Cam Higby Infiltrated Signal Chats Targeting ICE Agents

[00:00:00] you infiltrated. Tell us the backstory. [00:00:02] How did you get in uh a hold of this [00:00:04] information, the signal chat, and what [00:00:06] did you find inside of it? [00:00:08] >> Yeah, I uh well, I made a friend and I [00:00:10] can't say who it is or I I can't [00:00:13] elaborate a lot there, but um I managed [00:00:15] to get in. I got a link to many of the [00:00:20] signal chats, specifically the rapid [00:00:22] response groups that were being used to [00:00:24] actively track down and hunt ICE and [00:00:28] then stage intentional obstruction of [00:00:30] their operations, oftent times resulting [00:00:33] in uh violence and sometimes death in [00:00:36] the case of Mr. Prey. Uh and I also [00:00:39] believe that Renee Nicole Good was a [00:00:42] member of the signal chat. I don't have [00:00:44] confirmation from anybody in the chats [00:00:46] like we do with with Alex Prey. Uh [00:00:49] members of the network have admitted [00:00:51] that he was uh what they call an [00:00:53] observer. I don't have that for Renee [00:00:55] Nicole Good. But what I do know is that [00:00:57] she was engaging in the exact same [00:00:59] tactics that everybody else in the [00:01:01] network was engaging in. And here's the [00:01:03] other thing. when they are in the [00:01:04] neighborhoods, when you are seeing them [00:01:06] actively impede ICE or federal law [00:01:09] enforcement operations in the [00:01:10] neighborhoods, the only way you know to [00:01:13] be there is through these networks. And [00:01:15] I know that because before I was [00:01:16] infiltrated, I drove around looking for [00:01:18] ICE convoys and looking for protesters [00:01:21] in the neighborhood during uh active [00:01:23] federal operations and I couldn't find [00:01:25] any. But then I joined the Cats. I I [00:01:28] hunted them down like over and over and [00:01:30] over again. [00:01:31] So Cam, for people who haven't seen it, [00:01:33] can you give a a basic summary? What are [00:01:35] the tactics they are describing? What [00:01:37] what's the whole process for how this [00:01:38] unfolds for maybe a typical ICE convoy? [00:01:42] >> So as soon as they see a vehicle that [00:01:45] they believe is federal law enforcement, [00:01:47] they will send the plates into these [00:01:50] signal rapid response groups. They have [00:01:52] several occupations. There are people [00:01:54] who are on um motor patrol, so they're [00:01:57] like in their cars and they're driving [00:01:58] around looking for federal agents. There [00:02:00] are stationary patrols, people in their [00:02:01] car sitting sitting on corners. There [00:02:03] are foot patrols, people walking around [00:02:05] on foot and then people stationary on [00:02:06] foot as well. You'll see them on corners [00:02:08] everywhere you go in Minneapolis. Those [00:02:10] people are constantly just looking for [00:02:11] for plates. Then there are plate [00:02:13] checkers and that's indicated by an [00:02:15] emoji of a of a dinner plate. That means [00:02:17] that those are people who are probably [00:02:19] home checking plates and comparing them [00:02:22] to their Air Table database. Okay. And [00:02:24] then you have dispatchers who run a 247 [00:02:27] call. It's active right now. uh who tell [00:02:30] people what intersections to go to. They [00:02:32] check the plates, they confirm it, and [00:02:33] they tell people go here. Uh and then [00:02:35] all of the patrols go to that location [00:02:38] and that's how they all end up there. [00:02:39] And the goal is of course to impede [00:02:42] federal law enforcement. That's their [00:02:43] expressly stated goal. Um and that's [00:02:46] exactly what they do. They obstruct, [00:02:47] they dearrest, and they aid and abet [00:02:50] illegal immigrants. They help vulnerable [00:02:52] communities, they call them. Um and and [00:02:54] that's pretty much the synopsis. The [00:02:57] network was nuked after I exposed it and [00:02:59] they've already rebuilt it. I'd say it's [00:03:01] probably about at half capacity of what [00:03:03] it was before. [00:03:05] >> So, and then so they go there to [00:03:07] obstruct. What are the tactics they're [00:03:09] told to use for the purposes of [00:03:10] obstruction when they're on site? [00:03:13] >> Stand in the way, block. Uh, a big one [00:03:16] is honking your horn, blowing the [00:03:18] whistles, follow the cars. So, they'll [00:03:20] follow the convoys everywhere. Um, like [00:03:23] we were at one point, so Greg Bavino was [00:03:25] driving around uh southside Minneapolis [00:03:28] in a