[00:00:01] Ladies and gentlemen, the first lady of [00:00:03] the United States, Melania Trump. [00:00:13] [music] [00:00:20] [music] [00:00:36] Good afternoon. [00:00:39] >> Hello. And thank you for your warm [00:00:42] welcome. The president and I are [00:00:45] grateful to be with you to honor the [00:00:48] passion you share through unmatched [00:00:50] bravery, resilience, and service to our [00:00:54] great nation. [00:00:56] Thank you for defending our freedom. [00:01:00] It is with immense pleasure for me to [00:01:03] address the Fort Bragg and Pope Army [00:01:05] Arfield community today to our great [00:01:09] armed forces of the United States [00:01:11] station all over the world. I have a [00:01:14] nostalgia field message. Happy [00:01:17] Valentine's Day. [00:01:22] Love letters have symbolized the union [00:01:25] of patriotism and family devotion among [00:01:28] our soldiers for 250 years. The harmony [00:01:33] of love of country and love of family is [00:01:37] what make us uniquely American. [00:01:42] It is very balanced which strengthens [00:01:45] our military and builds our communities. [00:01:50] And now it is my distinct honor to [00:01:54] introduce your commanderin-chief, [00:01:57] our leader who maintains a mission of [00:02:00] peace through strength, President Donald [00:02:04] J. Trump. [00:02:07] [music] [00:02:10] [singing] [00:02:10] >> I know I'm free. [music] And I won't [00:02:14] forget the men who died, who gave that [00:02:17] right to me. [00:02:18] >> [music] [00:02:18] >> And I gladly stand up next to you and [00:02:23] defend her still today. [00:02:26] Cuz there ain't no [music] doubt I love [00:02:28] this land. [00:02:31] God bless the USA. [music] [00:02:46] [music] From the lakes of Minnesota [00:02:49] to the hills of [music] Tennessee. [00:02:54] [cheering] [00:03:01] >> [cheering] [00:03:03] >> Thank you everybody. I love that song. I [00:03:05] must tell you I was really referring to [00:03:07] the song. They turned it off. That's [00:03:10] terrible. But that's all right, honey. [00:03:12] Thank you very much. Appreciate it. [00:03:14] Please. [00:03:17] >> So, we have uh an amazing group of [00:03:21] people before me. Amazing. And uh very [00:03:25] proud of you. Somebody said, I was just [00:03:27] watching a little news coming down. They [00:03:29] said, "Oh, it's amazing he can find the [00:03:30] time in his busy schedule." Believe me, [00:03:32] you have you're the time. My schedule's [00:03:35] not the time. Although, we do have a [00:03:37] couple of interesting things happening. [00:03:39] We just had fantastic reports on [00:03:42] inflation way down. Costs of products [00:03:45] way down. We inherited a mess, total [00:03:47] mess, and now it's really coming along. [00:03:50] We have the greatest numbers that we've [00:03:53] ever had. We're hitting all-time high [00:03:55] stock numbers. We're hitting uh all-time [00:03:58] high S&P and Dow numbers. You saw that a [00:04:01] few days ago, the end of the first year. [00:04:04] They said that it was going to take [00:04:06] maybe four years, the end of the term to [00:04:09] hit 50,000 on the Dow. We did it in one [00:04:12] year. [screaming] And [cheering] [00:04:15] and likewise, to hit 7,000 on the S&P [00:04:18] was going to take at least four years. [00:04:19] Could be five or six. We did it in one [00:04:21] year. So, and all I know is forget about [00:04:25] the stock market, forget about Wall [00:04:26] Street. Your your 401ks are doing very [00:04:30] well. I don't have to ask you, is [00:04:32] anybody doing poorly with their 401k? If [00:04:35] they were, you're a pretty bad investor, [00:04:36] I'll tell you. But I want to thank [00:04:39] Melania. Our country is truly blessed to [00:04:41] have such a phenomenal [00:04:44] first lady. [cheering] [00:04:47] And now she's a movie star on top. Can [00:04:49] you believe? She did. She did a movie. [00:04:52] It's the hottest thing you've ever It's. [00:04:54] It's crazy. Congratulations, by the way. [00:04:57] Very good. You know who loves that [00:04:59] movie? The ladies. They go see it three, [00:05:00] four times. That's what I heard. They go [00:05:02] see it with the husband. Husband really [00:05:03] likes it a lot, but the women go back [00:05:05] and see it. But, uh, she's a great first [00:05:08] lady. And I'm thrilled to be back. One [00:05:11] of the greatest and most celebrated [00:05:13] military bases in the history of the [00:05:16] world, Fort Bragg. We have your name [00:05:19] back. [cheering] [00:05:22] >> We got your name back from the radical [00:05:24] left. The radical left is not happy [00:05:26] about it. It's another reason you have [00:05:28] to vote for us because they'll change it [00:05:30] back to whatever it might be. This is [00:05:32] the home of the legendary Green Beretss, [00:05:35] the home of the Sky Dragons and the [00:05:38] All-American 