviously one of the litmus tests one of
[00:40:41] the requirements that I had is for them
[00:40:43] not for them to be pro-life
[00:40:55] so I think that's an important example
[00:40:57] for us and as we see the bigger the
[00:40:59] government the smaller the citizen so I
[00:41:02] want to close on just the topic you
[00:41:04] mentioned of the the verse theme for
[00:41:06] your campaign talk about the importance
[00:41:09] of your faith and people of faith in
[00:41:11] this fight against Marxism
[00:41:14] foreign
[00:41:37] first we might must encourage freedom
[00:41:40] and liberty in the most
[00:41:44] um
[00:41:45] well he gets his way
[00:41:47] King David thou Norton
[00:41:50] parupa ISO
[00:41:53] chips
[00:41:58] the north of the country the direction
[00:42:00] of the country must be decided by the
[00:42:02] people
[00:42:03] I think your office
[00:42:07] and throughout my four years that's what
[00:42:10] I try to do as much as I could
[00:42:17] the less the population looks and
[00:42:19] depends on politicians the better it
[00:42:21] will be for that country
[00:42:23] foreign
[00:42:34] we ran away from populism and we gave
[00:42:37] ways for the people to work
[00:42:50] and that's the best way to get away from
[00:42:53] socialism from communism and to dream to
[00:42:57] be a great nation
[00:43:00] think I just want to say thank you to
[00:43:02] Pedro for interpreting has he not done a
[00:43:04] great job that's not easy
[00:43:08] and God bless you Mr President thank you
[00:43:11] for being here thank you everybody God
[00:43:12] bless you
[00:43:21] [Music]
[00:43:38] foreign
[00:43:52] [Music]
