Forward to Eduardo Lima Jr design concepts of build out for existing
compound, dock, picture of the mechanical building with description of
proposed fit out and indication of future build out of RO units, storage and
engineering department.
Eduardo will be contacting General Contractors
Doug will forward all Grade/retaining designs to clarify transformer
location and back fill amounts.
He will also review cabinet designs for office pavilion, these will then
will be forward to vendors for bid.
Review of coral stone layout will also occur
Lastly went to LSJ on our last trip for approx 14 days to allow
both Curtis and Silvina to focus on construction and design aspects. I did
mention to them both at that time if there was anything that we should pass
onto Doug they should do so to speed things up. They felt there was no need
to do so.
On May 2Ist I requested by phone that the following design info be forwarded
to you for your review, revised kitchen layout, Cornice and roof color
options, office pavilion cabinet sketch and design options for concrete beam
treatment on the office pavilion.
Please note their administrative duties have been cut back to the bare
minimum, basically payroll and invoice review and approval. Daphne and the
LSJ Supervisors have taken on most of this responsibility, which seems to be
working at this stage.
The Royston's feel that someone else should be performing these tasks.
Payroll administration and invoice review/approval are the fundamental
requirements of any manager, this was explained to them when they applied
for the position.
Reflecting back upon the Bill Rowles situation and not wishing to make the
same mistake twice. I would advise that new management is sort for LSJ
immediately, even if we have to provide a temporary solution to cover until
the right candidates are found.