82nd Airborne. [00:05:42] And in particular, I hear that we are [00:05:44] joined by many exceptional soldiers from [00:05:47] the first brigade combat team, also [00:05:51] known as the devils in baggy pants. [00:05:53] What's that all about? [00:05:55] >> The devils. They are devils. And you are [00:05:56] devils. I was. And I have no higher [00:06:00] honor in life than to be your [00:06:02] commander-in-chief. I'm so proud of you [00:06:04] all. And so, let me begin by saying a [00:06:07] very, very big thank you to our great [00:06:08] warriors and the men and women of the [00:06:11] United States Army. Unbelievable. [00:06:14] Very special thanks also to all of the [00:06:16] incredible military families who are [00:06:18] here today. You know, without that [00:06:19] family, uh, our soldiers would not be [00:06:22] the same. It's a whole big deal. I don't [00:06:25] think they get enough credit, but they [00:06:26] do get credit with me. That's why I sent [00:06:29] you 1776 a couple of weeks ago, a little [00:06:33] while ago. [00:06:35] We had a lot of money coming into our [00:06:37] country from tariffs and I said, "Let's [00:06:40] send a little to ours." So, you know, [00:06:41] they came in, they said, "Sir, we can do [00:06:44] 1,775." [00:06:46] I said, "Oh, that's good." They put the [00:06:48] number. I said, "You know, if we add one [00:06:49] more dollar, it's 1776." I said, "Add a [00:06:52] dollar. Add a dollar." Did everybody get [00:06:56] 1776? I think so. Right. [cheering] [00:07:00] >> You think the Democrats would have done [00:07:02] that? Forget it. [00:07:03] But it's really because of your [00:07:05] incredible sacrifices to keep America [00:07:08] safe and free. There's nobody more [00:07:09] respected than the people in this room. [00:07:12] We're also joined by General Gregory [00:07:14] Anderson, General Brandom Tagmire, [00:07:18] Secretary Howard Lutnik, Senator Ted [00:07:21] Bud. He's doing a fantastic job, too. [00:07:24] members of Congress, Mark Harris, Pat [00:07:27] Harrian, Brad Not David Rouser, Addison [00:07:31] McDow, and your own congressman from [00:07:34] right here in the district. A really [00:07:37] great guy. He's a real leader, too. [00:07:39] Richard Hudson. Where are they? Where [00:07:41] are they all? Look at them. They're all [00:07:43] dressed up. They have to be nice to you [00:07:45] because without your vote, forget it. [00:07:47] They're out of They're out of [00:07:49] commission, right, fellas? [00:07:51] >> But what a good job. And Richard, this [00:07:52] is your area. Congratulations. He's [00:07:54] always bugging me for more money for [00:07:55] Fort Bragg. I say, "Richard, get off my [00:07:58] back." And we're going to do that. You [00:08:00] know, they're talking about a big [00:08:01] compound, right? And we're going to get [00:08:02] that done. We're going to get it done [00:08:04] for you. Now, if the Democrats get in, [00:08:06] it's not going to happen. I guarantee [00:08:07] you that. But we're going to get that [00:08:09] done. That's your pri number one [00:08:10] priority, I think. Richard Hudson. So, [00:08:14] uh, you have another man who is running [00:08:19] for the Senate who is phenomenal. The [00:08:22] only thing is he's not as well known. He [00:08:23] was behind the scenes. He was the head [00:08:25] of my three campaigns. I won all three [00:08:27] times here by a lot. It wasn't even [00:08:29] close. And he was responsible along with [00:08:33] Laura Trump. Laura is fantastic. Born [00:08:36] here and loves the area, but they work [00:08:38] together. But Michael Watley, if he's [00:08:40] here, I don't know. Michael. Michael. [00:08:42] Michael, will you come here for a [00:08:43] second, please? [00:08:45] He's running for the Senate. And if he [00:08:48] gets in, you're going to be taken care [00:08:49] of. if he doesn't get in, we're going to [00:08:50] be stripping the military like they [00:08:52] always do, the Democrats. This is a man [00:08:55] who was the head of North Carolina. So, [00:08:58] he did so well that I said, "Who is that [00:09:01] guy that did so well?" Because when it [00:09:03] came time to picking the head of the [00:09:06] Republican party, I picked him. And you [00:09:09] saw what happened in the last election. [00:09:10] We won in a landslide. We won every [00:09:12] swing state, all seven swing states. We [00:09:14] won by millions of votes to popular [00:09:16] vote. You know, the first time I won, [00:09:18] but I they say I didn't win the popular [00:09:20] vote. You know, I did. I won it by a [00:09:22] lot, but they say I didn't. So, every [00:09:24] time they'd introduce Donald Trump, who [00:09:26] didn't win the popular vote, but he, you [00:09:28] know, whatever. This I was always I [00:09:30] said, I don't ever want that to happen [00:09:32] again. But we did. We won everything. [00:09:34] And this is a man that was