My understanding is the release of files outside of FBI custody is their issue.

Is the issue the release of original docs or is the objection to any release of does?

I spoke with he said OGC won't authorize the release of the files so they are pursuing doclab
option. I'm going to get thr details tomorrow and discuss with SDNY on whether the solution is viable.

PM on yesterday's email. Let us know if MM has an objection to SDNY digitizing aspects of
the MM file. I'd like to start the process by the end of this week.
Thanks

All,
Over the past 90 days I know there has been some discussion regarding the need to turn over appropriate
documents, from the MM WPBRA investigation of Epstein, to the SDNY.
We are now on a very short timeline as we plan to indict Epstein next Tuesday. While the arrest date
will depend on his travel back into the US (he's currently OCONUS), we need to get the docs to SDNY
in case he presses for an expedited trial.
SDNY has funding and a contractor which they regularly use to scan does in for review, discovery, etc.
This is something NY has done with SDNY other times in the past. I met with the SDNY Chief of
Criminal last Thursday who expressed her concerns and inquired about the need to escalate.
Dying to avoid the escalation from SDNY. can you confirm the position from MM?

I greatly appreciate the help MM has provided so far and know we're all only interested in justice for the
victims in this case.
Thanks
