Mr. Tidiane,
Thank you very much for getting in touch with Mr. Diagne. As I mentioned before we were initially waiting for him in
order to start our representation. After hearing from you last week I am glad to hear we have the authority to start the
representation. Since we have been unable to reach Mr. Diagne I wanted to ask you about the outstanding payment.
We wanted a fee of $50,000 per month for 3 months of work paid quarterly in advance which would be $150,000. Mr.
Diagne agreed to this but asked that $50,000 be deferred until November 30th. I have tried to reach Mr. Diagne a few
times to see about this payment but have been unsuccessful. Can you please check with him and let me know when we
can expect the payment.
Bob Crowe, the Chair of Government Relations at Nelson Mullins, who I have copied, has already been in contact with
the State Department on this matter and had a very detailed discussion with a high ranking official working closely on
this. We are engaging Congress and had an initial briefing with Senator Ed Markey, the top Democrat on the Senate
Foreign Relations Committee on Africa.
As I mentioned earlier, our agreement was to be paid $150,000 on or before November 30th to start the engagement.
We have started the engagement out of good faith but the $50,000 under our agreement remains outstanding. I spoke
to Bob as a continued sign of our good faith and interest in working on this matter, we will continue the agreement, and
our work, and move the 90 day window forward by 30 days so the $150,000 will cover December- February so long as
the remaining balance of $50,000 is paid to us this month.
Do you think you will be able to speak to Mr. Diagne and have this arranged?
Thank you very much,
Vinoda

Dear Vinoda
Following my last message I spoke this morning with Mr Diagne. He asked me to convey to you all his trust and said that
you must go ahead. At this stage all is in your hands and as I already told you we believe in your capacity to get to some
good results in this matter.
Best and personal regards

Mr. Tidiane,
I am delighted to hear that we will be moving forward. We were contacted my one of Mr. Wade's business associates
in the U.S. who happens to be old friends with Bob Crowe, a senior partner and chair of the Government Relations
practice at the firm. They spoke this morning and Bob sent the contract and wire details to Mr. Wade's associate in
New York. He said he would handle the payment details and contract. I trust that this is the correct course of
action?
I am very excited to work with you and look forward to getting started on this representation.
My best,
Vinoda