in charge of [00:09:36] this state. He did so well here. There [00:09:38] was nobody else that I even considered [00:09:40] to run the RNC. That's the whole [00:09:43] country. And we had a big big victory [00:09:46] just recently that you know very well. A [00:09:48] victory like they've never seen. So I'd [00:09:50] just like you to say a couple of words. [00:09:51] Michael, congratulations. [00:09:53] >> Thank you. Good to see you. [00:09:56] In 2015, [00:09:59] Donald Trump came down an escalator and [00:10:02] said that he was going to make America [00:10:04] great, that he was going to protect our [00:10:06] country, that he was going to make sure [00:10:09] that our men and women in uniform had [00:10:12] what they needed to protect our [00:10:14] interests and our allies around the [00:10:16] world. And North Carolina stood up and [00:10:19] said, "That's our guy." And in his term [00:10:23] in office and in this term in office, [00:10:26] there has never been a president who has [00:10:28] fought for Fort Bragg, who has fought [00:10:30] for the men and women in uniform in [00:10:32] North Carolina, as well as our veterans [00:10:35] more and harder and better than Donald [00:10:38] J. Trump, our 45th and 47th president of [00:10:42] the United States of America. [00:10:45] I am thrilled that he has work asked me [00:10:48] to run for Senate in North Carolina and [00:10:51] is giving me an opportunity to represent [00:10:54] you and to fight for you and every other [00:10:58] base that we have in this great state to [00:11:01] protect our interests, to make sure that [00:11:04] America and our allies are going to be [00:11:07] protected because the highest most [00:11:09] important function for any government is [00:11:12] to keep its communities ities and its [00:11:14] citizens safe. And we have the best [00:11:17] president right now to do that and I am [00:11:21] honored to be with him today. Thank you. [00:11:23] >> Thank you. [00:11:24] >> Thank you. [00:11:26] [applause] [00:11:28] >> And the word is he's doing really well. [00:11:30] But when I heard they were taking the [00:11:31] name Fort Bragg off, I said, "No, no, [00:11:33] no, no. They're kidding. They're not [00:11:34] going to They did. They took the name [00:11:36] off. We got it back very quickly. But [00:11:38] they took it off. And if we don't win [00:11:41] the midterms, they'll take it off again. [00:11:43] they'll take it off again. You can't let [00:11:44] that happen. And this man is [00:11:46] exceptional. I'll tell you right now. [00:11:48] So, with the help of everyone in this [00:11:49] room, America has the strongest military [00:11:52] on the face of the earth. We re rebuilt [00:11:54] it. We really did. We rebuilt it in my [00:11:56] first term. We had a great first term. [00:11:58] We had the best economy in history, but [00:12:00] this is blowing it away. But we had a [00:12:02] great economy in the first term. We did [00:12:05] everything. But we really created a [00:12:07] tremendous military. Now, some of it was [00:12:10] given away. actually a lot but small [00:12:12] compared to what we did to Afghanistan. [00:12:15] You remember that where they left all [00:12:16] the military equipment behind. We didn't [00:12:18] we wouldn't have left anything. We were [00:12:19] going to get out with dignity and [00:12:21] strength, respect. We uh looked like we [00:12:24] were running. We don't run from anybody. [00:12:27] That was a Biden embarrassment. What a [00:12:29] what a terrible president. But we came [00:12:32] back and we uh already have rebuilt our [00:12:35] military to stronger than it was even [00:12:37] then. And we don't leave equipment [00:12:39] behind. We don't leave jets behind. I [00:12:41] said, "Why do you leave those jets [00:12:42] behind?" "Sir, I thought it was cheaper [00:12:44] to leave it behind." You know, $150 [00:12:46] million plane. All they had to do is put [00:12:48] a little jet fuel in there and fly it to [00:12:50] wherever they want to fly it. These [00:12:51] people were the worst. We can't let it [00:12:54] happen again. Our military, if the [00:12:55] Democrats get in, will be severely [00:12:59] miserved. [00:13:00] But we rebuilt it in my first term, and [00:13:02] now we're making it stronger and bigger [00:13:05] and better than ever before. The [00:13:06] recruiting is through the roof. You know [00:13:08] that after years of recruiting [00:13:09] shortfalls, as an example, new [00:13:12] enlistments have soared to record highs. [00:13:14] We had a year and a half ago, nobody [00:13:16] wanted to join the military. They didn't [00:13:17] want to join the army. You know that it [00:13:20] was like terrible. They didn't want to [00:13:24] join the army, the navy, the air force, [00:13:25] the marines, the coast guard, or my [00:13:28] beloved, [00:13:30] how about that space force. Do we like [00:13:32] space force? It's