Debunking the Biggest Anti ICE Lie of the Week
📄 Extracted Text (1,665 words)
[00:00:00] We got to get to this 5-year-old. You
[00:00:02] know, the Democrats, literally the
[00:00:04] Democrats, their handle on X is tweeting
[00:00:07] out in Minnesota, Minneapolis, ICE
[00:00:09] arrested a 5-year-old coming home from
[00:00:11] preschool and tried to use him as human
[00:00:13] bait. His teacher describes him as a
[00:00:16] bright young student. These monsters are
[00:00:18] sick. Okay, we'll throw up the image.
[00:00:21] And this is this is this is literally
[00:00:23] their tweet. I don't know. Do you guys
[00:00:24] have have the image? It's too good. We
[00:00:26] have to I mean this is you know you got
[00:00:28] to sort of give them credit for just
[00:00:29] being shameless liars. So this is the
[00:00:32] this is the image and they've got yeah
[00:00:34] ICE detains 5-year-old boy three other
[00:00:36] students in Colombia Heights.
[00:00:39] >> It's not true. It's not what happened.
[00:00:42] >> So we should lay out like what
[00:00:44] >> I'm going to read the statement. We're
[00:00:46] going to read the statement. So I I
[00:00:47] literally called DHS this morning
[00:00:49] because turns out everybody's freaking
[00:00:51] out about this. This is all lib Twitter
[00:00:54] is talking about. This is all what Blue
[00:00:56] Sky is talking about. This is a huge
[00:00:57] story, right, Blake? This is like this
[00:01:00] is this is their thing. This is their
[00:01:02] cause dour.
[00:01:04] >> All right. Well, please lay it out.
[00:01:05] >> Well, so so they're they're flipping out
[00:01:07] like this is all so part partly we
[00:01:09] should mention this is all happening
[00:01:10] because ICE everything they do, they're
[00:01:12] relentlessly being stalked and followed
[00:01:16] and scrutinized. And so they're
[00:01:18] immediately spinning up these claims.
[00:01:20] And so their claim is that the the child
[00:01:24] they they arrested they made an arrest
[00:01:26] when a person drove into their driveway
[00:01:30] and you can see the little joints where
[00:01:32] they're being a little bit dishonest. So
[00:01:34] for example, so they deta apparently
[00:01:36] what happened is they tried to arrest
[00:01:38] the father of this 5-year-old who then
[00:01:39] fled the scene. And then they'll
[00:01:41] describe in even in the left's own
[00:01:43] telling another adult begged to take
[00:01:46] custody of the child but ICE refused.
[00:01:49] Okay, another adult. Is it the child's
[00:01:52] parent? Would we know if it's the
[00:01:54] child's parent? Like all these things
[00:01:56] that are obvious questions you're
[00:01:57] supposed to ask if you're a law
[00:01:58] enforcement agent, but they're mad that
[00:02:00] ICE is not omnisient and omnipotent in
[00:02:04] their powers. And so they have to follow
[00:02:05] police procedures. Oh, there was a child
[00:02:07] in the vehicle. And so we naturally
[00:02:09] immediately have ICE put out the
[00:02:11] statement, which is the child was
[00:02:13] abandoned. We tried to make an arrest
[00:02:15] and then the dad fled. So they left one
[00:02:18] agent with the child to make sure that
[00:02:20] this child was not alone. And then they
[00:02:23] turned this into the this child was
[00:02:24] bait. Well, it wasn't a bait for the
[00:02:26] arrest because the arrest they were
[00:02:27] making was a person in the car who then
[00:02:29] fled and those are the only two people
[00:02:31] who have been detained. So I guess it
[00:02:32] wasn't bait. I have I have a legal
[00:02:34] question for you, Blake. I know you're
[00:02:35] not a lawyer, but you play one on TV.
[00:02:37] The question if uh if a dad say it's a
[00:02:42] single dad he has a DUI and the cops
[00:02:45] pull him over does that father get
[00:02:47] separated from the child?
