"Where or when does the president believe he's been falsely called racist?"

Yesterday in his [00:00:01] statement about Jesse Jackson, the [00:00:03] president said, "Despite the fact that [00:00:04] I'm falsely and consistently called a [00:00:06] racist by the scoundrels and lunatics on [00:00:08] the radical left, Democrats all, it was [00:00:11] always my pleasure to help Jesse along [00:00:12] the way. Where or when does the [00:00:16] president believe he's been falsely [00:00:18] called racist?" [00:00:19] >> You're kidding, right? [laughter] [00:00:22] >> I will pull you plethora of examples. [00:00:24] I'm going to get my team in that room to [00:00:26] start uh going through the internet of [00:00:29] radical Democrats throughout the years, [00:00:31] Ed, who have accused this president [00:00:32] falsely of being a racist. And I'm sure [00:00:35] there's many people in this room and on [00:00:37] network television across the country [00:00:38] who have accused him of the same. In [00:00:40] fact, I know that because I've seen it [00:00:42] with my own eyes. And the president very [00:00:44] much looks forward to having a event [00:00:46] later this uh afternoon at 3M to [00:00:49] celebrate Black History Month and to [00:00:51] talk about how his policies are [00:00:52] advancing opportunity and prosperity for [00:00:55] all Americans through uh record tax cuts [00:00:58] through the Trump accounts that all [00:01:00] Americans can access regardless of race. [00:01:02] These are a great thing for the next [00:01:04] generation of Americans. The president [00:01:06] has also awarded hundreds of millions of [00:01:08] dollars in additional funding to [00:01:10] strengthen educational outcomes at [00:01:12] historically back black colleges and [00:01:14] universities across the country. Uh [00:01:16] again, the president is protecting the [00:01:18] hardearned benefits of the 2.4 million [00:01:20] black veterans who honorably served in [00:01:22] our nation's armed forces by reducing [00:01:24] the black backlog of veterans waiting [00:01:26] for their VA benefits uh and for their [00:01:29] home loans through the veteran uh [00:01:31] Department of Veterans Affairs. So, [00:01:33] there is a lot this president has done [00:01:35] for all Americans, regardless of race, [00:01:37] and he has absolutely been falsely [00:01:39] called and smeared as a racist.