turning out to be very [00:13:34] important. But they tried to end that. [00:13:37] And actually the military refused to [00:13:38] allow that to happen. But they you [00:13:41] couldn't get people to join. And as soon [00:13:43] as we won the election, that election [00:13:46] took place in November 5th. From [00:13:47] November 5th on, it was like a miracle. [00:13:50] Now we have waiting lists for every [00:13:52] branch of the military. Waiting list of [00:13:54] people to get in. In other words, your [00:13:56] jobs are wanted by everybody. And isn't [00:14:00] that a better feeling? I'm looking at [00:14:02] the smiling faces. We got a lot of [00:14:04] smiling faces. You should be smiling. [00:14:06] Last year, the Navy and Air Force and [00:14:10] Space Force all surpassed their [00:14:12] recruiting goals by five months early [00:14:16] and the numbers are through the roof. In [00:14:18] fact, be a very good time to expand. You [00:14:20] know, it's a good time to expand. But [00:14:22] the Army did even better than the others [00:14:25] and you shattered your annual [00:14:26] recruitment by uh almost five months and [00:14:31] lots of days. But more importantly, the [00:14:33] number and the quality of recruit has [00:14:35] never been higher. This year, the army [00:14:37] is beating its recruitment goal by 116%. [00:14:42] And uh I'm very proud of that. I was [00:14:44] very embarrassed for a period of years [00:14:47] as I watched how badly this country was [00:14:50] run, standing outside and hearing [00:14:52] constantly that we couldn't get people [00:14:54] to join our our great forces. We ended [00:14:58] the scourge of political correctness in [00:15:01] our military. We renamed the Department [00:15:04] of Defense to the Department of War. [00:15:06] Think of it. We won World War I. We won [00:15:09] everything. World War II and everything [00:15:12] before, during, and a little bit after, [00:15:16] except we fought a little bit [00:15:17] differently. We fought to be politically [00:15:20] correct. We We were a politically [00:15:22] correct force with the presidents. But [00:15:25] now we have a real force and you see [00:15:27] that with uh what we did in Iran with [00:15:31] the B2 bombers. A lot of you were [00:15:34] involved in that. And what we did [00:15:36] recently in Venezuela, nobody ever saw [00:15:38] anything like that happen. A Venezuelan [00:15:40] general who was on the site, but he [00:15:42] moved out fast enough that he lived [00:15:45] because most of them didn't. But he was [00:15:46] on the site. He said, "We we were [00:15:48] totally prepared. We saw the planes [00:15:50] coming. We saw everything coming. You [00:15:52] know, they're a good strong force. [00:15:54] And he said, "We got hit like nobody's." [00:15:57] They were hit from 17 different [00:15:59] directions. They said, "There's never [00:16:00] been anything like that. It was over in [00:16:02] like literally a minute. Everybody was [00:16:04] running for the hills." And uh that's [00:16:07] what we have. We have the strongest [00:16:09] military in the world by far. We have [00:16:10] the best equipment. We have the greatest [00:16:13] people, soldiers. [00:16:15] We brought back merit as the sole [00:16:18] consideration for advancement and [00:16:20] promotion in our military. We won the [00:16:21] Supreme Court case. Shockingly, in that [00:16:23] case, it took courage to come up with [00:16:26] that decision. It's based on merit. Now, [00:16:29] you want to get into a college, it's [00:16:30] based on merit. It's not based on [00:16:32] anything else. You want to get into the [00:16:34] military, got to have a little muscle. [00:16:37] You got to be strong like these people. [00:16:40] It's like you're like central casting. [00:16:42] I'm looking at all these beautiful [00:16:43] looking people, but you have to be a [00:16:46] certain type to do well. And uh we were [00:16:49] taking anybody that wanted to get in [00:16:52] because we wanted to be politically [00:16:53] correct. No, no, it's based on merit. [00:16:55] Now you get into the military based on [00:16:57] merit and other places also based on [00:16:59] merit. There might be advantages to [00:17:01] other people in other fields, but this [00:17:04] is all based on merit. As long as I'm [00:17:06] president, we will be the best led, the [00:17:09] best trained, the best equipped, the [00:17:11] most disciplined, and the most elite [00:17:14] fighting force the world has ever seen. [00:17:16] That's what we've turned out to be. And [00:17:17] everybody knows it. They all know it. [00:17:20] Every every country knows it. I speak to [00:17:22] all of them. They know exactly what they [00:17:24] would be up against. Hopefully, we'll [00:17:26] never have to test them. [00:17:28] And because of our strength and because [00:17:30] of what we do, we probably won't have to [00:17:33] be