He was We were constantly [00:01:18] on the range. Pistol, pistol, pistol, [00:01:21] pistol. One point I pulled him aside and [00:01:23] said, "Mark, like by the time our heavy [00:01:27] weapons go down, our M4s go down, we [00:01:31] can't call any air support, and we got [00:01:33] to go to pistols in the mountains of [00:01:34] Afghanistan, it might be time to to go." [00:01:38] [laughter] [00:01:39] Sure enough, if I didn't find myself [00:01:40] somewhere, and he said, "Sure." He said, [00:01:44] "Sir, thank you for your input. Shut up [00:01:45] and get back on the range." [00:01:47] >> [laughter] [00:01:48] >> And sure enough, I didn't find myself [00:01:50] somewhere where all of that was down and [00:01:52] it's me 30 yards from a PKM. [00:01:56] >> Damn. [00:03:34] If you were going to teach one skill to [00:03:36] somebody that had no skills, you know, [00:03:38] for this five item thing, what what what [00:03:40] skill would you teach that person? [00:03:43] >> What do you mean like superhero skill? [00:03:44] >> Yeah. Like would you teach him to shoot? [00:03:46] Would you teach him how to pull [00:03:47] surveillance? Would you teach him how to [00:03:49] what what would you teach that what [00:03:51] teach him to fight? [00:03:52] >> I got I guess I got to go with shoot [00:03:53] because it doesn't matter what you have [00:03:55] in that type of environment. If you [00:03:57] can't if you can't keep it, defend it [00:03:59] and as men uh defend your families, then [00:04:04] >> good call. [00:04:05] >> It's all going to get taken from you [00:04:06] eventually. There's people that prepare [00:04:08] and then there's people that don't. [00:04:09] >> Right on.