convoy the other day. I think it [00:03:30] was a distraction convoy, but there was [00:03:32] literally like 20 cars following this [00:03:35] convoy. Protesters honking their horns, [00:03:37] blowing whistles. I mean, this convoy, [00:03:40] if it was actually conducting [00:03:41] operations, wouldn't have been able to [00:03:42] get anything done um due to the fact [00:03:45] that there was such a volume of people [00:03:47] following them with vehicles, which are [00:03:49] weapons. Um, so, so those are the [00:03:51] tactics. And when we drive our car [00:03:53] downtown, our car was marked in their [00:03:55] database as confirmed ice somehow. Um, [00:03:59] don't know how. It's in the Air Table [00:04:00] database. I've seen it. I have [00:04:02] screenshots of it. And, uh, so we would [00:04:04] pick up like Fort Tales anytime we went [00:04:06] to Southside Minneapolis. And I mean, it [00:04:07] is like as soon as you enter Southside [00:04:09] Minneapolis, you automatically have [00:04:12] three people following you. We would [00:04:13] just right turn and a right turn and a [00:04:15] right turn, go in a complete circle, and [00:04:16] they're still following us. [00:04:17] >> Yeah. I mean that's I mean it shows just [00:04:19] how widespread this network is. There's [00:04:21] a guy who replied to your tweet that's [00:04:24] got 20 million engagements by the way. [00:04:25] Congrats Cam. It's great great work. A [00:04:28] guy named Eric Schwal. Um I've checked [00:04:31] him out. He's legit. It says as a former [00:04:33] special forces warrant officer with [00:04:35] multiple rotations running [00:04:37] counterinsurgency ops both hunting [00:04:39] insurgents and trying to separate from [00:04:41] the sympathetic populations. [00:04:43] I've organ I've seen organized [00:04:45] resistance up up close from ambar to [00:04:47] hemland helm and the pattern is familiar [00:04:50] spotters cutouts dead drops disciplined [00:04:53] comms roll specialization and a [00:04:55] willingness to absorb casualties while [00:04:58] bleeding the stronger force slowly and [00:05:00] that's the key the they are willing to [00:05:03] absorb casualties by design it's an [00:05:07] information op they want to win the [00:05:10] hearts and minds of people to play [00:05:12] victim When something goes wrong, when [00:05:14] they cause it to go wrong, this is the [00:05:16] whole game. This is the whole game. [00:05:18] They're going to go put put a bunch of [00:05:20] kamicazi Karens, put their bodies on the [00:05:22] line. That's why you see Joy Reid [00:05:24] saying, "You need to put your white [00:05:25] bodies on the line." They're going out [00:05:26] in the streets in the middle of the [00:05:28] freezing cold. Doesn't seem to matter. [00:05:30] By the way, I do have a question just on [00:05:32] this. It seemed like the cold had no [00:05:34] effect on these people because you got [00:05:36] Antifa streaming in from all all across [00:05:38] the country. Are you noticing that? [00:05:41] I will say at the federal building [00:05:42] there's a lot less people. Um and there [00:05:45] was this big invisible walkout protest [00:05:47] downtown Minneapolis. There was tons of [00:05:48] people for that. Tens of thousands. Um [00:05:50] but that was just a walk out so they [00:05:52] only had to be out on the streets for a [00:05:54] short period of time which made the [00:05:56] crowd look massive. I do think it is [00:05:58] having some degree of effect on them. Um [00:05:59] it's not having an effect on the patrols [00:06:01] though because they get to sit in their [00:06:03] cars. So you get to sit in your car all [00:06:06] day and then finally you find a convoy [00:06:08] or an agent doing an operation. you get [00:06:10] out for an hour, potentially get killed, [00:06:11] and if you don't, you get back in your [00:06:12] car and you're fine. Are we able to see that [00:06:58] happening? Are they striking out a lot? [00:07:00] What's going on in that dimension? [00:07:02] >> It seems like it. I mean, when I watch [00:07:03] the signal chats, they're talking about [00:07:05] there was a live abduction over here at [00:07:07] this time. So, it seems like they're [00:07:08] still arresting people, at least [00:07:09] according to the intel from the [00:07:10] protesters, which isn't always the most [00:07:12] reliable thing ever, but it it seems [00:07:14] like they're under the impression that [00:07:15] arrests are still being made. Uh, [00:07:18] regardless, [00:07:19] I haven't received any indication that [00:07:21] things have slowed down. It's definitely [00:07:24] difficult for them to operate given