[00:00:01] Uh, Senator Graham, good to have you
[00:00:03] back, sir. Heard you went on a long trip
[00:00:05] to Israel and you're in Davos and uh,
[00:00:07] you've become a world traveler like uh,
[00:00:10] Gavin like Governor Tweety Bird uh,
[00:00:13] Trump stalker and podcaster Gavin
[00:00:16] Newsome and who doesn't do any work for
[00:00:18] the people of California. How are you?
[00:00:20] >> Good. I've been following President
[00:00:22] Trump around which has been an amazing
[00:00:24] experience. Uh, yeah. So, I went to
[00:00:26] Israel to let people know we have your
[00:00:28] back. Uh, I showed up in Davos to say
[00:00:31] that Trump's the solution, not the
[00:00:33] problem. All the surrender monkeys in
[00:00:35] Europe kind of freak out. I'm glad we
[00:00:38] have a guy in the White House that
[00:00:39] people fear. I'm glad we have a guy in
[00:00:42] the White House who is a peacemaker, but
[00:00:44] not to be trifled with. Back here at
[00:00:46] home, I'm getting very worried.
[00:00:48] President Trump made a course
[00:00:50] correction. He sent Tom Holman, a
[00:00:52] experts expert, to try to ratchet down
[00:00:55] the tension. And here's the proposal.
[00:00:58] you give us people in custody uh that
[00:01:01] you have that are in violation of
[00:01:03] immigration law that present a danger to
[00:01:06] our country, [clears throat] then we
[00:01:08] will ratchet down the pressure. They
[00:01:10] said no. Sanctuary cities, there are 12
[00:01:13] states that have sanctuary cities. What
[00:01:16] does that mean for you? It means that as
[00:01:18] long as there's a sanctuary state or
[00:01:20] city, illegals will keep coming thinking
[00:01:23] if they can get to one of these states
[00:01:24] or cities, they never leave. These
[00:01:27] states are rampant with fraud around
[00:01:29] illegal immigrants. Look at what
[00:01:31] happened in Minnesota. And if you allow
[00:01:33] a state to ignore federal law that's
[00:01:36] been on the book for 30 years, you'll
[00:01:38] have chaos. Steven Miller is not the
[00:01:40] problem. Sanctuary city policies are the
[00:01:43] problem. When the mayor of Minneapolis
[00:01:46] basically told President Trump, "Go take
[00:01:48] a hike." He's made this far worse. So,
[00:01:50] what do we do next? We take legislation
[00:01:53] that I'm working on with the White House
[00:01:56] that would end sanctuary city policy
[00:01:58] forever. It would tell these 12 states,
[00:02:01] "If you keep violating existing federal
[00:02:03] law, you're going to be punished to try
[00:02:06] to get a solution here." I'm dying to
[00:02:08] have that vote on the United States uh
[00:02:10] Senate floor. 80% of Americans do not
[00:02:13] like sanctuary cities. It rewards
[00:02:16] illegal behavior. It breaks down law and
[00:02:18] order order order and is a cesspool of
[00:02:21] uh fraud. I want to vote on the floor of
[00:02:24] the United States Senate where we the
[00:02:25] Republicans say end this policy end the
[00:02:29] madness and see what Democrats would do.
[00:02:31] It's important we have that vote because
[00:02:33] President Trump told me he wants to end
[00:02:36] sanctuary city policies forever. It
[00:02:38] takes a vote on the floor of the Senate.
[00:02:40] I hope we'll get that vote.
[00:02:42] >> Well, I mean the Republicans have the
[00:02:44] majority in the Senate. What would
[00:02:46] prevent that? legislation that vote from
[00:02:48] happening.
[00:02:48] >> Well, well, you know, we gota, you know,
[00:02:50] we got some rules, but nothing really to
[00:02:52] be honest with you. Don't you think it's
[00:02:54] now time to call the question? Again,
[00:02:56] the ICE agents, they're trying to
[00:02:59] protect us. People make mistakes, but
[00:03:01] the chaos in Minnesota is a direct
[00:03:04] result of ignoring the law, having 11
[00:03:08] million people come into our country,
[00:03:11] invading the country. During the Biden
[00:03:13] years, President Trump said, "I want to
[00:03:15] clean this mess up." He's trying to
[00:03:18] ratchet down tensions. They will not
[00:03:21] turn over to the federal government
[00:03:23] people they have in their jails in
[00:03:24] Minnesota that are criminals in
[00:03:26] violation of the law have arrest
[00:03:28] warrants. This is insane. So, the next
[00:03:32] thing I want to see happen is a vote on
[00:03:34] the floor of the United States Senate
[00:03:36] where we decide which party we want to
[00:03:38] be in charge. Do you want the party that
[00:03:41] likes sanctuary cities to be in charge?
