[00:00:00] ask about uh the what you call the
[00:00:04] PayPal mafia. Uh Palmer Lucky uh who uh
[00:00:09] he uh he was a teal fellow who founded
[00:00:12] Oracle 2012 before it was purchased by
[00:00:15] Meta
[00:00:16] >> uh Zuckerberg, Sam Alman, JD Vance, Elon
[00:00:20] Musk. Talk about that little cabal.
[00:00:24] >> Yeah, well they are quite the cabal. So
[00:00:26] first of all, PayPal mafia. It's
[00:00:27] important to point out what PayPal is.
[00:00:29] So, PayPal is most uh widely known,
[00:00:33] right, to have been a project of Peter
[00:00:34] Teal and Elon Musk, but uh it was
[00:00:36] originally a combination of Peter Teal's
[00:00:38] Confinity and Elon Musk X.com. And when
[00:00:42] Peter Teal was setting up this proto
[00:00:44] PayPal, he and his co-founders openly uh
[00:00:47] they've admitted this consulted with
[00:00:49] every three-letter agency in the US
[00:00:50] government that would talk to them about
[00:00:52] developing their product before they
[00:00:54] launched it. And then they team up with
[00:00:56] Elon Musk Musk and X and create you know
[00:00:59] this um uh some I mean it basically
[00:01:02] dollarized the internet
[00:01:05] um made the dollar the de facto currency
[00:01:07] of the internet um and uh had a very
[00:01:11] huge uh reverberations for the early uh
[00:01:15] fintech space but of course as I just
[00:01:17] said uh they did this hand inand uh with
[00:01:21] the US government and then it you know
[00:01:23] it's really no surprise that you see you
[00:01:25] know when it's sold when they sell
[00:01:26] PayPal to Pierro Midiar um of eBay you
[00:01:30] know Peter Teal moves into the you know
[00:01:33] moves into this effort to privatize
[00:01:35] total information awareness the
[00:01:36] algorithm for Palunteer having started
[00:01:39] as PayPal's anti-fraud algorithm uh
[00:01:42] initially and then being developed to
[00:01:44] become what it is uh today and so since
[00:01:47] then uh you have a whole uh network of
[00:01:51] people that have uh either been uh
[00:01:54] proteges of these figures or worked at
[00:01:57] one point for PayPal, for example, the
[00:01:59] current AI and crypto, uh, Zar at the
[00:02:02] White House, David Saxs, former uh top
[00:02:05] executive at PayPal with Teal um, and
[00:02:08] and all of these other people. Um, and
[00:02:11] of of course JD Vance, the current vice
[00:02:13] president, um, is intimately connected,
[00:02:16] uh, to Peter Teal. whole uh career in VC
[00:02:19] uh is entirely responsible uh uh you
[00:02:23] know Peter Teal's entirely responsible
[00:02:25] for that. Um and also uh Teal was uh the
[00:02:28] main donor to a lot of his political
[00:02:30] campaigns and he would not be the vice
[00:02:32] president if it wasn't for uh Peter
[00:02:35] Teal. He wouldn't even be a politician
[00:02:37] probably. So um Teal's influence is
[00:02:39] incredibly significant. It was also
[00:02:41] arguably significant during the first
[00:02:43] Trump administration. Uh but um you know
[00:02:46] I think now it's quite clear that this
[00:02:48] is uh you know the PayPal mafia's uh
[00:02:51] moment. Um you've had um these
[00:02:53] particular figures have an extremely
[00:02:56] significant influence on US government
[00:02:58] policy uh over you know since January.
[00:03:02] Um including the um extreme distribution
[00:03:05] of AI throughout the US government. Um,
[00:03:09] and this includes not just well-known
[00:03:11] figures of the PayPal mafia, but people,
[00:03:13] you know, a lot of uh former uh people
[00:03:16] employees for Palunteer um have been
[00:03:18] placed uh throughout uh you know, maybe
[00:03:20] positions throughout the US government
[00:03:22] that you don't think a lot about or most
[00:03:24] people don't think a lot about. Um you
[00:03:25] know, chief information officers of
[00:03:27] various departments and things like
[00:03:29] that. Um you know, there's a
[00:03:30] considerable
[00:03:32] very considerable amount of influence.