what [00:07:26] they have to face at these [00:07:27] intersections. Um, I think this that [00:07:29] clip was actually um just after the PR [00:07:32] shooting, which was like a war zone [00:07:33] right right there where where it [00:07:35] happened. Um, and those people were all [00:07:38] called there through these signal chats. [00:07:41] I watched it happen when he was killed. [00:07:43] I was still in the all of the chats [00:07:45] before the network got got nuked. They [00:07:47] didn't realize I I had leaked this right [00:07:49] around the same time he got killed and [00:07:50] they hadn't because he got killed. It [00:07:52] was fog of war. They didn't realize I [00:07:53] leaked it. So, I was still watching. [00:07:56] Well, the organizational level of this [00:07:58] and and some of the high-profile people. [00:08:00] You mentioned the guy that was that was [00:08:01] killed, Prey. He was in these signal [00:08:04] chats. You've got the lieutenant [00:08:06] governor. You've got some state reps. [00:08:08] Who else do we know that is of note [00:08:10] that's in that was inside these signal [00:08:12] chats? [00:08:12] >> Yeah, I don't have 100% confidence that [00:08:15] the lieutenant governor is in the chats. [00:08:17] Um just because I don't want to make a [00:08:19] 100% certain claim without%. [00:08:22] Um, it seems like there might be some [00:08:24] evidence indicating that she is. Um, I [00:08:26] know Zero Hour has done a lot of work on [00:08:28] on that specifically. I haven't had a [00:08:30] lot of time to dive into it because I'm [00:08:32] still on the ground. I go out every day [00:08:34] still and I I get in the mix of these [00:08:36] protests. I was out there in the tear [00:08:38] gas yesterday. Um, so all of my time is [00:08:41] spent on Signal Gate and on the ground [00:08:43] reporting. I just do info dumps and I [00:08:45] say, "I recorded everything inside the [00:08:47] signal chats. Here it all is." and then [00:08:50] other people go and they find out the [00:08:53] names of the people who are in the chats [00:08:54] and stuff like that. They slow it down. [00:08:56] Um I just haven't had the time to to [00:08:58] dive into specifically identifying [00:08:59] people. I'm just making all of the [00:09:01] information public [00:09:02] >> and making sure know that these are my [00:09:04] signal jets. [00:09:05] >> So there's clearly a lot of people in [00:09:07] these. They have pretty sophisticated [00:09:09] resources when they're checking plates [00:09:10] and all of that. Is there any evidence [00:09:12] that they might have access to [00:09:15] privileged information like that they [00:09:16] have someone in the police, someone in [00:09:18] the federal government, in the state [00:09:20] government who's giving them information [00:09:23] or access to certain programs that are [00:09:26] not supposed to be available for [00:09:27] civilian use? [00:09:29] >> I've heard this a lot. Um, [00:09:33] I haven't seen any evidence that that's [00:09:35] the case. It's definitely possible. I'm [00:09:38] not saying it's not possible and I'm not [00:09:39] saying it's not the case. I haven't [00:09:41] specifically seen conclusive evidence [00:09:43] that that's the case. They're definitely [00:09:45] checking plates, but I do know that they [00:09:46] have a system in place and I haven't [00:09:48] really had the opportunity to talk about [00:09:49] this a lot. The system is that [00:09:53] they will run a plate and they have this [00:09:55] air table database and when you report a [00:09:58] plate, you say vehicle seen with agents [00:10:01] in the front seat, agents exited the [00:10:03] vehicle, seen at the Whipple Federal [00:10:04] Building in the parking lot, um seen in [00:10:07] an abduction or whatever. And that gives [00:10:09] them then the admins basically tag that [00:10:12] with highly suspected ICE, confirmed [00:10:15] ICE, um, possible or not ICE. And our [00:10:19] vehicle was tagged as confirmed ICE. I [00:10:23] think because we were like right behind [00:10:24] the convoy one of the days and they [00:10:26] they're like we were I was actually [00:10:27] listening to them live while they were [00:10:28] tracking our car. They're like Ford [00:10:30] F-150 joins convoy. Ford F-150 joins [00:10:33] convoy. And I'm like we're just doing [00:10:34] the same thing. Um, so they're really I [00:10:37] mean they're not that smart too is the [00:10:38] other thing. But I don't I don't see any [00:10:40] evidence that that they have like um [00:10:43] like a government playchecking software. [00:10:45] It seems like it's all reporting at this [00:10:47] time.