[00:02:49] >> You know it actually does happen doesn't
[00:02:51] it? Or or doesn't even need to be a DUI.
[00:02:53] If they want you for a murder, if they
[00:02:55] want you for a robbery, if they want you
[00:02:57] for tax evasion,
[00:02:58] >> lararseny, what whatever the is a sad
[00:03:01] truth. If you break the law, you are
[00:03:03] putting your children in danger and you
[00:03:05] should stop breaking the law. It's
[00:03:07] pretty obvious in today's day and age
[00:03:09] that if you are here in the country
[00:03:11] illegally, you're breaking the law and
[00:03:13] there will be consequences for it. Did
[00:03:15] you know that you could receive a free
[00:03:18] flight? No. A free flight and $2,600
[00:03:22] with the CBP one uh home app. If you
[00:03:26] just use the CBP home app, he wouldn't
[00:03:28] have been arrested. his poor 5-year-old
[00:03:30] kid. He wouldn't have abandoned him. By
[00:03:33] the way, that's the big E on the eye
[00:03:35] chart here. This peach of a father is
[00:03:37] the best father I've seen since, you
[00:03:40] know, Maryland dad. This this is not the
[00:03:43] type of if you have an illegal alien
[00:03:45] that is going is willing to abandon his
[00:03:48] son when federal law enforcement
[00:03:50] approaches him. First of all, he's a
[00:03:52] terrible dad. Flu season doesn't wait
[00:03:55] and neither should you. The smart move
[00:03:57] [music] is to prepare before anyone in
[00:03:58] your family gets sick. That's why we
[00:04:00] recommend All Family Pharmacy. They let
[00:04:02] you stock up ahead of time on tamlu,
[00:04:04] [music] antibiotics, antivirals,
[00:04:06] ivormectin, vitamins, and more delivered
[00:04:08] right to your door. And the best part,
[00:04:10] every order includes the doctor's
[00:04:12] prescriptions, [music] so there's no
[00:04:14] insurance hassles or lastminute pharmacy
[00:04:15] runs. Be proactive, not reactive.
[00:04:18] Prepare today. Visit allfamilyfarm
[00:04:20] pharmacy.com/kirk [music]
[00:04:22] and use code kirk10 to save 10% today.
[00:04:30] Let's just get the the the biggie on the
[00:04:32] eye chart out of the way. Terrible dad.
[00:04:34] You don't abandon your kid. Second of
[00:04:36] all, you're not going to want that
[00:04:38] quality of human being in this country
[00:04:40] as a second thought. If that's what he's
[00:04:42] teaching his kid that you just abandon
[00:04:43] people, you run away from your family.
[00:04:45] And third of all, if you're in the
[00:04:46] country illegally, I'm sorry, you're
[00:04:49] putting your whole family in jeopardy.
[00:04:51] So, yes, to your point, this c this DHS,
[00:04:54] I don't know if it was ICE or Yeah, I
[00:04:55] think it was an ICE officer remained
[00:04:57] with the child because that's what
[00:04:58] police officers do. They don't abandon
[00:05:00] children. Federal law enforcement does
[00:05:02] >> like it's just it's such an important
[00:05:04] thing that you you can't concede the
[00:05:05] ground to them. Like, the left wants you
[00:05:07] they want to get you into this
[00:05:08] psychological state of mind. Well, we'll
[00:05:11] read this tweet from Charlie in a sec.