tested. That's why this year we're [00:17:36] investing also $1 trillion in our armed [00:17:40] forces, most we've ever spent. And next [00:17:42] year it's being raised. In fact, we're [00:17:44] going to be building a number of [00:17:47] battleships. You ever hear of [00:17:48] battleship? You know, World War II. You [00:17:50] saw those big ships, the Iowa, the [00:17:52] Alabama, the Missouri, they're going [00:17:54] there, sailing through that water like [00:17:56] it's nothing. Those big waves are [00:17:57] crashing under the front. The hulls are [00:18:00] made of seven inches of steel, not [00:18:02] aluminum. Aluminum is fine, by the way. [00:18:04] I don't want to hurt the industry. We're [00:18:06] doing very well, but I'll take steel. [00:18:08] And it's going through those waves like [00:18:10] it's a hot knife through butter, right? [00:18:14] And uh it was incredible. It was a great [00:18:18] thing. It was a great act of beauty when [00:18:21] you looked at that the scenes victory at [00:18:22] sea. I don't know if any has anyone ever [00:18:24] seen victory at sea? Probably the ones [00:18:26] that have would have joined the armed [00:18:27] forces when you have but victory at sea. [00:18:30] And you looked at those battleships. So [00:18:32] now we're building 10 of them. Initial [00:18:35] order 10. And I said, "What about [00:18:38] reinstating the old ships? We have some [00:18:40] of them in dry dock. Some of them are [00:18:42] museums right now like the Iowa and [00:18:46] Rancho Palace Veries in California. You [00:18:48] have a couple of them and they're still [00:18:50] very powerful looking to me." So I said, [00:18:53] "What about bringing them back?" They [00:18:55] said, "Sir, you'd be no good. Why do you [00:18:57] say that? The new battleship that we [00:19:00] have, which I've seen and helped design, [00:19:02] I put a little more spirit in the hull. [00:19:04] A little more. Give me a little bit more [00:19:06] hull and I want that ship to look [00:19:08] gorgeous. You know, forget about [00:19:10] stealth. They say, "Oh, it's stealth." [00:19:12] They design ugly equipment for stealth. [00:19:14] Well, we're designing greatl looking [00:19:15] equipment, also stealth. But I said, uh, [00:19:19] well, what about bringing them back, [00:19:21] sir? The new ships, the new battleships [00:19:23] that we have almost very soon under [00:19:26] construction will be, listen to this, [00:19:29] 100 times more powerful than the ships [00:19:32] that we got to see in the 1940s. Think [00:19:35] of that. 100 times more powerful. We [00:19:38] need that. This way nobody messes with [00:19:40] us, right? We need it. For every service [00:19:42] member in our military, this historic [00:19:44] investment also includes a well-deserved [00:19:47] acrosstheboard pay raise, not including [00:19:50] 1776. [00:19:52] And at my request, just before [00:19:53] Christmas, we did the uh and really in [00:19:56] honor of the 250th anniversary, we did [00:20:00] that little special payment which [00:20:01] everybody appreciated and it was an [00:20:03] honor for me to do it. As part of the [00:20:05] one big beautiful bill that we got [00:20:07] approved, which was amazing because it [00:20:09] really encompasses all four years of the [00:20:11] term. We'll also be investing over a [00:20:15] billion dollars to improve onbase [00:20:16] housing and a lot more than that at Fort [00:20:19] Bragg. We're going to be doing if we get [00:20:21] the congressman's wish, we're going to [00:20:23] be doing a lot more than that. We're [00:20:25] also going to spend billions of dollars [00:20:28] on improving here and around the area. [00:20:32] We're going to make it great because the [00:20:33] people in this area have been so [00:20:35] incredible. The spirit they had when [00:20:37] they changed the name of this base, the [00:20:39] spirit, not even military people, they [00:20:41] were so proud of that name Bragg. They [00:20:44] said we have to we have to bring it back [00:20:46] and keep this the area safe. It's a [00:20:49] great area. In fact, I'm thinking about [00:20:50] moving here someday. Maybe I'll maybe [00:20:52] I'll move here with our great movie [00:20:55] star. We'll move here with our first [00:20:57] lady. We'll move to Fort Bragg. Would [00:20:59] you like that, darling? [00:21:00] >> Very much. [00:21:01] >> She loves you. It's a possibility. [00:21:04] Actually, that's not a bad idea because [00:21:07] we love it. But we want to keep this [00:21:09] area safe and we can't do that without [00:21:12] the leaders and uh your exgovernor is [00:21:16] not one of them. It'd be a disaster if [00:21:17] he got in. One of the things that I just [00:21:20] mentioned and saw, you saw the monster [00:21:24] that killed an innocent young Ukrainian [00:21:26] girl a couple of months ago slitting her [00:21:29] throat from behind. And this was