[00:00:00] South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham is
[00:00:02] with us. Let's start with the narot
[00:00:03] terrorists tonight and your thoughts.
[00:00:05] >> Uh well, number one, well done, Mr.
[00:00:07] President. President Trump has decided
[00:00:09] to treat drug cartels as national
[00:00:12] security threats. Remember the
[00:00:13] caliphate, the ISIS caliphate that
[00:00:16] President Trump destroyed. We have a
[00:00:19] drug caliphate in our backyard. Uh,
[00:00:22] Venezuela is run by an indicted uh, drug
[00:00:26] dealer, Maduro, who's not a legitimate
[00:00:28] president of Venezuela. It's a safe
[00:00:30] haven for drug cartels. So, President
[00:00:32] Trump has a policy that if you're in the
[00:00:35] drug business, you're a drug cartel and
[00:00:37] you're having boats come to America,
[00:00:39] we're going to blow up the boats. I
[00:00:40] think his policy is going to go on the
[00:00:42] land. If you're a country housing drug
[00:00:45] cartels, we're going to treat you as a
[00:00:47] national security threat to our country.
[00:00:49] There is a caliphate in our backyard.
[00:00:52] Colombia, Venezuela, and Cuba are all
[00:00:55] countries that have allowed drug cartels
[00:00:58] to operate with impunity, make money off
[00:01:01] poisoning America, and these countries
[00:01:03] should be on notice. With Donald Trump,
[00:01:05] the game is changing.
[00:01:08] >> Oh, okay. Now, let's go to Israel. Um,
[00:01:10] we've been watching since the peace deal
[00:01:13] was made and the hostages were released.
[00:01:15] You know, Hamas has been, you know,
[00:01:17] lining people up in the street and just
[00:01:19] assassinating them and they've been
[00:01:21] breaking the ceasefire. They're not
[00:01:22] keeping it. President Trump has warned
[00:01:24] them again and again and again, abide by
[00:01:27] the agreement or what happened today is
[00:01:29] going to happen. So, uh, now we hear
[00:01:33] from the king of Jordan and he says as
[00:01:35] long as they are peacekeepers and
[00:01:37] they're not there to be security forces,
[00:01:39] he'd be on board with, you know, part of
[00:01:42] the solution.
[00:01:43] >> Yeah. So, here's the deal. I'm glad the
[00:01:45] hostages were released. That was a great
[00:01:48] achievement. But the idea of Hamas
[00:01:50] disarming voluntarily is a fantasy.
[00:01:53] They're religious Nazis. They're like
[00:01:55] the SS. They're built to kill Jews.
[00:01:59] They're not going to change their ways
[00:02:00] until somebody makes them. The idea that
[00:02:03] some stabilizing force made up of Arabs
[00:02:06] are going to go into Gaza and fight
[00:02:08] Hamas to disarm them is also not
[00:02:12] realistic. The only force available to
[00:02:15] disarm Hamas through military force is
[00:02:18] the state of Israel. Since the
[00:02:20] ceasefire, Israel has been attacked
[00:02:22] twice by Hamas terrorist. Four soldiers
[00:02:25] have been killed. So I predict that if
[00:02:28] things don't change pretty quickly,
[00:02:30] Israel is going to go back into Gaza and
[00:02:32] finish off Hamas. Until Hamas is
[00:02:35] finished off militarily and politically,
[00:02:38] there will be no peace in the Middle
[00:02:40] East.
[00:02:41] Well, look, the president gave them
[00:02:43] warning after warning. Israel was on the
[00:02:45] verge of devastating and obliterating
[00:02:48] Gaza. Uh, President Trump convinced them
[00:02:51] to stop. Uh, made the peace deal, got
[00:02:54] the, you know, the release of the
[00:02:56] hostages and now, you know, we're at a
[00:02:58] point where I don't know, if they're not
[00:03:00] disarmed, there's never going to be
[00:03:01] peace and their charter calls for the
[00:03:03] destruction of Israel.
[00:03:04] >> Yeah. They their behavior on the ground
[00:03:06] since the ceasefire has been to kill
[00:03:08] their opposition. killing people in the
[00:03:10] back. They're killing the Palestinian
[00:03:12] people.
[00:03:12] >> Yeah. Yeah. And have you heard when
[00:03:13] liberals say anything about that? The
[00:03:15] only time it matters when a Palestinian
[00:03:17] killed is when Israel has to defend
[00:03:20] itself against Hamas. But the bottom
[00:03:22] line is time up for Hamas. They're
[00:03:25] regaining power. They're rearming. It's
[00:03:28] time to take them out. I think Israel is
[00:03:29] the only group that can do it.
[00:03:32] >> Okay. I was talking to Senator Kennedy
[00:03:33] earlier about Democrats. Yeah. Okay. The
[00:03:36] Schumer shutdown continues as of
[00:03:38] Saturday. Well, okay. As as of Saturday,
[00:03:42] uh SNAP benefits, they were given an
[00:03:44] opportunity to fund that today. Last
[00:03:46] week, they were given an opportunity to
[00:03:48] fund the military. They've said no. So,
[00:03:51] 42 million Americans will now start
[00:03:54] suffering as of Saturday. Uh do you see
[00:03:56] any end in sight?
[00:03:58] >> I think next week they're going to break
[00:03:59] because the damage being done to the
[00:04:01] country is enormous. Is now really the
[00:04:03] time to shut down the government, not
[00:04:05] pay our military, have the FBI not paid,
[00:04:08] the CIA not paid, uh people on food
[00:04:11] stamp, SNAP, uh the whole array of
[00:04:13] damage is going to break the Democrats.
[00:04:16] But I need your help and your audience's
[00:04:18] help. If you want to end this in the
[00:04:19] future, I've got a constitutional
[00:04:21] amendment I'm going to introduce that
[00:04:23] would say when Congress shuts down the
[00:04:25] government, Congress forfeits its own
[00:04:28] pay. I really do believe if we had to
[00:04:30] forfeit our faith when the government
[00:04:32] shut down, it wouldn't shut down. I've
[00:04:34] got a constitutional amendment. I need
[00:04:36] you and your audience to help me sell it
[00:04:39] to Congress.
[00:04:41] >> Well, I like it. Uh, does that mean
[00:04:43] you're not getting paid for the time
[00:04:44] it's shut down?
[00:04:45] >> I'm giving my uh money away to a
[00:04:48] charity, but no member of Congress
[00:04:50] should ever get paid when we shut down
[00:04:52] the government. We should get be
[00:04:53] reimbursed. We should forfeit our money.
[00:04:56] And I think a constitutional amendment
[00:04:58] requiring Congress to forfeit their
[00:05:00] salary uh would prevent future shutdowns
[00:05:03] or at least go a long way toward it. And
[00:05:05] I'm going to introduce it and I need
[00:05:06] your help to pass it.
[00:05:09] >> Okay. I'm going to have to send you a
[00:05:11] check every month until you get back to
[00:05:12] work.
[00:05:13] >> I'm good. All right. I'm good. Thank
[00:05:14] Thank you, Senator