[00:03:44] That would be the Democrats. Do you want
[00:03:45] a party like us who would like to end
[00:03:47] this madness? It is easy to understand.
[00:03:49] It would be political malpractice not to
[00:03:51] have that vote.
[00:03:53] >> All right. So, by definition, if you're
[00:03:56] a sanctuary city or state, isn't that by
[00:04:00] definition aiding, abetting in in law
[00:04:04] breaking, and even rewarding law
[00:04:06] breakers? Look at California for
[00:04:08] example. I mean, they have the highest
[00:04:10] income taxes, sales taxes, gas taxes,
[00:04:12] corporate taxes. Now, they they're going
[00:04:14] to have a referendum on on stealing, you
[00:04:18] know, 5% of the wealth of billionaires
[00:04:20] out in Silicon Valley, out in
[00:04:22] California. Though, by the way, 21 uh 20
[00:04:25] of 21 interviewed said they are leaving
[00:04:27] now because it would be retroactive back
[00:04:30] to January of this year when that
[00:04:31] referendum, if it's passed in November,
[00:04:33] they're they're getting out. They're
[00:04:34] leaving. and with them goes billions and
[00:04:37] billions of dollars and and god knows
[00:04:39] how many hundreds of thousands of jobs
[00:04:41] with it. Uh that's insane that they
[00:04:44] would put that on the ballot. But by
[00:04:46] definition, you're aiding and abetting
[00:04:48] and then you're rewarding by offering
[00:04:50] free health care and education and other
[00:04:53] services to illegals uh in your state.
[00:04:56] Now, in this case, uh I think it takes
[00:04:59] it a step further because if Mayor, you
[00:05:01] know, Small Fry and and Governor Timmy
[00:05:03] Walls, if in fact they do resist
[00:05:07] assisting ICE, uh at that point, how are
[00:05:10] they not obstructing justice?
[00:05:13] >> Well, I think they are. So, what is a
[00:05:17] sanctuary city or state? The state or
[00:05:21] local government chooses to ignore
[00:05:24] existing federal law. The laws we're
[00:05:26] talking about have been on the books
[00:05:28] long before Donald Trump came along.
[00:05:31] Under the law, the federal government
[00:05:33] when it comes to national immigration is
[00:05:35] supreme. You can't have 50 different
[00:05:38] immigration policies. The federal
[00:05:40] government sets national immigration
[00:05:42] policy. 12 states have said to the
[00:05:45] federal government, "Go to hell. We're
[00:05:47] going to ignore the law." Now, what does
[00:05:48] that mean for those of 38 states? It
[00:05:51] means we'll never stop illegal
[00:05:53] immigration because sanctuary cities are
[00:05:55] magnets. It means you'll continue to
[00:05:57] have benefits ripped off because it's a
[00:05:59] mess. It means you'll continue to have
[00:06:02] law and disorder. So for the country, we
[00:06:05] need to end the madness. President Trump
[00:06:07] is trying to ratchet down the pressure.
[00:06:09] They're trying to increase the pressure.
[00:06:12] And I will say again, I would love a
[00:06:14] vote on the floor of the United States
[00:06:15] Senate and let the American people
[00:06:17] decide what they want. And here's what
[00:06:19] they've decided. 70 80% of the American
[00:06:23] people hate the idea of sanctuary city
[00:06:26] policy, ignoring laws designed to
[00:06:29] benefit us all and make us safe. These
[00:06:32] 12 states have ignored laws on the books
[00:06:35] for 30 years, creating chaos. I want a
[00:06:38] vote, Sean. I want a vote on whether or
[00:06:41] not Democrats love sanctuary city policy
[00:06:44] so much they would be unwilling to
[00:06:47] change it in the face of all this
[00:06:48] madness. I think it's the defining issue
[00:06:51] of 2026.