the [00:21:31] man, the governor that allowed this man [00:21:33] to get out and to do that. We don't do [00:21:36] that. We don't do that. Everybody knew [00:21:38] he was trouble. Many, many crimes. One [00:21:40] of the worst passs I've ever seen. And [00:21:42] she sat down. She had her throat slit. [00:21:45] And that's not going to happen with [00:21:47] Michael Watley. that I can tell you. So, [00:21:49] I just want to tell you it's very [00:21:51] important because our military has to be [00:21:52] protected. Our people have to be [00:21:54] protected and they will decimate our [00:21:57] military every time you come in as a [00:21:58] Republican. A lot of Republicans, they [00:22:00] come in, they don't do anything about [00:22:01] it. I do beyond what anyone's ever done, [00:22:04] not even close to give you all of the [00:22:07] equipment you need. We're also [00:22:08] purchasing 30 new and modified Abrams [00:22:11] tanks. Still the best tank, right? still [00:22:14] was named in honor of Stacy Abrams. [00:22:20] Only a few very political people would [00:22:22] understand that. Congratulations. Thank [00:22:24] you very much for a great name, Stacy. [00:22:27] But brand new Abrams tanks, 48 new [00:22:29] Blackhawk, Chinook, and King Stallion [00:22:32] helicopters, the best in the world, the [00:22:34] latest equipment, and 86 armored [00:22:36] multi-purpose fighting vehicles. All of [00:22:39] the things that you've been wanting to [00:22:40] get, all brand new. And I only we're [00:22:43] going to be reviving our strength. We're [00:22:46] going to be doing many other things that [00:22:48] nobody thought was even possible. We're [00:22:51] actually using that strength to defend [00:22:52] the core and vital interests of the [00:22:54] United States. And very simply put, [00:22:58] America first. You know, it's all about [00:23:00] America first. We were putting America [00:23:01] last. These people that were running our [00:23:04] country were putting us last. We're now [00:23:07] America first. And we'll help other [00:23:09] countries. We have a very good [00:23:10] relationship with NATO, but NATO took [00:23:12] advantage of us for many years. We were [00:23:14] paying for almost 100% of NATO. Now [00:23:16] they're paying their own bills. I got [00:23:18] them to pay. We took them from not [00:23:20] paying 2% GDP to paying in full 5% GDP. [00:23:25] Big difference. Like day and night. With [00:23:27] the help of our military, we stopped the [00:23:29] invasion on our southern border for nine [00:23:32] straight months. Zero illegal aliens [00:23:34] have been admitted into the United [00:23:36] States. And that's done by the radical [00:23:38] left. Those charts are made up by the [00:23:39] radical left. So I can't imagine that [00:23:41] they could be wrong because it seems [00:23:43] hard to believe we could have had zero. [00:23:45] My friends, these are early supporters. [00:23:47] I have so many supporters up here. How [00:23:49] the hell did you get into the military [00:23:50] base? It's amazing. I'm a little worried [00:23:53] about that. Let's check security. But [00:23:55] no, I have so many, you know, I have uh [00:23:57] women from North Carolina. It's about 50 [00:24:00] or 60 of them. And they followed me all [00:24:02] over the place. Where are they? They got [00:24:06] to be here. Be Oh, yeah. There they are. [00:24:08] They're great. Oh, there they are. They [00:24:10] uh there are sometimes 50 and I don't [00:24:13] know what the hell's going on with their [00:24:15] husband because they're, you know, [00:24:16] traveling to California. They're all [00:24:17] over the place. But they've gone to [00:24:19] almost 200 rallies and it's uh it's so [00:24:23] it's so great. It's so great. We have [00:24:25] Susie Wilds here also who's the first [00:24:28] female [00:24:30] chief of staff and she's done a [00:24:32] fantastic job and she's standing right [00:24:34] next to those great patriots from North [00:24:36] Carolina. No, they would go all over. It [00:24:38] didn't matter where I was. Sometimes I'd [00:24:39] see him like I met a speech in London. [00:24:41] They ended up being they must be pretty [00:24:43] wealthy. That's all I know because they [00:24:44] do a lot of traveling. But thank you [00:24:46] very much for being here. And for your [00:24:48] support for years because they were [00:24:49] there right at the beginning 2015 even [00:24:52] 2015 [00:24:54] before we started. They were some of [00:24:56] them were there before I even announced. [00:24:58] They said he'll be a good president. We [00:25:00] need a good president. But they're uh [00:25:02] amazing patriots. Thank you very much. [00:25:04] Appreciate it. And last summer, I [00:25:08] ordered devastating strikes on Iran's [00:25:10] key nuclear facilities and something [00:25:12] that was called Operation Midnight [00:25:14] Hammer. That's