[00:03:34] And what I find particularly troubling
[00:03:36] about this is that a lot of these PayPal
[00:03:38] mafia figures um Teal Musk and and Vance
[00:03:43] among others are extremely close uh to
[00:03:46] or acolytes really of the philosophy
[00:03:49] advocated uh by a fellow named Curtis
[00:03:51] Yarvin who's a political philosophy is
[00:03:55] essentially that um you know the the way
[00:03:58] to solve uh the uh problems of our
[00:04:01] current current system and current
[00:04:03] bureaucracy
[00:04:04] uh is to basically completely privatize
[00:04:07] the state and install a CEO in place of
[00:04:10] the president who would rule essentially
[00:04:12] as a dictator. Um which is uh completely
[00:04:17] uh bonkers and it's amazing that people
[00:04:20] um you know have allowed uh people like
[00:04:22] Peter Teal or even Yarvin himself to
[00:04:24] masquerade as so-called libertarians
[00:04:26] when uh they're very in favor of the
[00:04:29] authoritarian uh abilities of the state.
[00:04:32] they just want to uh sufficiently
[00:04:35] privatize it uh before allowing you that
[00:04:39] authoritarianism to to continue and
[00:04:41] expand. And you can uh also see how a
[00:04:44] lot of these people are also, you know,
[00:04:46] war proeteers, a palunteer, of course.
[00:04:48] Not only is this tool of mass
[00:04:50] surveillance, it's a tool of mass murder
[00:04:52] used by uh the US army and also by the
[00:04:55] IDF to decide who lives and who dies in
[00:04:57] Gaza. um and a lot of these other um
[00:05:01] people that have been teal proteges for
[00:05:03] example like Palmer Lucky um in in
[00:05:06] Anderil which he co- which Lucky
[00:05:08] co-founded with Trey Stevens who's also
[00:05:10] affiliated with uh the aforementioned
[00:05:12] Epsteinf funded uh carbine 911 um you
[00:05:16] know Anderil is uh ushering in this era
[00:05:18] of autonomous warfare uh and bankrolled
[00:05:22] of course by Peter Teal um and they're
[00:05:24] also uh developing the so-called smart
[00:05:27] wall on the US Mexico border. Um, and
[00:05:31] really, you know, these people are
[00:05:32] developing very Orwellian uh, disturbing
[00:05:35] systems with not just domestic
[00:05:37] implications, but also very significant
[00:05:39] um, implications to how the US uh,
[00:05:41] military and other militaries uh,
[00:05:44] operate um, abroad and it's extremely
[00:05:47] disturbing um, to say the very least.
[00:05:49] And a lot of their branding is, you
[00:05:51] know, we're America first and so we
[00:05:53] should replace the old, uh, you know,
[00:05:55] defense contractor giants like Loheed
[00:05:57] Martin, um, uh, for example, or General
[00:06:00] Dynamics and these and these entities
[00:06:02] and framing that as a good thing. This
[00:06:04] is how we're going to defeat the deep
[00:06:06] state, right? Uh, we're going to remove
[00:06:08] these, it's correct that they're corrupt
[00:06:10] and and and terrible uh, companies that
[00:06:12] have enabled terrible things. Uh, but
[00:06:15] it's not like Anderil won't enable the
[00:06:18] same sort of thing. it'll just enable it
[00:06:20] more efficiently and at greater scale
[00:06:22] and with less humans involved. And is
[00:06:25] that necessarily better? Uh, I don't
[00:06:28] really think so. And when you consider
[00:06:30] too that you have, you know, the current
[00:06:32] Secretary of War since it's been
[00:06:35] recently renamed and Pete Haggsith
[00:06:37] coming out and basically saying the
[00:06:39] massacre of Wounded Knee, the soldiers
[00:06:41] that did that should have their, you
[00:06:43] know, medals restored and and all of
[00:06:46] this, you know, it's basically trying to
[00:06:48] be anti-woke by saying, you know,
[00:06:51] conflating American culture with war
[00:06:53] crimes at the same time that we're
[00:06:55] developing all of this autonomous
[00:06:57] technology uh that allows that would
[00:06:59] allow these people to conduct more war
[00:07:01] crimes than ever before. So, you know,
[00:07:04] under this guise of we're making the
[00:07:05] government more efficient, what aspects
[00:07:07] of the government are these people in
[00:07:09] the PayPal mafia actually making more
[00:07:12] efficient? Well, one of them is mass
[00:07:13] murder. And uh unfortunately, you don't
[00:07:16] hear enough uh about this and presumably
[00:07:20] a lot of people that wanted the
[00:07:22] destruction of the so-called deep state
[00:07:24] under Trump didn't want these things to
[00:07:26] expand and continue. But they absolutely
[00:07:28] are.