[00:06:53] >> What is going to happen now? The DHS has
[00:06:57] identified 1360
[00:07:00] criminal illegal aliens in the criminal
[00:07:02] justice system currently in Minnesota.
[00:07:05] They want those people turned over to
[00:07:07] immigration services.
[00:07:09] >> Tom Hman is there advocating for such.
[00:07:12] >> If if the mayor refuses to cooperate,
[00:07:15] the governor refuses to cooperate. It
[00:07:17] seems to me that they're looking for a
[00:07:19] confrontation and a showdown. Um you
[00:07:22] mentioned the you said the word
[00:07:24] supremacy. We have a constitution. We
[00:07:27] have a supremacy clause
[00:07:29] >> and it's very simple. jurisdiction to
[00:07:31] enforce federal law lies with the
[00:07:33] federal government, not with local or
[00:07:35] state governments. As a matter of fact,
[00:07:37] they have no jurisdiction even going
[00:07:39] after federal agents that are are
[00:07:43] responding uh in the line of duty. They
[00:07:45] don't even have a case to be made here.
[00:07:48] So, with all of that said, what happens?
[00:07:51] I mean, do they want to get arrested?
[00:07:53] They do they want to become martyrs? Do
[00:07:55] they think that there's a political
[00:07:56] benefit for them?
[00:07:58] Clearly, they think there's a political
[00:08:00] benefit to them, but I think they're
[00:08:01] miscalculating.
[00:08:03] Again, the American people are
[00:08:05] fair-minded. Nobody wants crooks to stay
[00:08:08] around. Um, at the end of the day, the
[00:08:12] people that you just named are in
[00:08:14] custody at the state level for violating
[00:08:17] laws on the books. They're dangerous.
[00:08:21] These are not just somebody working in a
[00:08:23] taco stand. If they get away with this
[00:08:26] where they tell the federal government,
[00:08:27] "We're not going to follow federal law."
[00:08:30] That leads to chaos. So, there's a
[00:08:32] couple things to do. You can go to
[00:08:34] court, but you can also have Congress
[00:08:37] weigh in. What did President Trump ask
[00:08:39] Congress to do? Pass a law that would
[00:08:43] end sanctuary city policy forever. Now,
[00:08:46] what would that law look like? If you
[00:08:47] defy federal law, then the benefits
[00:08:51] coming from the federal government will
[00:08:52] be terminated. So, states will have to
[00:08:54] pick assistance to their states, uh, to
[00:08:57] their people over love for illegal
[00:08:59] immigration. What have we learned? The
[00:09:01] Democratic Party picks the illegal
[00:09:03] immigrant over law and order. The
[00:09:05] Democratic Party picks illegal
[00:09:07] immigrants over cracking down on fraud.
[00:09:11] This is a very big deal. This is a
[00:09:13] defining moment really in in American
[00:09:16] history. Are we going to allow 12 states
[00:09:19] to openly defy laws on the books that
[00:09:22] protect us all? And if they get away
[00:09:24] with it, there's no end to this.
[00:09:28] >> Yeah. Well, I'm going to say this. You
[00:09:30] know, this is now becoming the biggest
[00:09:32] choice midterm election in our lifetime.
[00:09:34] You want open borders or closed borders?
[00:09:36] Do you want sanctuary cities and states
[00:09:38] or do you want law and order? Um, do you
[00:09:41] want defund, dismantle, uh, reimagine
[00:09:44] the police, no bail laws, or do you
[00:09:46] want, you know, a police department free
[00:09:48] to do their job, uh, so you can be safe
[00:09:50] and secure in pursuit of happiness? Uh,
[00:09:53] do you want lower taxes because
[00:09:55] Democrats just voted for the largest tax
[00:09:57] increase in history, while Republicans
[00:09:59] voted for the largest tax cut in
[00:10:01] history? Do you want lower energy prices
[00:10:03] or higher energy prices? Uh, this is
[00:10:06] simple, basic, fundamental choices that
[00:10:08] people have to make.
[00:10:09] >> Yeah. And and I'm not sure, you know, I
[00:10:12] mean, is the Senate going to defund ICE?
[00:10:16] I mean, as that fight now continues in
[00:10:18] in the halls where you work every day.