exactly what it was. 1:00 [00:25:18] in the morning at midnight with no moon. [00:25:20] You couldn't see a thing. And I got the [00:25:22] message, sir, they have entered Iranian [00:25:25] airspace. And I got to see it all on on [00:25:29] at take place. It was amazing. The B2 is [00:25:32] the flying wing. And I didn't understand [00:25:35] the B2s until then, but now I understand [00:25:37] them very well. So does the We just [00:25:38] ordered a lot more. The super duper new [00:25:41] model, right? But they flew in. They [00:25:43] were totally undetected. [00:25:45] And those pilots, I met the pilots. I [00:25:47] had them down to the White House in the [00:25:48] Oval Office. I gave them all medals, [00:25:51] actually. And I said, "Did you really [00:25:54] like doing this stuff?" You know, [00:25:56] they're flying into very hostile [00:25:57] territory. And uh they said, "Sir, we [00:26:01] couldn't wait." In fact, they wanted to [00:26:03] wait. You saw that what was happening. [00:26:05] People wanted to wait and the pilots and [00:26:07] their commander called me and said, [00:26:08] "Sir, we're ready to go. Don't worry [00:26:10] about that. That weather's nothing. We [00:26:12] want to go, sir. We want to go." Now, if [00:26:15] it were me, I'd say, "Take it easy. [00:26:17] Let's relax." But, you know, you people [00:26:19] have a lot of courage. Amazing. Amazing. [00:26:22] So, we gave them medals. But that was [00:26:24] operation midnight hammer achieving [00:26:27] total obliteration of the Iran nuclear [00:26:30] potential capability totally [00:26:32] obliterated. [00:26:33] And think every single one of those [00:26:36] 100,000 pound bombs hit its target which [00:26:39] happens to be an air shaft that goes [00:26:40] directly into the facility. I don't [00:26:43] think they'll be building air shafts [00:26:44] anymore. That's not a good concept. They [00:26:46] want to get a little air. They want to [00:26:48] get a little fresh air. It didn't work [00:26:49] out too well. No other country on earth [00:26:52] could have done what we did. No other [00:26:53] country has the weapons. No other [00:26:55] country has the skill. No other country [00:26:58] has the guts. And no other country has [00:27:00] the extraordinary warriors that we have. [00:27:02] We have the best warriors in the world. [00:27:03] Because you can have the greatest [00:27:04] equipment. But if you don't have the [00:27:06] warriors, the equipment doesn't mean [00:27:08] much. Last month, we proved this truth [00:27:11] once again when some of our greatest [00:27:13] soldiers right here to ever live, [00:27:17] frankly, successfully captured the [00:27:20] outlaw dictator of Venezuela, Nicholas [00:27:23] Maduro, and brought him back to face [00:27:25] American justice where he's now right [00:27:27] now waiting. [00:27:29] And uh that was an amazing night. People [00:27:33] saw that they they've never seen [00:27:35] anything like it. You know, it's a [00:27:36] pretty military country. It was a big [00:27:38] base, one of the biggest bases in South [00:27:40] America where he lived. And it was in a [00:27:44] a matter of minutes before he was on a [00:27:46] helicopter being taken out of there. [00:27:48] They had to go through steel doors. The [00:27:49] steels were like, it was like [00:27:50] paperier-mâché. You know what [00:27:51] paper-mâché is? That's weak paper. These [00:27:54] guys blasted through every door. They [00:27:56] got up to him before he got to the big [00:27:58] safe. But that wouldn't have worked [00:27:59] either because they had equipment that [00:28:01] was going to knock that out in a matter [00:28:02] of minutes. But he never got there. It [00:28:06] went so fast. Think of it. In a matter [00:28:09] of minutes, when people realize what [00:28:10] happened, they're looking up and there's [00:28:12] the helicopter heading back to aircraft [00:28:15] carriers. So that night, the entire [00:28:17] world saw what the full military might [00:28:21] the US military is capable of. That was [00:28:23] a unbelievable operation, but that was a [00:28:26] smaller operation. But it was so [00:28:29] precise, so incredible. Nobody thought a [00:28:31] thing like that could happen. They even [00:28:34] talk about the discombobulator because [00:28:36] they never got a shot off. The Russian [00:28:38] equipment didn't work. The Chinese [00:28:40] equipment didn't work. Everyone's trying [00:28:41] to figure out why it didn't work. [00:28:44] Someday you're going to find out, but it [00:28:46] didn't work. It's nice when you can fly [00:28:48] in and not get shot at. Although we did [00:28:51] have three helicopter pilots who were [00:28:53] wounded pretty badly in the legs, [00:28:55] landing and a couple of machine gunners [00:28:59] seem to have make it through a thicket [00:29:01] of bombs. But they were taken out [00:29:03] rapidly by our