[00:05:12] They want to get you in a state of mind
[00:05:14] where if like you have a child under the
[00:05:16] age of 10, you're immune from law
[00:05:19] enforcement because this child is sad
[00:05:21] and you feel sad when you see children
[00:05:23] and so you shouldn't do things that you
[00:05:25] obviously should do. Yeah, Charlie had a
[00:05:27] great tweet on this. This is all the way
[00:05:28] back in 2018. Instead of blaming the law
[00:05:31] enforcement agencies, ICE or Border
[00:05:32] Patrol, why not blame the parents for
[00:05:34] actually breaking the law? Thinking
[00:05:36] face. And he's exactly right. One of the
[00:05:39] reasons you shouldn't do bad things, one
[00:05:41] of the reasons you shouldn't commit
[00:05:42] crimes, one of the reasons you shouldn't
[00:05:43] be a drug addict. One of the reasons you
[00:05:45] shouldn't be a loser, if you're a
[00:05:47] parent, or even if you're not, it will
[00:05:49] hurt the people around you who are
[00:05:50] dependent on you. That is a reason you
[00:05:53] shouldn't do bad things. And this dad
[00:05:57] chose to break the law. He chose to
[00:05:59] remain here when it was very clear
[00:06:01] enforcement was happening, when there
[00:06:02] was a way he could have gotten free
[00:06:04] money to return to his home country. for
[00:06:07] that matter. He would have never been
[00:06:08] separated from his kid if he had not
[00:06:10] fled from ICE. He did all of those
[00:06:12] things and as a result wasn't great for
[00:06:15] his kid. The same way it wouldn't be
[00:06:16] great for his kid if he did any other
[00:06:18] crime. And we can't concede this
[00:06:20] completely fake framing to them that if
[00:06:23] there's kids, oh, they're magically
[00:06:24] immune from the law. One of the best
[00:06:25] lines, NPR News, a local Minnesota news
[00:06:28] thing, they they covered this. And of
[00:06:30] course, they don't really get much more
[00:06:32] than a side statement from ICE. It's
[00:06:34] entirely the framing of course, oh the
[00:06:36] the schools are horrified. And then they
[00:06:38] talk to their lawyer, this Mark Proash,
[00:06:41] a lawyer representing the Ramos family.
[00:06:43] He said he's not sure of the exact
[00:06:45] whereabouts, but they're probably in
[00:06:46] Texas. And they they have him go on. He
[00:06:48] says, "It's cruelty. It's evil. It's
[00:06:51] it's all so bad." And then at the end of
[00:06:53] the interview with him, they say, "Asked
[00:06:55] if the 5-year-old's detainment was
[00:06:56] legal." Proos said, "Probably not.
[00:06:59] That's what's going to make my job
[00:07:01] really difficult. But just because
[00:07:02] something is legal doesn't mean it's
[00:07:04] moral. Oh, so they didn't break the law
[00:07:05] at all. It's entirely legal to detain
[00:07:07] children when you're arresting their
[00:07:09] parents for illegally being in the
[00:07:10] country. And in fact, if you're going to
[00:07:12] deport them, as ISIS pointed out,
[00:07:14] they're going to get two options. If
[00:07:15] that child is a citizen, they can be
[00:07:18] placed with someone that they trust, a
[00:07:20] trusted adult, or you can choose to have
[00:07:22] them deported with you if you would
[00:07:23] prefer to remain with them. They get a
[00:07:25] choice.
[00:07:25] >> No. And you have to understand the
[00:07:26] subtext here is they are going to claim
[00:07:28] that what they're really communicating
[00:07:30] here and I want you to see the slide of
[00:07:32] hand is that they're basically saying
[00:07:34] that this guy was illegal but he's not a
[00:07:36] criminal. No, you're guilty of being a
[00:07:38] criminal if you it's called breaking and
[00:07:41] entering. You broken entered into our
[00:07:42] country and you're not welcome. Okay? So
[00:07:45] we have to keep the main thing the main
[00:07:46] thing. There is a baseline. You're a
[00:07:48] criminal if you enter this country
[00:07:50] illegally. Okay? But even in Exodus
[00:07:52] 12:49, this is all biblical folks. It
[00:07:55] says the sojourer, so a foreigner is to
[00:07:58] abide the law of the land. The same law
[00:08:00] applies to both the nativeborn and the
[00:08:02] foreigner residing among you. There's
[00:08:04] biblical precedents for this. They are
[00:08:06] required to abide by the law of the
[00:08:08] land. And so, we just need to get back
[00:08:10] to basics. I'm sorry, this 5-year-old
[00:08:12] got banned by his his father. Blame the
[00:08:14] father for that.