[00:10:21] >> This is really a good question. Um, the
[00:10:24] Democrats are refusing to fund the
[00:10:27] Department of Homeland Security. 80% of
[00:10:31] the DHS budget has nothing to do with
[00:10:33] ICE or Border Patrol. 35% of the DHS
[00:10:37] budget, Department of Health, uh,
[00:10:39] Homeland Security, is FEMA, the Coast
[00:10:42] Guard. These people are nuts. They're
[00:10:45] refusing to fund the Department of
[00:10:47] Homeland Security because they hate
[00:10:49] Trump. They uh, apparently doubling down
[00:10:52] on love for illegal immigration. This
[00:10:54] would hurt the Coast Guard. It would
[00:10:56] hurt FEMA. This is insane. So, are we
[00:10:59] really going to shut the federal
[00:11:00] government down to preserve sanctuary
[00:11:03] city policy? Are they that crazy that
[00:11:06] they would literally defund the
[00:11:08] Department of Homeland Security at time
[00:11:09] of great threat? There's one thing you
[00:11:12] need to add to your list. We now have a
[00:11:13] commander-in-chief that's by no means an
[00:11:16] interventionist, but if you're a
[00:11:17] terrorist, you're going to pay a heavy
[00:11:19] price if you defy him. The days of Obama
[00:11:22] and Biden drawing red lines and doing
[00:11:25] nothing about it are over. To the people
[00:11:27] of Iran, the president said, "Keep
[00:11:29] protesting. Help is on the way." I
[00:11:31] believe him. to the people of the United
[00:11:33] States. The ayatollah is a homicidal
[00:11:35] maniac. He's a religious Nazi. Donald
[00:11:38] Trump is going to deal with him. They've
[00:11:39] killed 35,000 people. The days of
[00:11:42] disorder in the world are over. Donald
[00:11:44] Trump inherited a mess.
[00:11:46] >> Well, he secured the border in a year.
[00:11:48] Amazing story. When it comes to Trump,
[00:11:50] the best is yet to come.
[00:11:52] >> It looks like help has arrived as the
[00:11:54] USS Abraham Lincoln has arrived in the
[00:11:57] waters in the Middle East. Um, now it's
[00:12:00] a question in my mind. Now, the
[00:12:03] president and the White House said that
[00:12:04] the Ayatollas, the Mullas, the, you
[00:12:08] know, suicidal maniacs, as you call
[00:12:10] them, and religious Nazis, as you call
[00:12:13] them, uh, are are now hiding apparently
[00:12:16] in a bunker somewhere. But my
[00:12:18] expectation is any day now they'll
[00:12:20] probably end up on a plane in a tarmac
[00:12:23] filled with gold and silver and and
[00:12:25] billions of dollars and get the hell out
[00:12:27] of there and probably head to Putin's
[00:12:29] Russia. Uh what's going to happen next
[00:12:31] in your view?
[00:12:32] >> I just think that President Trump, you
[00:12:34] know, he's not Obama, he's not Biden, he
[00:12:36] doesn't draw red lines. When asked by
[00:12:38] the world press what should the
[00:12:39] protesters do? He said keep protesting.
[00:12:41] Help is on the way. Okay, I believe him.
[00:12:45] But if for some reason, you know, we
[00:12:47] pull the plug, the day after that would
[00:12:49] be a disaster. It' be worse than
[00:12:51] anything I think of. Donald Trump's not
[00:12:53] gonna let that happen. So, the Ayatollah
[00:12:56] does not mind killing his own people.
[00:12:58] He's a religious Nazi. Uh, it is now
[00:13:01] time to end the madness in Iran because
[00:13:03] it affects you. If they ever got a
[00:13:04] nuclear weapon, they would use it. So,
[00:13:06] the people in the streets dying by the
[00:13:09] thousands, I think, would be our
[00:13:11] friends. The Ayatollah will never be our
[00:13:13] friends. Israel is ready to go. I don't
[00:13:16] know what's going to happen, when it's
[00:13:18] going to happen, but I know this. When
[00:13:19] Donald Trump tells you something, you
[00:13:21] need to listen.
[00:13:23] >> I don't think I could say it any better.
[00:13:25] Senator Lindsey Graham, thank you. We
[00:13:26] appreciate you being with us.