snipers who were [00:29:06] stationed on platforms actually [00:29:08] unbelievable helicopter platforms all [00:29:11] the way the line and they were taken out [00:29:14] immediately and those pilots were [00:29:15] incredible and really brave. I may see [00:29:17] some of them very shortly. Uh they were [00:29:19] hit pretty bad in the legs. You know, [00:29:22] they're landing a big chopper and [00:29:24] they're being shot at from close range [00:29:27] by a machine gun. So that's not a [00:29:29] comfortable feeling. They landed it [00:29:31] perfectly and they got out of there [00:29:33] perfectly and they're just brave guys [00:29:35] and very talented, skilled people. With [00:29:37] your help, America is winning again. [00:29:39] America is respected again. And perhaps [00:29:42] most importantly, we are feared by the [00:29:44] enemies all over the globe. They fear [00:29:47] us. said, you know, I don't like to say [00:29:48] fear, but sometimes you have to have [00:29:50] fear because that's the only thing that [00:29:52] really will get the situation taken care [00:29:55] of. We have a situation right now where [00:29:57] we sent a very big carrier group to [00:30:02] Iran. I'd love to see if we could make a [00:30:04] deal. They've been difficult to make a [00:30:06] deal. I thought we would have had a deal [00:30:07] last time. They wish they did, and [00:30:09] that's where we did Midnight Hammer. But [00:30:12] uh with the restored strength and the [00:30:15] tremendous power that we've now built up [00:30:17] over the last number of years, even [00:30:19] though we were there was an interlude [00:30:21] with Biden who was the worst president [00:30:23] in the history of our country. [00:30:25] But the interlude fortunately was ended [00:30:27] quickly and we started the process again [00:30:29] and and built upon what we had already [00:30:32] done the first four years. But we're [00:30:33] also bringing peace all over the world. [00:30:35] I ended eight wars in just 10 months. [00:30:37] Eight wars are ended and we have a [00:30:40] couple of more to go. But one in [00:30:42] particular, Russia, Ukraine, it's a [00:30:44] mess. It's a horrible thing. And I think [00:30:46] we'll get there. Takes two to tango. You [00:30:49] have to remember that. And we have to [00:30:51] get there. Tremendous casualties, number [00:30:54] of casualties. Uh there's a war that if [00:30:57] we were involved in that war, it would [00:30:58] have been over very quickly and [00:31:00] effectively. But we're not fortunately. [00:31:03] In fact, we're not spending any money [00:31:04] where we are spending and sending [00:31:06] weapons to NATO. And because of the [00:31:09] increase from 2% to 5% of GDP that the [00:31:12] NATO countries are paying, they pay us [00:31:14] full for the weapons and then they [00:31:17] distribute the weapons to mostly, I [00:31:20] guess, Ukraine. But that's up to them. [00:31:21] They buy them. And we do make the [00:31:24] greatest weapons of any country in the [00:31:26] world by far. Most effective weapons. So [00:31:29] my message to all of the warriors here [00:31:30] today is that your commander-in-chief [00:31:34] supports you totally. I have I support [00:31:36] you more than I know you've had a couple [00:31:38] of good ones. Not that many if you want [00:31:40] to know the truth, but we support you [00:31:43] more than any of them. And you're going [00:31:45] to get out and when needed, you're going [00:31:47] to fight, fight, fight. You're going to [00:31:48] win win win. And we're going to continue [00:31:52] to make our country bigger and better [00:31:54] and stronger than ever before. And [00:31:56] that's exactly where we are right now. [00:31:58] We are the most respected country [00:32:01] anywhere in the world. And I say it, the [00:32:02] king of Saudi Arabia told me when I was [00:32:04] there, he spent $2 trillion. We have $18 [00:32:07] trillion being invested right now in our [00:32:09] country from other companies and [00:32:11] countries all over the world. The most [00:32:14] any country's ever had is three [00:32:15] trillion. That was a long time ago. And [00:32:18] it didn't happen to be us. It was [00:32:19] another country. It starts with a C. Can [00:32:22] you imagine what I'm talking about? [00:32:23] China. But we have 18 trillion being [00:32:26] invested. As an example, in the Biden [00:32:28] four years, they had less than a [00:32:30] trillion, think of this, less than a [00:32:32] trillion over four years. We have 18 [00:32:34] trillion in 11 months because we haven't [00:32:38] gotten the final numbers under 12 [00:32:39] months. So, that's only going to go up. [00:32:41] There's never been anything like it. But [00:32:43] the king of Saudi Arabia looked at me, [00:32:45] he says, you know, a year and a half [00:32:47] ago, I thought the United States of [00:32:50] America was finished.
